Definitely check this place out! They just opened eight weeks ago, the only Kava/Kratom bar in Savannah. Ivan is the owner and was very helpful and informative for us newbies. Plus, they have Dubai chocolate, bonus! A great place to chill and relax. If you have some work to do, they have tables that you can set up at. There's a little park across the street that has free parking for an hour and a half. We lucked out both times and found a spot here.

    A few drinks to go!

Kava House in Savannah offers a unique and welcoming escape. Perfect for relaxing, reading, or remote work. They also serve a variety of other unique beverages which are incredibly delicious, along with snacks like Auspicious baked goods, Mochi donuts, and even instant ramen, including the popular Dubai Chocolate bar. It's a great spot to enjoy and it's veteran owned. We will definitely be back.

Plenty of seating, including couches, outdoor seating, and tables and chairs

Kava House is the first of Savannah's kind. They offer Kava for relaxation with two different strands, one for the body and one for the mind, Kratom with three strains, one for euphoria, one for focus and energy, and one for pain relief, all of which are not mind altering substances, but help enhance your day. They also have Vietnamese coffee and can make flavored soda for those who aren't ready/haven't yet tried nootropics. Ivan and Hind are both knowledgeable and friendly. They learn about what you and your day and recommend drinks accordingly. They take their time ensuring you don't feel rushed with your questions, even if there is a line. The space itself is comfortable and inviting, providing a spacious and quiet environment for students in need of a spot to study, offering board games and manga proving a great space to come alone or with your friends. They offer a variety of baked goods, quick self serve meals like a variety of ramen and mac and cheese, and teriyaki chicken from Star kitchen. Cheap and perfect for someone in need of a quick bite.

Cool and refreshing kava and kratom drinks for both tea and coffee lovers alike. Great Auspicious Bakery treats, Dubai Chocolates, hot dogs, chips and more. Modern, contemporary and extremely clean space. Hardwood floors, high ceilings and windows. Modern, contemporary, comfortable couches, chair & tables. Located inside a beautiful Victorian house in an art-saturated neighborhood. Awesome owner who's local and loves Savannah. Supporter of local artists. Incredible art hanging on the walls of local artists and students alike. Great front porch space under the live oaks overlooking our beautiful Bull ST Public Library SQ. Great hours.

What a beautiful picturesque place to have some bites and cocktails!…read more I was welcomed into this moody, velvety spot with a sweeping view of the river. Beautiful glass, marble, deep colors of navy, mauve, and gold. Service was wonderful, felt welcomed immediately. For my appetizer, I had the crab cake with homemade tartar sauce, which was a light, bright way to start the evening. For my entree, I had the filet mignon. The server will tell you, the menu says tapas, but the servings are larger than that. Meat portions are generous at 6 oz. My only complaint is that I ordered my steak medium and got closer to well done. At least the steak was still moist and not dried out, but I would be hesitant to do the steak again. The spinach risotto I had with it was creamy and cheesy, however, so that was nice. Other options for food include burrata, a charcuterie board, grilled shrimp, sea bass, salmon, scallops. The cocktails are the real star here. They fall under the categories "strong and adventurous," light fare," and "signature." Non-alcoholic cocktails are also available. I started with the medusa 1597, under "strong and adventurous." Made with Old Tom Gin, extra dry vermouth, truffle, grapefruit, and amaro, it was extremely strong. A bold, slow sipper I would have done better to have later in the evening, but I still appreciate the complexity of it. I also had the Bella primavera, a lighter cocktail under the signature section. Made with pisco, blanc vermouth, French herbal liqueur, watermelon, and basil leaf. A smoother, brighter, faster sip than the Medusa. And I also had the blood orange martini, made with French vodka, blood orange, lime, and cranberry. A little sweet, but not cloying, and again, would have been a better starter as opposed to a closer. I think when I return, I will ask the bartender to make me off the menu drinks. This place seems creative enough that the outcome would be fantastic. I loved this place. The vibe, the view, the service, the offerings. Can't wait to see what more they have in store.

But our hotel was down the street, so we kept passing by it... and every time, everyone outside looked hot, clean-cut, stylish, and very millennial. The bartenders were awesome. Super friendly, fun to talk to, and gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip. They made us modified espresso martinis based on what we liked/didn't like and absolutely nailed it.
