A French bakery in Savannah? Sign me right up. Got a croissant to pair with my honey lavender latte and it was absolutely delicious.

Burnt quiche
Liz M.

I visited this cafe this morning. I was told the Quice was amazing! Let me just say the cafe was very busy and adorable. It looked and smelled great. I was so excited for the quiche! I ordered one slice, bag of chips and peppermint mocha ( hot). The mocha was beautiful and tasted so good! When I opened the Togo box I couldn't wait to get home to try it and was pleasantly surprised with fruit as well! The grapes and strawberries were fresh and ripe crispy not mushy , we were starting off great! Then I tried the $15 quiche slice and honestly if this cafe didn't already have such great reviews I would have given two stars. I spent over $30 abd the majority of that was a slice of BURNT quiche. There was no other flavor except burnt... I was so disappointed. I am hoping that this was just a bad day because it was highly recommended and nothing but praise on yelp. My advice is definitely get the coffee!! God Bless ! (FYI I did order the quiche fromage and I am aware that the crispy brown top is what is expected and appreciated in this dish, but this is not blackened. This top is black. I did research online and it's not supposed to be black. It's supposed to be golden brown. I'm sure this was a "one off" and this cafe probably has an amazing quiche. I'll go back again and try a different one another time but for today spending $15 on a slice of quiche that tastes like charcoal ,I was highly disappointed.)

I've always wanted to stop by this place but never found myself in the area--until now! I'm so glad I finally got to visit. The atmosphere is absolutely charming, and the staff was so kind, helping me decide between the Lavender Honey Latte and the Strawberry Matcha. I went with the latte, and it was perfectly refreshing! I wish I'd had more time to relax and enjoy the cozy seating area, but I'll definitely be back soon! Also huge plus for the little book library next door!

What a delightful, relaxing spot to sit and unwind or write a Yelp review or two! Simply a great way to begin the day! I settled for the Honey Lavendar latte and their spinach croissant - both were wonderful and reorders! Service was patient as I couldn't decide, and speedy once my order was placed. I will return!

French Breakfast and Flat White

Arrived a few minutes before noon and was delighted to learn that my breakfast request could still be accommodated. I enjoyed the French breakfast and a cappuccino. The bread was fresh, perfectly toasted and accompanied by the perfect amount of creamy butter and sweet preserves. The cappuccino was divine with the perfect amount of foam. I loved food, the service (so appreciated the ability to get a late breakfast) and the relaxing atmosphere- I know you will too.

Honey, cinnamon cortado. Winner!
Omar A.

Honey cinnamon cortado was on point and layout in the cafe was really nice and relaxing. One of my favorites in Savannnah for coffee. I deducted one star sadly because the chocolate croissant (pan au chocolate) was subpar and not good at all. I will give it another chance and try another pastry next time.

Like a lot of places around here, this is not open on Sunday but even on the midweek day that I visited (albeit a holiday week) it was packed. They had outdoor seating, but it was a little rainy so I squeezed into a table indoors. I decided to be adventurous and get a chaga chai, which is based on a mushroom. It definitely was an earthier flavor than most chai, but I was okay with it. I wasn't hungry enough to order a big item, but a nutella croissant sounded just about right, and it was as flaky and as delicious as one would hope. Overall, small cafe, small menu, but some good stuff to be had.

Seasonal latte- peppermint mocha with oat milk

This French inspired cafe is a keeper! It is located on Bull Street. You will find it on the corner of the same shopping plaza with the Love curvy bridal boutique. There is parking on the street. The cafe is petite but mighty! It has seating outdoors. When you enter you are greeted with a long white counter that leads you to the register and menu. The whites, blues and browns make the space feel open. The large windows painted in white do as well. There are bistro tables and a long banquette for seating. I would not suggest large groups. But 2-4 people are perfect for Cafe Taureau. The menu looks scrumptious! The description on their website of French inspired is on point. There are lots of pastries such as: croissants of many different kinds, cookies, scones etc. They have sandwiches, charcuterie(small and large), and more. The almond croissant is delicious! Incredibly flaky, buttery, and the perfect amount of almond. Let's talk caffeine. The peppermint mocha is magic! They have diary free milk options. I got mine with oat milk. They use real dark chocolate in it. The drinks in cafe are served in lovely cozy mugs. There is a small market area with a few food items to buy if you would like. The bathroom is around the corner behind the market build in. They kindly ask you to bus your own table. The containers are provided for you to put your dirty dishes in. On this same fixture you will see flavored serve yourself water, milks for coffee, salt, pepper, sugar and more. Cafe Taureau is a lovely experience! Go and visit to find out for yourself.

