My wife & I ate every single item on our plates. This place is TO DIE for. They had an all male serving team which we both thought was really interesting & they were all wonderful. It was also really interesting how you didn't have one singular server, but instead, they all rotated and checked on you continuously. It was not traditional, but it worked very well. Maybe other restaurants should take note lol! Food was so incredibly fresh, pasta was hot. It was amazing. The only negative about the food is that they don't make their bread or desserts. It was shipped in from a central factory (and you could tell compared to how fresh everything else was). I also wish they had a fountain beverage station. Every drink you'd need to get was in a bottle in a big coke cooler. This place is definitely very small (I think they would benefit from making their shelving areas where they sell their pasta, smaller, and putting in more tables instead). You could also tell there wasn't enough room in the back for the employees because I was waiting in line for the restroom and had to move multiple times because the servers come in and out of there. There's only one little tiny restroom in the back corner. It was also really cool how you could see everything being made in the back. We went to Frali Gourmet for dinner and it surprised me. Entering in, you get this casual-almost family owned vibe. From this I expect some really good food.... We ordered the fettuccine alfredo with chicken and the ziti vodka pasta. Both orders came with some free bread. The vodka pasta was fine. I thought the ziti pasta was a little under cooked, but my girlfriend thinks it was al-dente. Sauce for this pasta was good. The fettuccine was disappointing. The fettuccine pasta was cooked nicely. The alfredo sauce and chicken, however was not flavorful. The alfredo sauce tasted like heavy cream with a hint of parmesan. The chicken was just pan fried chicken. Needed salt, or at least some sauce to coat it. Maggiano's sadly tastes better than this (I hate Maggiano's) The bread... If I was actually Italian, I would've sent that back and ask for nothing. Not sure if this is by choice, but the bread was cold and the sauce that was served with it was cold. Nothing to say here. I enjoy the layout of the restaurant; order at the table and pay up front. Had to search for the meat in a source that I did not enjoy and the pasta itself, which was pretty much the totality of the dish wasn't good--texture or otherwise. Found this place after searching on yelp, lucky double checked the time when I did because they close early (latest to order was 6:30 or 6:45pm). The food was delicious and the prices were very fair especially given the portion size. I order the Almatriciana which I was excited to see on the menu as the few times I have found it in the US it's never been quite as good as in Italy. It was tasty but more like a pasta with red sauce and not really any meat to be found. Everyone else enjoyed their meals too and they offer gluten free pasta which was great. read more

Wow!! Actually a hidden gem! I am a huge pasta lover and was so happy to stumble upon this spot while on vacation. It's a no-frills Italian cafe/market serving fresh pastas/sauces and delicious homemade desserts. I got the gnocchetti with lobster cream sauce, which was absolutely incredible! The pasta was perfect! Al dente with the best bite, and so fun to eat! The sauce was creamy and rich in flavor. Also tried a bite of my sister's pappardelle with saffron cream which was so unique! Incredible pasta! Located on a rather unassuming corner in Savanah, I may have to frequent Savanah more often just to come here! All of the pastas and sauces are incredible. I tried the saffron, a red sauce (not entirely sure which), lobster cream, vodka, and alfredo. Honestly, hard to pick a favorite. Maybe the saffron because it's a flavor I don't see super often and they executed it perfectly. Not too heavy, but still rich and creamy, with a stronger flavor than most other saffron pastas. Teeny tiny complaint: I think my pappardelle was a tad overcooked, but all of the other pastas I tried were nice and al dente. Perhaps this was a one off. We ordered the tiramisu for dessert, and this may be one of the best tiramisus I've had. Not super traditional as it had extra layers, but these additions made elevated this tiramisu above others. I also really liked the red pepper sauce that came with the bread at the start of the meal. Overall, I highly recommend Frali Gourmet. I must return here in the future. read more

One arrived correct, the other was missing meat. The guy at the counter was demanding that we ordered only cheese which was the same cost with or without the meat. This place is amazing! We're spending the holidays in Savannah and happened to stumble across it while looking for a lunch spot. The food was delicious! Authentic and simple with amazing flavor. Let me tell you, I immediately asked the waiter if they sold the sauce. He said they were out for the day but would have more for sale the next day (I will surely be back). I ended up ordering the Build-Your-Own pasta with Fusilli, Vodka Sauce, and added Meatballs. Sooo good!! I also ordered Limoncello Lemon Cake for dessert and it was fantastic! Overall, a truly banner experience! Food and dessert for 4 people was around $90 dollar, which I believe is affordable for great service and food. They also have a store inside the cafe with imported food from Italy and that roasted red pepper sauce. The entire restaurant felt like an intimate, Italian café. Hats off to the chef! Cute spot in Downtown Savannah! Came here for lunch with a group of 6. Service was efficient and very friendly as we were one of the only people dining in at the time. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and was extremely happy. The pasta was fresh and the chicken was so tender. I know everyone likes their pasta different and some get turned off if its too watery or not firm in presentation, but the taste really brought me back to the last time I visited Italy.
