Opens at 7:00AM. Small batch roasted coffee is reasonably priced and served. This is a carry out coffee shop, selling a variety of brewed coffee drinks as well as a variety of whole beans and some healthy snacks and other beverage choices, but they are here for the coffee and so was I. My choice was the Cortado. This is equal parts espresso and lightly steamed, untextured milk (no foam) resulting in a strong balanced flavor. Similar to a "flat white" but the flat white uses more milk to espresso sand incorporates a textured milk resulting in a sweeter and smoother taste. The cortado was just what I needed to gear up for this mornings trade show floor. I purchased a whole beans pound of Roasters Choice for $10 and a whole beans pound of Savannah Sunshine Espresso for to go. This morning, we made a bodum of the espresso for our morning coffee at our VRBO stay in Greenville, SC. It was clear why the barista said this was their most popular bean, it was full bodied, slightly fruity on the finish, and had a smooth strongness rather than a bold/bitter strength. It went well with my wife's half and half, sugar additions and also it suited me for a straight up black cup of joe. Highly recommend both the shop and the roasted beans, just wish there was an option for internet orders for those of us who live hundreds of miles away and only get here once or twice per year. But when in town, this is an every morning must. read more

We loved this place! Stopped in because the children's coloring book caught my eye in the store window as we hadn't yet found a good Savannah locally made souvenir for our kiddos. What a quaint little coffee shop! I've seen Cup To Cup Cafe's (CTCC) bags of coffee at various eateries and shops around town and passed by the cafe many times, but never had the chance to check it out until this past Friday when I popped in to have a hot little bevvy and something to nosh on before a couples brunch date with friends. It seems like it is a small batch coffee roaster and this is their retail location and coffee shop. According to their website, they have a production facility on Johnny Mercer. - Parking - Located on Abercorn, between Oglethorpe Square and Colonial Park Cemetery, it's right across the street from PJ Thai's. This is the historic district, so only metered, street parking to be found here at $2/hr. - Vibe - Not very large at all, but it gives it that cozy atmosphere. Most of the space is occupied by the coffee bar which right in front of you, as soon as you walk in. The cash is to the right and there is bar stool seating all the way down. There is another smaller room to the back where you will find a couple of tables that encourage conversations with other patrons and a small area with 2 lounge seats. - TLC - There was one girl working and she was really polite and sweet. She seemed to know the customers and was engaging in conversation with the ones seated at the almost full bar. - Eats / Refreshments - Chai - I love chai tea lattes! I was told that they make their own chai concentrate. I personally always order Chais with whole milk. I can't have it any other way. It was delicious! Chocolatine - Despite knowing full well that I would be having brunch in less than one hour, when I saw the little card that said "Le Cafe Gourmet" right next to the chocolatine, I had to have one. Le Cafe Gourmet is one of my top 3 bakeries in Savannah and I had almost forgotten how good those things were! I applaud CTCC for not only knowing their stuff about coffee, but knowing good quality pastries to go with them! - Kiddos - In my opinion, I don't think this is the most ideal place for a playdate meet up spot, only because of the size of the location, but you can still manage to probably squeeze in a stroller in there. However, if you have small children who are more independent walkers, the availability of seating, as well as the height of them isn't the best for their ages. I am so glad I got to finally check out CTCC. They have quite an impressive list of places that stock their beans or places that have adopted their brews. I most definitely will be returning when I am in the area again! read more

I have been hearing rave reviews on this cute little spot on Instagram & Facebook. So decided to check it out while playing tourist with a couple of girlfriends. First off its small. Two rooms max, no really artwork or character to the place. White walls, simple light wood furniture and clean lines. I ordered a iced latte.. they had a limited selection of flavor syrup to pick from and only almond milk as an non dairy milk pick... hope you like almonds! lol I watched them make my drink.. cause I like to watch. It was the normal procedure... 2 shots of espresso, 2 shots of vanilla (hazelnut please) and almond milk. My friend got a iced dirty chai nothing special and no special milk like me... Drum Roll... please. Honestly, I tasted more dairy then coffee. I know it was in there but I didn't taste any of it. Same for my friend. She stated that there was a hint of chai but not enough to let you know you were drinking a chai and she couldn't taste any espresso on dairy! So 2 stars NOT because the servers sucked for once. This used to be my go to place to get some work done before Covid. The shop is very small and cute and I used to enjoy working there quite a lot, I am so sad that I am not able to anymore. But regardless, this is one of the best but easy to miss coffee shop. They have varieties of coffee which is all roasted in town! The employee was able to give me information about what it all tasted like and now I always get my ground coffee from here. Coffee shops seem to be everywhere anymore, and while Cup to Cup has your basics and the popular sweet stuff, I decided to get something unique I'd never seen before. I was pumped to see they have almond milk (as an alternative to dairy) but I went with something I'd never heard of! An espresso tonic with cascade hops. It's one of those drinks you either love or you hate, and I loved it! I appreciate places that take risks offering items other than what's socially popular. Great location, small with a counter in the front and a few tables in the back. Great atmosphere to get some work done. The barista, Greg, was super knowledgeable not only about what he was doing but also the area and while I was sitting there enjoying my drink he help customers find what drinks they were looking for and he recommended places to eat, told a couple where to find better parking for next time, and even recommended me a few local attractions as I am not from Savannah. Always extremely helpful to get that above-and-beyond advice when in a town I'm not extremely familiar with. Others seemed to appreciate it as well. I've made it my goal to hit every coffee shop in Savannah, and I finally made it to Cup to Cup. This cafe consists of mainly two rooms; the back room has three tables that can sit 3-4 people and the front room has a couple of bar stools. There were a couple of armchairs also. The barista was very friendly, and the internet and ambiance were great for a working environment. The food selections were limited though. There were only five different baked goods including chocolate croissant, almond pastry, cinnamon rolls and two types of danish. I thought their coffee menu was unique and I tried the coffee tonic since I've never heard of it before. I like coffee and I like tonic water but I'm not sure I liked the combination. There were sips where I was like hmm I could enjoy this and other sips were like golly why did I get this again? Their almond pastry was good but probably better if it could be heated up. read more
