Great shop full of antiques, oddities and and really cool stuff in general. The owner is a cool guy who's also a fan of what he's selling. It's the kind of spot where you don't necessarily need anything but could easily spend a few hundred bucks. Definitely worth checking out. read more

This place is fantastic. Every little nook has something great in it. There is so much to see and purchase and the owner is awesome. Very friendly guy who is easy to talk to. He knows a lot about spiritual and mystic items and how they can help. He carries sage, tarot cards, kimonos, hand made purses from the Netherlands and all sorts of other wonderful items. He and his store are great and I highly recommend checking it out! The prices are incredibly fair. read more

The store was interesting but we were watched by the older man( owner) the whole time . I took a small quiet video of a perfume bottle with no one in it ( 5 secs long ) and he said no videos/ photos ? allowed. There was no sign anywhere . I could understand if it wasn't things you can just look up and find online but you can . Either way , I was going to say something positive until that. A lot of costumes , horror decor , witch and satanic type stuff . The store would have been fun ! I would post a photo of it , but he doesn't like that read more

Very unique store. The guy at the register said he's been there from Day 1 and it shows. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Prices were really reasonable. Ending up buying one item but there were many unique pieces in the store. Certainly worth a walk through. -The Caldwell's (Tony, Allyson, and Lenora) read more

No cameras! No photos! No videos! While we hoped this was because we were entering the secret world of Savannah Hoodoo, the truth is just that this is the wish.com version of Witch.com Lots of really fun things, pictures, books, but except for a really cool case full of masks, nothing you can't find for less on Amazon. It's definitely worth a stop to check out! read more

I love this store! They are always so friendly, helpful, and great to chat with. Sometimes I avoid stores because I feel like the people don't want you in there or they smother you, but that's not this store. They're also pet friendly, so when we are out with our dog, we can still stop in. They have some very unique items, and some things are a little macabre but that's right up my alley (and fitting for Savannah). They have a great variety, and honestly, a little bit of everything. Oddly enough, they have some hilarious greeting cards. Some things are a bit expensive, but there are two things to consider: where else will you be able to walk in and purchase that item and take it home today and it's a small, locally owned business. Support local! read more

Loved this shop! They have everything. We spent so much time in here looking at everything from their X-rays to the handbags. The owner (?) or manager was so nice. We stopped in twice to look around and once to ask him for a recommendation. Definitely a great shop to check out! read more

The service at this business was terrible. The older owner appeared friendly at first but rapidly changed when we actually started interacting with his very overpriced products. There's no signage about taking photos but we were abruptly told not to take photos which we complied with. We found an item or two we wanted to purchase and when we went to look up an item to see if it was discontinued by the manufacturer and how we could ensure we had the funds to purchase from his shop, the owner suddenly and rudely approached us and yelled at about shopping online and tariffs. We were so shocked at the behavior and poor service that we left the establishment immediately. Google one star reviews all say the same thing about this place. There is a reason for that and unfortunately we learned it first hand. Don't do the same. Not a place I will return to purchase. I can only do the one star but honestly I'd do a zero if I could. 0/100 read more

Very cool little store. I'm sure this place is extremely popular around Halloween time and among certain groups all year round. I loved so many little things in here. This time of year is the only time you can by the krampus hot cocoa, made with children's tears! They have an occult section in the back room as well. This place has been on the travel channel for paranormal activity and they are proud of it! read more

This is a very cool store on West York Street, that we happened to visit twice during our stay in the city. A wide selection of macabre housewares and goth decor, spell books, candles, potions, clothing, gifts...something for everyone. Ok..... I expected a bit less commercialism, but.... In my head j kept comparing it to similar stores in Salem, which is not exactly fair I admit. Shop owner was very inviting, very friendly but not pushy. Fun curiosities, unique items, and excellent costume apparel. Think Gothic vampire, or sexy punk rock with the clothes. Don't miss the store on the side, lots of unique witchy items in there. I would visit again. read more

Honestly I expected to find more places like this in Savannah but it seems to be one of a kind! I had a fun time looking around here, they have a lot to see spanning a variety of tastes and styles. I was hoping they'd have more local artists and products, but a lot of what they sell you can find elsewhere (but it is cool to see it all collected together and in person). My biggest problem was the guy behind the counter. He was extremely chatty and if you lingered too long to look at anything he'd immediately start trying to sell you on it. I personally hate that, I don't want to feel pressured into buying something. I felt a little "watched" which I just don't love. I ended up buying a candle and some bath bombs that i actually wanted. so it definitely wasn't a wasted trip but I was hoping this would be more of an occult shop and less of a trinket store. read more

I would definitely put this on the top 10 most unusual shops in Savannah, and maybe even in all of my travels. But I guess that could also be because I don't often see shops geared towards goth and steam punk. In the back room, there was a section of books on tarot, spells and the like, and a bunch of herbs and things that would be used in old-fashioned spells. If I lived here, I might get into this for a minute. Interesting closing and accessory items. Definitely just interesting to walk around in look at all the stuff! Halloween, I imagine they are very busy! read more

After enjoying the Genteel & Bard Ghost Tour the previous evening I just had to stop by this place to pick up some White Sage and Sweet Grass (you know, to rid my home of evil spirits once I returned). You could literally spend all day in this shop just perusing all the unique items and displays. They have so many cool things and the owners are so knowledgeable and happy to share all the stories of the unique items in the store. I purchased the sage and sweet grass and was even given instructions on how to bless my house once I returned home and my friend purchased an Alice in Wonderland bracelet and some other one of a kind items. We learned that most of the products they sell are sourced exclusively and they do ship which is nice to know in case I can't get rid of the bad spirits before running out of the sage smudge stick. read more