Blueberry scone was delicious with the perfectly sweetened Lavender Honey Latte

Cute new coffee shop with space to work, if you get there early enough on a weekday! The music and ambiance is like jazz cafe meets a boozie patisserie. Although they had just about as many tables and chairs as could fit in the place, they were packed for much of the time I worked there! There are also tables outside in the front. (I didn't check the back though a previous business that was here has put tables there in the past.) The sound level was pretty loud with everyone talking over each other and the music. If I wasn't meeting someone there, my sound canceling headphones would be a must to work here. Food foods they have many classic and new twist items like Nutella filled croissants, gluten-free (crust-less) quiche, scones, and other pastries and dessert items. Free wifi that never gave me any problems even with so many folks there. One gender-inclusive, single stall bathroom that was decorated to theme for the cafe. I ordered: Lavender Honey Latte with oatmilk - the sweetness on this was perfect. This kind of latte can easily get swallowed up by the Honey and have no Lavender flavor, but not this gem! The ratio was perfect for me as someone who wants to taste the Lavender but have less sweetness. Blueberry scone - reheated this was nice to break off and dip in my latte. It was not dry or crumbly. Next time: I'll try another pastry or dessert.

This is my second time here, happy they finally have a Yelp page! We got some pastores to go this time- a spinach and ricotta croissant and a bacon/ Gruyère/ rosemary quiche and a mocha latte. The pastries are really good! Dare I say one of the yummiest pastries I've gotten from a cafe in a while. The interior is lovely, the also offer wine, cheeses, and beer. This isn't a place to get work done- more of a morning stop or afternoon pick me up (I'm sure you can do work here, but I feel like that will disrupt the energy there!) Sad to see the previous coffee shop go, but looking forward to see how this place makes its mark in the community.

This cute gem is located off Bull street which can be a busy in the Arley Park area there isn't a parking lot but only street parking. It can be a little difficult if it's during their peek hours but totally worth it. There are cute outside table that line the front of the cafe which is great when you are with your pup or just wanting to enjoy the pretty weather and there is also a courtyard in back if you prefer to be away from the noise of traffic zooming by. The inside color scheme is decorated in cream, grays and marble. Which really makes the space feel bigger than it is with the large windows and sunlight pouring in. Seating can be cramped if your party is larger than 2 since the tables are arranged pretty closed to each other. The back wall seating has power outlets under the seats if you want to work and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee. I removed 1 star because they have a menu posted above the counter but only the coffee/teas and a small selection of sandwiches are available. They do offer dairy free milk but it isn't on the menu nor listed anywhere on their website. The sandwiches apparently can also be made gluten free but again there aren't any signs letting you know that option is available. They also have wine/beer listed and charcuterie boards for a half/full size and these are not available either. I've visited on two separate occasions and each time my coffee has been delicious. In the picture below I had an almond flavored oatmilk late which tasted just like an almond cookie and I love that instead of giving it to you in plastic it was served in a glass /ceramic mug. You have to bus your own tables after you are done and they have a dish drop off buffet to the back that also has lemon water available along with the normal coffee station set up with creamer and additional sugars packs or simple syrup.

I loved the lavender London fog I ordered. The ambience is lovely. Will definitely go back.

Nice display

I am sure, they have been very busy all day and weren't at their best to deal with the last customers of the day... It seems they didn't want us inside and service was very poor. The ambiance is really nice. The coffee were good....but the pan was not good. I am sure it was just today... Let's hope for better service and pastries next time.
