This place was super charming and very busy. Seating inside is limited and most people take up the few stools just waiting for their order. It's definitely a grab and go place. We got two plain bagels, toasted. Both were very good. Ask for extra cream cheese - you'll need it. The red velvet cookie is delish. If you're a fan of frosting, you'll love the cinnamon roll. Left disappointed after a $65 breakfast. I was a little surprised when the food came out in takeout boxes with them offering a brunch menu. Below is a breakdown of what we had, rated by the family member who ordered it. - Small Lavender Latte (4 stars): Nice floral taste with a hint of honey sweetness. Slight bitter aftertaste. - Large Caramel Latte (5 stars): Husband liked it. I thought it was a little bitter. - Avocado Toast (2.5 stars): bread was the best part. Franklin's has become a must go for when I'm visiting Savannah and I legitimately look up how close my hotel is to Franklin's. On my last visit I stayed at The DeSoto which is the place to be if you want to be next door to Franklin's. I probably went three or four times on my last visit. It's so convenient and the staff are great. I love the coffee and the unique specials along with the food. It's cute inside and is an absolute Savannah staple. You're missing out if you don't stop in at least once. read more

Franklin's did not live up to the hype at all. If anything I would say it was really bad. I got 2 coffee one cherry blossom and one frozen one. They both were BAD. The cherry blossom one tasted like they pumped 10+ pumps of sweetness it was actually undrinkable. The frozen coffee was just as bad, the texture was horrible. And I've had lots of frozen, blended coffee before. Starbucks does a better one. These coffee were so bad we dumped them and walked over to Asher + Rye to get coffee. While this place can get very busy and seating can get tricky, the workers are super efficient! My meal was absolute perfection!

Lovely place! The tomato soup was super creamy and warm, which was lovely in the chilly weather. The picture doesn't do the grilled cheese justice - it looks greasy in the picture but it was wonderful. The cheese was smooth, not oily, and the bread was perfectly toasted. Not pictured is the "pot of gold" iced coffee, which was a vanilla and toffee nut flavor with sprinkles on top. The flavor wasn't nutty, which I enjoyed. If you like sweet coffees, this is a great option! Franklin's has become one of my favorite indulgences whenever in Savannah. The shop is adorable and easy to access by walking down a few stairs to a lower level cafe with beautifully delicious pastries behind a glass case. The coffee selections are a plenty and I've tried most of them and have never been disappointed. The banana pudding latte seems to have become a favorite. The staff is very friendly and happy to accommodate the perfect touches to get your coffee just the way you like it. They offer desserts and sandwiches as well as yummy breakfast choices all day long. The avocado toast was delicious and I've also enjoyed their breakfast bowl with your choice of protein, breakfast potatoes, pico, creamy grits, diced egg and toast. It's always delicious and you can peek in the sidewalk level windows to check to see how busy but don't let the line scare you off because they have a very efficient system and get your food to you quickly while you enjoy your coffee. read more

We went to Franklin's on our last day of our Savannah food crawl to start the morning. The place is very pretty - the shop front gives New York city vibes. Inside was aesthetic too. I loved the vibe here. We ordered the Lox n Bagel, the B.L.T., iced vanilla latte, and horchata latte. We wanted the matcha but they were out (it was 8am). The lox n bagel was alright. The cream cheese was the best part about it - garlicky flavor and aroma. I don't like capers so I took those off. The salmon was ok, tasted fishy. Maybe the quality of the fish wasn't the best. The bagel was a regular plain bagel. Nothing really special about this. Felt like it needed shrimp sauce with the salmon because of its fishy taste. 6/10 The B.L.T. was good according to my girlfriend. I don't like veggies, but she took it off for me and I'd say that the sandwich was really good. I enjoyed the smokey flavor of the bacon and how thick it was. 7/10 The coffees were nothing special. Their horchata latte wasn't anything different from regular coffee. Tasted like coffee you can brew in a standard coffee machine and finished with CoffeeMate creamer. 6/10 The service was fast and the staff were nice. Nothing too much here 10/10. read more

So impressed with this coffee shop and there are a few around the area. They have some seating both indoor and outdoor but luckily snagged two seats after ordering. I got the cappuccino and an almond croissant. My husband ordered an americano and breakfast sandwich. They were super busy so it took a minute for our order to be ready - especially food. The almond croissant was nice and flaky and I asked for it warm. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his sandwich though was quite messy. Their service was great! One of the employees (don't know his name but he was a tall African American male) was so kind and constantly checked in on us. I highly highly recommend this place! read more

We thought this place was okay. Nice staff; a bit more style than substance in the food though. Had a small London fog, large cafe au lait, a ham and cheese quiche which was the standout, and an okay lox and everything bagel. Set us back about $40 for two people. It was the bagel cream cheese and raw red onions with plain lox that disappointed us. Capers or even a few pickled onions would have helped. Not worth the cost. The warmed ham and cheese quiche with side salad however was lovely and perfect on this cold 40 degree morning with a sweet London fog. read more

I stopped in here for breakfast one morning while visiting town. Had myself an iced latte and a croque madame.