A slice of France in Savannah. This European-inspired shop is stocked with every type of bar soap you could possibly desire. They also have a bunch of fragrances and teas. In the kids section, they have super cute mugs. I may or may not have purchased an earth mug that changes when you put hot water in it. The owner is extremely helpful. He spent a long time assisting my mom as she teetered between several soap scents. Finally, indecision took control and she settled on a reasonably-priced variety pack. Happy to have found this sweet store! read more

We stumbled upon this gem while traversing the streets of historical Savannah. Needless to say if your into the bizarre, horror, goth, occult and all things strange and unusual check it out. Chock full of artifacts, knick knacks and curiosities from all over creation it's hard to spend only a few minutes here and a few dollars. Loved that the owner an interesting guy to say the least and he was playing Bowie one of my all time faves. Amazed to learn that this actual location was the site of the first cemetery in Savannah. Of course Savannah is known for its creepy ghosts and beautiful cemeteries. Who knows what spirits and demons occupy the floorboards ceilings and walls of this weird place. Enter at your own peril. But rest assured you will be amazed. read more

I used to love this place because it is so unique but I came by with my friend and her dog the other day and we were told we were allowed in with Moo (the dog). After a few minutes we came around the counter and the lady behind the counter (who was standing behind a 5 foot tall counter door) looked at moo. Keep in mind her dog is behind the counter with her and it's whining. So our dog starts wagging it's tail curious about the other dog. The sales woman tells us she is now uncomfortable and that our dog looks aggressive and asks us to leave. This dog who is clearly wagging it's tail in excitement over another dog. They missed 2 sales that day and many more because I don't plan on ever going back . Just a heads up people. If your dog is bigger than a cat and happens to be brindle, you won't be welcome. read more

I was visiting Savannah for the first time and came across this gift shop while waiting to meet for lunch with a client. It's an interesting mix of gift items. Candles, salts, soaps teapots to costumey looking coats and shoes-- the type Dracula would wear. The adjacent shop has skull themed items and I frankly don't remember much about what else was there but it reminds me of a shop you would find magic stuff, Witchery, black magic kind of things... whatever that is... What drew me in were the tapestry pillows made in the UK and Belgium. The guy was super nice and accommodating, offering to take down any piece I wanted to see closer. He was super friendly and made my shopping experience a pleasant one. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. read more

The owner was absolutely amazing and was very helpful. This is the best shop I have visited in Savannah, 10/10 recommend if you practice witchcraft or are interested in witchcraft. He talked with us for a bit and was open to questions. This place has potential to be cool. It has some interesting items minus all of the witchcraft things. DEFINITELY not into that. Some cute cups, etc. This strange girl working there followed my husband & I all throughout the store, making us very uncomfortable. I've never been followed in a store before so it was an odd experience. Especially since we were the only people in the store...and she never spoke. She just stood and watched us in silence. Interesting store but strange business practices. We decided not to get anything strictly bc of her watching us. Buy cameras if you're afraid of theft. Such a unique store where you can find books, British inspired homewares, toiletries, candles as well as metaphysical, magick, gothic, smudge sticks, occult inspired products (don't freak out about that!) beautifully decorated and displayed items. My friends and I came in here today to have a good time and look around at some shops in Savannah. Around 5 minutes into our trip into this shop, the shop owner/the older man working the counter followed my black male friend into the back and accused him of stealing a bar of soap, which he did not do. My friend proved this to him by emptying his pockets to which the man gave a half-assed apology and said, "It's a small shop, so I have to be careful." I was right beside my friend when we were looking at soaps and all he did was flip one over to check the price and set it right back down, which was quite visible and easy to see. This was a blatant act of racism towards my friend and was extremely disrespectful and disgusting to have witnessed. As soon as the rest of us learned of what happened, we promptly left the store and never plan to return. I would recommend not shopping here if you have any BIPOC friends or if you respect those people, because it is obvious that this store does not. read more

Oh my. If Earthbound Trading and Spencer's has a child who became a witch and a nun, it would be this place! I came in because of the pretty bottles on display in the window. I've been to many occult shops. A ghost tour guide recommended this as an "occult" shop. Occult-wise all they had were types of sage and some satanic looking stuff (I think these were added for shock value). No crystals. They had mostly soaps and goth clothes (steampunk costumes). read more

In a town of sooo many adorable stores, this one has to be one of the best. Simply one of the coolest, most unique gift stores you'll find. Couldn't agree less with the previous reviewers; just wanted to add a little something from my own experience. I did buy the soaps, and it ended up being one of the best purchases ever for me. For the past 10+ years my skin had always reacted to any kind of soap. Not with Olfactory's ones - I almost don't even need body lotion. 2 bars lasted me for almost a year and by now I forgot what life was before those amazing soaps from Savannah :-) Also they have a fantastic selection of spices, aforementioned soaps, scents, pretty little things, fine gifts and curiosities. I love love love what my great grandmother would refer to as "smelly pretty." This store is like heaven. Brands Ive used and loved (Kneipp, Penhaglion), brands I've wanted to try (Italian soap!), brands I've never heard of (yay! ) and best of all, the elusive Roger & Gallet.
