It's a bar atop Hotel Alisa's roof. Well decorated with sweeping views of the city and has a character to the whole place. The service was friendly and quick. Came here for drinks with some friends. Nice selection of wine. We got the hummus and it came with thick, soft, warm bread. Not a regular flat pita, more like a cross between focaccia and pita. The hummus has a nice kick with some kind of spicy chilis in the center. So if you don't like spice, just don't eat the green chilis. We had to order extra bread because it was so good. read more

The Lost Square is one of my favorite rooftop bars in Savannah that happens to also serve up some delicious Mediterranean food & bar snacks. It's located on top of The Alida hotel (also one of my fave boutique hotels) in the historic River Street district. I've had the chance to visit The Lost Square both during the winter and this past week during the summer. They have a great view of the river and cozy lounge seating, as well as a full bar. The first time I visited was near Christmas and it was freezing outside, but they had a burning fireplace and the cutest little enclosed glass houses you could sit in to enjoy your drinks. During my recent visit, we had our 1 yr old son with us and decided to have dinner there and enjoy the weather. I had the Valencian Spritz (reposado, orange aperitif wine, fresh orange, white pepper, and cava) which was the perfect summer drink. My husband had the Soft Light mocktail (zero proof gin, papaya, kefir, and saline). For food, we started with the Labneh dip topped with olive oil, za'atar, and honey with fresh pitas on the side. Wow, this has got to be the best pita I've ever had. They were so fluffy, warm, and well seasoned. We even got a second order. The labneh dip was phenomenal -- highly recommend for an appetizer or just a snack. We also shared to the falafel bites and the Alida Burger which was very tasty! We'll definitely be back for another visit the next time we're in Savannah! read more

Dog friendly, great views, attentive service. The menu is a bit short so you are more up here for the social atmosphere and entertainment. The server seemed annoyed that we asked for the happy hour menu, was initially okay but after serving one drink, just forgot about us. The Lost Square is a really cute spot for a ladies night or stop for a drink. The views are amazing! The decor is super cute and classic. I have had a few things on the food menu and they are so-so. The lost square saved my friend's bachelorette party! They were one of the only places that opened their doors during the snowpacalypse. I don't have many photos but the food was amazing and the drinks were great too! Great service from Melvin and the other bartenders! First impression that the ambiance is amazing. Fun yurts (it seems they must be booked in advance), ski items, blankets everywhere. Heaters and soft lighting make it feel like a warm embrace on a rooftop. A big turn off... being asked for a credit card before we've even received any food. Maybe I look like I'm going to dine and dash? Is that a Savannah thing? That should be on a sign somewhere. Also, the heaters were not on when we visited and it was a chilly night. The server called someone to turn them on but they never came. The food was amazing! Everything was delicious, but the falafel bites were the best. Perfect texture and flavor. The patatas bravas and the dip platter are also must haves. I love a rooftop in the fall, but the heaters have to be working. read more

We loved The Lost Square! The shareable plates were tapas-like and delicious. We really loved the manchego grilled cheese sandwich and the Calabrian chili buffalo wings with a labneh sauce. It was a rainy night but the space was still cozy and exciting at the same time with its open walls. The giant container ships passing by in the dark were a fun highlight! Our bartender Luis from Mexico City is exceptionally skilled and well-trained in the art of the cocktail. The Lost Square is truly a beautiful rooftop and great for drinks and hanging with friends. However I cannot recommend their food at all. I tried their Fritto Misto which was suppose to contain shrimp and cauliflower plus some pickled peppers but instead it was all pickled peppers and one shrimp and one cauliflower. My friend said the Alida burger tasted like it was from a fast food joint. Our server on Monday night was borderline rude and looked like he did not want to be there. I would eat elsewhere and come to the rooftop for drinks only. read more

We had such a fantastic time at the Alpine Village at The Lost Square! The whole place is decorated beautifully, it really feels like stepping into an après-ski lodge. The seasonal drinks were delicious, and the fondue was absolutely incredible. We also loved the Spanish-inspired dishes, especially the patatas bravas and the manchego grilled cheese, both were standout favorites. The highlight of our day was our server, Luis. From the moment we arrived, he was warm, attentive, and so knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot on and made our experience even better. The Lost Square was our second stop as we explored Savannah's cocktail bars, and a super memorable experience. The rooftop had a nice ambiance, with plenty of seating in both the sun and shade. It wasn't very busy on a Saturday afternoon, but we found it easier to just order at the bar, rather than wait for table service. I was immediately fascinated by the Yamas! cocktail, which was made with Hendrick's, Mastiha, Greek Yogurt, Lemon, and Honey. I asked the bartender if it was good and after he gave me an enthusiastic yes, I went for it. It ended up being delicious and one of the most unique drinks I've tried in my life. The flavor was mostly savory and it was also deceptively strong. My friend said her Doctor's Orders mocktail was also very good. Overall, worth the visit! read more

Liked this place so much we went back for a second time on our short vacation in Savannah. Sat at the bar both times but the tables by the fire looked inviting too! My fiancé and I ate here with our pup and it was absolutely amazing!! The space had spots both in the shade and in the sun for those nice non hot days. The service was impeccable we weren't bothered too much or too little. My fiancé actually said the burger that he got was the best burger he has ever had which is huge for him because he is the pickiest eater known to man. I was thoroughly surprised by the flavors of all of the food we got. I absolutely loved the drinks we got as well and the best part of it all is this rooftop bar is pet friendly! Anywhere that I can bring my dog along is always a good time. That coupled with the good drinks and good food definitely made for a great time overall.
