This store is in sort of a weird alley near the Starland complex but not in it. It is a good place to sit both in and out due to the shade. The menu had some interesting crepes, but they told me they were out of batter (comfortably before the end of the day), so I had to go elsewhere to get my crepe on. However, their beverages were also interesting, and ordering a mint matcha chip (only non-dairy milks here, so I got oat) delivered a beverage which was rich in flavor and not overly sweet. Cutest little cafe! I stumbled upon Superbloom after a workout class in the Starland District. The interior featured a combined cafe and gift shop, with products from local artists. My friends know I love a good coffee shop to work in and this place did not disappoint. The staff person was very helpful and friendly. There were some espresso options I was not used to getting but they were able to make what I was looking for: a cortado with oatmilk. They have in-person mugs which is great. No need for throw away containers if you're going to stay here. The music was a mix of chill pop and avolugood volume of you still want your own headphones. If the place is packed, the sound becomes more like white noise in the space. There are lots of tables for working and the booth side cushion is actually comfortable. The lavender rose latte was as pretty and delicious as it sounds. If you are looking for a coffee kick but want a little extra something something, this is the latte for you. The lavender is definitely a prominent flavor and it was topped with little rose petals. And the shop!! Adorable and cozy on the inside and out. There was an entire section with tables so I don't think you'll ever have trouble getting a place to enjoy your drink and the AC and the incredible art adorning the walls and the mural in progress. They have tons of little goods and cute pieces, so this is a really lovely place if you are looking for gifts or art. Outside you'll find a few more tables and a shady spot to kick back if it's not too hot. While visiting Savannah I was staying right by Forsyth Park and it was about a 20 minute walk from our hotel to the shop. Maybe not the most scenic walk but the Dot bus also will take ya right here. After a weekend of heavy eats, we were looking for something lighter and headed into the Starland District for some alternative eats and drinks. We stumbled upon Superbloom on Instagram when we saw their pretty insta-worthy drinks. They offer coffee, teas, kombuchas and even superfood lattes on their menu. Love this shop! Was in Savannah for a ladies getaway trip and stumbled upon Superbloom while searching for a coffee shop. I'm glad we found it. They have some fun latte flavors. I got the vanilla red bean matcha latte. It came out as a layered drink. The red bean and matcha went well together. The red bean had the sweetness while the matcha balanced it out with it's bolder flavor. There are also options to add extra boosters or shots. When you walk into the shop, there is a variety of products you can shop made by local makers/vendors. I think that's awesome. There is another room where they allow for local artists to display and sell their art. They also have pictures and information about each artist. That room also has seating with a fun flower mural on the back wall. If it's a nice day, there's also seating outside of the shop. Note that there is no restroom in the actual shop. If you go, instead they'll give you a key for a restroom across the street. The area the shop is in has a lot to offer like bakeries, food truck park, and bars. read more

Starland District is just booming right now, with so many new restaurants and shops popping up and Sip Shop Make (SSM) is one of the newest kid on the block! It's the most perfect partnership between three incredibly creative and talented women, each with a different craft who have carefully selected products from local makers that are all showcased in their boutique. - Parking - SSM is located on DeSoto Ave, near Two Tides Brewing and around the corner from Back In The Day Bakery. Street parking is your option here and there's plenty around here...for now. - Vibe - It's such a beautiful shop, both inside and out. It's a bit hidden, but look for the vine wall! The shop is nestled in a lush, green exterior. It's a pretty cool store front because the trees on the sidewalk merge with their vine wall and it creates a much needed shaded area for their patio tables and chairs. The other thing that will catch your attention is the beautiful artwork on the front glass door. When you walk inside, there are two rooms. The left one is the boutique and the beverage bar with seats. The other room is where their art studio is, as well as an art gallery and more locally made items. - Sip - Marguerite is the mastermind behind the "Sip". You may have seen her around town at different events, both private and public. Even a wedding perhaps? She has the glammed up trailer turned into a mobile full service bar called Fete Chalet! At SSM, she is offering a variety of different hot and cold beverages like Kombucha, Coffee (also Nitro Cold Brew), Craft Sodas and Floats, Teas, but the one I was most intrigued about and ultimately ended up ordering, is her Superfood Lattes. I've never seen anything like it and I've worked in the Natural Health industry in the past. It's so innovative, healthy, gorgeous and down right delicious! I ordered the Purple Potato Latte and my friend ordered the Butterfly Pea ( a flower) Latte, both iced. The colors are stunning and she tops them with spices and dried flowers. See the pics for yourself! She also has a little station with all different types of sweetners and spices that you can add on to your taste! Also, she uses 100% decomposable cups and hay straws! The straw actually holds its structure and does not get soggy like the paper straw. Love businesses that are environmentally conscious! - Shop - Their shop carries locally made products by 20+ artists and designers. There is everything from printed clothing, jewelry, candles, greeting cards, pottery, textiles, baby items etc. I love that I can go there for a one stop shop for all things Savannah! I wanted to buy them all! I ordered a gift from a local artist and it turns out that SSM is one of her stockists! - Make - Lara and Jessica are the "Make". I was told that Lara does screen printing and her beautiful items are displayed and available for purchase throughout the store. Jessica is the one who did all the artwork for the store like the front door and the bar. To my understanding, the right room is going to be the screen printing studio and the space where they will be holding workshops! - TLC - We were greeted by Margeurite on our visit and she is such a sweetheart. She really takes pride in her work and made sure that we were completely satisfied with our lattes and even asked for feedback. All I can say is that they are amazing! - Kiddos - On our visit, since the workshops weren't set up yet, Marguerite gave our girls papers with prints (of Jessica's designs) with markers for them to color. The prints are gorgeous and even I wanted to do one! I can't wait for them to get their workshops set up! There is so much creativity and talent busting at the seams in this shop and I'm so happy that I have a place where I can find so many products made by local artists all in one place while I sip on some delicious lattes! read more

I'm giving Superbloom 2 stars because I really did like the presentation of the drinks. Very pretty and "aesthetically pleasing" for sure. The drink itself, however, did not impress me. The drink did not have enough ice in it so when it was given to me I maybe had a few cold sips before it heated up and was hard to drink. Since the drinks do have numerous health benefits I wanted to push through, but couldn't. To me, if the drink was colder it would be more refreshing. Plus, I am all for environmentally friendly packaging, but the straws were very flimsy and broke within the first few minutes. I've been through here a couple times now and each time is a good experience. The ladies that run the show are always sweet, helpful, down to earth and excited to share their products with you! Which by the way, they got some dang good products. They sell a bunch of products locally made (most handmade) that are all as impressive as the next. What blows my mind the most about them is the way they have taken ingredients, that you would never even think about, and make them into a drink. But what's even crazier is how dang good they are! Haven't gotten anything here that isn't bad. First trip in we tried the Purple Sweet Potato and the Beet Cocoa, both were fantastic, but the Beet Cocoa was super good. Both are very refreshing so unfortunately they went a lot quicker than I would've liked but luckily we know where they're located to be able to go get more lol. On my last trip I got the Kombucha, which is sourced from Atlanta (keeping it local as they can) and it was very good! Excited to see how this store takes off and even more excited to try more of their drink/drink combinations.
