Just so many charming southern cute gifts. My favorite section was the gone with the wind section with Vivian Leigh as Scarlett, Hattie McDaniel as mammy and Clark Gable as Rhett. They have a section of photo framed prints you can buy from the movie. It was very nice. It's better to see it in person that by a review but it's truly worth going to see. I asked how much for the other decanter. The person at the desk left to find the price and was gone for like 20 minutes. We waited and waited and he never came back, however, a manager was looking at the prices for all the decanters. I asked how much it was and she said she wasn't sure, so I told her I'd just take the one that was already marked. I picked it up and she said, give me that. So I did and she looked and she grabbed the sticker off the bottom and said that's not the price, and she wouldn't give the item back to me. I said.. well it's marked $9.99. She said.. you can buy it for $44.95 and I'll give you 25% off. What kind of scam is this? If I've ever been in a store and something is mismarked, they honor that price. All of the decanters were marked $9.99, except the one with the different shape that I really wanted. Buyer Beware. Not sure what kind of scam they're running here, but I won't ever go in here again. I'd give 0 stars for customer service, but I really liked the decanter, so I'll give it a 1.

The place certainly had what we were looking for with everything pretty much priced in line with most other such shops. Everything is nicely laid out, presented in an orderly fashion and the service was certainly friendly and nice, but I fail to see what all the hoopla is about or anything that would distinctly set it apart as being any better than any other such shop unless it might be its admirable location along the riverfront. We made our purchases, went on our way but stopped by a couple of other such shops which we found to be very similar both in price and in what they carried. So, in comparison, the best I can said is that I found Land and Sea Wear to be just fine, I liked it, but nothing Weehoo or as good as it gets about the place.

Knocking several times to be let in. Only to have someone answer and almost reluctantly let us inside. And then, I was followed around the store. I would like to tell you that this was because the proprietor was interested in us and wanted to help. But that would be a rose colored tint I am not prepared to see through. I am of color. I was followed around the store in a way that I know. I know the motivation and belief system that causes store personnel to follow me, ask me repeatedly if I "need help", or simply just eye me suspiciously. I was offended and despite the beautiful merchandise (we wanted to buy the set of steak knives we saw--we later bought them from Williams and Sonoma) I bought nothing. I want them to starve for business and hopefully eventually go where racism needs to go...away.

The Paris Market is essentially like an antique shop, museum, and classy cafe all came together at once. It has a perfect vibe and aesthetic that is honestly very calming when you've been rushing around the streets of Savannah prior to walking in the door. I highly recommend getting any flavor of latte (hot or iced) as well as their incredible Parisian hot chocolate. Both were delicious and actually worth the $6/$7 price tag! Then, you can stroll around the main level and lower level shop and admire all of the treasures. I can't wait to visit again soon!
