My mom and I last night had the opportunity to get drinks at the electric moon sky top lounge. My mom got a pineapple high noon and I got the black out 2.0. I believe Jackson was our bartender. He was very nice and made an excellent drink The blackout 2.0 that I had yesterday evening was refreshing and very tasty. At this particular lounge, they do have a second floor that you can take a metal slide from the top floor to the second floor every now and then they do have games out, but it was a little bit chilly so they did close off the outside after we had dinner at the Savannah taco and tequila company we went upstairs for a drink. If you haven't been here, this lounge is located on top of one of the JW Marriott buildings. There is an elevator that takes you straight up to the sixth floor. 10/10 read more

Took an elevator to the Electric Moon Skytop Lounge. There's indoor and outdoor seating that looks out onto the Savannah River. We came for happy hour... their specials were quite disappointing. Filipino Styled Chicken Wings - the listed ingredients held a lot of promise but unfortunately the chili oil made the wings super salty. Service was good. This place is awesome. We showed up ready to party and our bartenders - Cain, Kami, and Dave made it happen. The ambiance is soooo fun and kid friendly and also offers beautiful rooftop views of Savannah. The loaded fries and Cuban empanadas are great bar food options if you need a snack. Initial Reaction: I was up on the rooftop lounge briefly to say hi to my wife and her friend before heading to dinner with the department from the company I work for, as we were there for a staff retreat. The Electric Moon is a fun spot, located on the sixth floor of one of the Savannah Plant buildings at the JW Marriott (I believe)--definitely more of a touristy place, given its location within the hotel. They have fantastic views of the Savannah River from the sixth-floor rooftop (or sky top lounge, as they call it). The cocktails were good. I ordered a spicy one (Can't tell you the name off the top of my head), but it was quality. The service was good, as the server was attentive and made sure we had what we needed. I was only there for 20 minutes or so, but overall, it's a good spot to enjoy river views, especially with all the boats coming and going from the port to the Atlantic. read more

To be honest, I didn't fully experience the potential of this place because we arrived very early in the day, during hours when people were worshipping in churches. I believe it was a Sunday afternoon, but I can tell it's a lively nightlife spot with a lot going on. I had a few drinks here, and they were good. The bartenders were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The outdoor patio near the river was definitely worth checking out. On the opposite side of the bar, there was a turf patio where you could see the street level, play cornhole, and use a slide for adults. If you're looking for a more active experience than just sitting around chatting, this place is a great option. It's definitely one of the gems in the heart of the city, and I highly recommend it. This rating doesn't reflect the overall quality of the place, but it's because I didn't get to experience everything it has to offer. However, whenever I'm back in Savannah, I'll definitely check it out in the middle of the night. I also recommend that anyone visiting Savannah should give it a try. read more

If you want a beautiful view of the river and the bridge crossing it, this is a great place to go. I would strongly suggest coming for the view and to get a drink or two. It looks like it's got an awesome adult relaxation and play area, even including a slide to take you from the top balcony to the bottom one. It looked like it would be a blast to come with friends. I was a little bit disappointed in the food however. The loaded fries definitely did not seem very loaded. They were simply drizzled with a sauce, had some scallions, and had some bacon on them. It definitely wasn't what I expected, and I was kind of shocked there wasn't any cheese.... We got the three pack of sliders and they were also extremely disappointing. The patties tasted very generic and unappetizing. Great place for a drink and view, but skip ordering food! read more

We went around mid afternoon on a Sunday and they had a dj who was a little loud but you could step onto the balcony section and it helped with the volume. Perfect place for a cute rooftop brunch. They gave us a complimentary drink to start off. There's table around the lounge so you can just walk around get what you'd like. I got an omelette that was cooked perfectly and it was the right amount, not too light and not too heavy. I also got prime rib with potatoes and it was cooked perfectly, just melted in your mouth and the potatoes were seasoned just right and crispy outside. The desserts were good but didn't do it for me which is odd because I have a major sweet tooth. I will say the macarons were delightful though. The parfaits were a 4/10 but the fruit and Japanese French toast were probably one of my favorites. I love fruit and it balanced all the savory food I had, and the French toast had a crispy top from the toasted sugar and it was nice and fluffy. I put some whipped cream and chocolate sauce and it was a perfect bite with some strawberries. They also had cocktail shrimp and another customer told us to eat it with the spicy salsa instead of the cocktail sauce and it was a game changer. It was light and refreshing, not too spicy but gave it a nice kick. The shrimp was big , not those skimpy tiny shrimps. Our waitress maya was amazing, fixed us some amazing bottomless mimosas. She even made us our own bottle of pineapple mimosa which was my favorite. This whole experience was a 10/10 for me. Please book a reservation and check it out. If you're looking for an all night experience in Savannah, this is the spot. My partner and I came here on a stormy Thursday, so the outdoor areas were not in use. Still, the vibes here are incredible! You show up to the front door on the ground level, then they throw you in an elevator to get to the bar!The indoor bar is awesome, and they serve food here. I got the 3 Pack of Sliders, and I swear they were the best burgers I had during my week down in Savannah. The employees are great, very nice and catering to any needs. They also frequently walk around to clean up cups and any trash left at tables! All in all, I will absolutely come back again. Keep in mind the prices are pretty high, but definitely worth it. So, we went here purely to use the slide as part of our Savannah scavenger hunt, but decided to some day drinking too. Our bartender TJ was great. The slide is made of metal and sits outside in the sun, which means it burns in the same way you remember from your childhood! There are also some silly spinny chairs and one of those things with the plastic pieces press against your face to form images in, except this one is big enough for you to stand up and do your whole body.
