Sold once again in August and kept the name Saffron. The restaurant was empty except for one guest. It's in a large shopping center next to i95 on Gateway Blvd. Menu has changed to include more Indian cuisine dishes. However, due to the lack of customers, some items from the menu are not available, as explained by our waiter. The food is excellent. Well prepared and seasoned. We ordered two Chicken Tikka, vegetables samosas and garlic Naan. The beer Taj was cold and good. The samosas were delicious served with tamarind and mint sauces. They came in plastic containers. The Chicken Tikka came sizzling, large chunks of chicken breast, perfectly seasoned and juicy. This is what they need to improved and do better. Items should be available if it's listed on the menu, the sauces should have been served in ceramic or containers other than plastic take out. Basmati Rice is a staple in all Indian restaurants and served with the dishes. We had to ask for it, and only one small bowl was offered. Other than that the food is good. The service is fine too.
