Wings were very mid. Nothing special about them. Too overly spicy and not flavorful. Also don't order the Spanish Bikini. It's literally a simple, plain ham and cheese sandwich you can make at home. Overly priced for both. Come here for the drinks and views. Not the food. read more

We we're in town for a family event. I needed to take a break and we googled and found this gem. We arrive when a hot day went up to the rooftop. Found a decent spot to sit overlooking downtown historic Savannah. Ordered a few drinks and some finger food. Everything was delicious. The drinks were on point and they have a picture of ice cold water at the end of the bar For free Water. We will definitely be revisiting this establishment again. read more

Rooftop bar. Not bad. Small space so I can see it getting slammed rather quickly. Husbands drink was great! He got the Broken Funny Bone. I got the Monkey Fist and it was pretty bad. We got the Bass Ceviche which was delicious, just crazy expensive. This place was a one and done for me. read more

Great view. Great food. Great cocktails. Great service. A lot of hotel bars phone it in based on a captive audience. A lot of rooftop bars phone it in based on the novelty of it. We arrived around 2 pm on a very cold Sunday but (I'm guessing because of the weather) the Lost Square was completely empty and we had our choice of seats - so we snagged the chairs right next to the firepit (PERFECT)! They also had ceiling heaters at the bar, which was a comfortable spot, too. The cushy seats were actually pretty uncomfortable when we first sat down (there's a huge bar in the middle of them - sit with caution!). None of the cocktails particularly appealed to me at first, either. But I ended up with the Hot Apple Cider and it was hands down the best spiked cider I've ever had. It's definitely butter-washed, which gave it the depth and body that I feel is usually lacking in hot cider cocktails. Party also ordered two other cocktails from the menu and everyone was impressed with their drinks. Clearly, their bartenders/mixologists know what they're doing and I was more impressed with this drink than any other of the weekend. If we didn't have a flight to catch, I could have spent all afternoon up there! The waitstaff was attentive but also chill, and it looked like they had some good snacks as well. read more

The best place to visit while in Savannah. The Lost Square is a hidden gem. It's located on the top floor of the Alida hotel is open to everyone, not just hotel guests - big plus! The views are AMAZING! Get here early to get a spot; the chairs (which are so comfy) are a bit limited (maybe COVID), and then wait for the sunset; it will be epic. The drinks are delicious and very reasonably priced for the location. This is the perfect after-dinner place to visit for a date night, a night out with friends, or just by yourself to take in the views. read more

We stayed in The Alida so decided to go up for a drink one night. We saw the beautiful sunset and the drinks were good. It was a bit chilly but all the heat lamps were going. You can bring drinks back to your room from any bar of the hotel. read more

What a wonderful bar experience during COVID times. It is a breath of fresh air that this place is able to operate adequately. The Lost Square has been able to adapt to COVID times. It's a very cute atmosphere but the appetizers were point blank just not good. I got the wings and they somehow tasted as you'd expect crayons to taste. My partner got a lamb burger it was ok- cooked well but not a great meal. Anyways, wouldn't go back for food. (We stayed at the Alida and got a voucher to use for food which can only be used here or the Rhett. Rhett is better food and value unless you just want to spend it on drinks and enjoy the rooftop!) read more

The only reason I don't give this more stars is because I only had one drink and didn't stay long. All and all it was a wonderful place to get together and have drinks with your friends. I would like to go back when it's a bit colder outside and enjoy the fireplace and not when it's 100 degrees outside. A beautiful rooftop lounge at the Alida's. All of our drinks were AMAZING. The cutest thing was the fake snow that kept falling every few minutes. They had two tents set up for a $65/pp dinner setup which seemed super cool from the inside. Overall highly recommend this place for a laidback evening at a cozy rooftop. read more

A nice comfortable rooftop lounge. There is lots of seating and most of it is covered so you aren't in the sun. They offer a nice variety of cocktails and beers and a small menu of food. We started with the summer dip appetizer which is hummus, fried pita chips, assorted vegetables and tzatziki sauce. Since it was July 4th, they had all beef hot dogs as a special. I had mine with minced red onions, cheese, tomatoes and horseradish aioli. Delicious! It was nice and relaxing here. Nice music and it was good to get away from the crowds. The Lost Square and Alpine Village at the Alida Hotel provided a delightful experience. The food was delicious, drinks were great and service was excellent. The rooftop yurt, designed like a ski lodge, offers an intimate setting. The rooftop bar right outside the yurts is first come first serve and boasts beautiful scenery, heaters for colder days, and live music, making it a well-rounded and enjoyable venue. A friendly reminder to adhere to reservation times for the Alpine Village Experience as there's a 90 minute reservation time and if you do not leave at the requested time, someone is waiting right outside the yurts and it throws everyone's reservation off and it's not only inconvenient for the guests but also the wait staff because they need to reset the yurt before you can be seated, which includes cleaning, sanitizing, new candles, blankets, etc. Recommend the Port City Spritz, which may be my new favorite drink, the ceviche, cheddar drop biscuits and the fried chicken. Make sure and add the S'mores bar as a final treat! The food was seriously my favorite part. Overall a great experience and I look forward to seeing what the Lost Square has next year for the holidays. read more

We discovered an amazing rooftop spot called The Lost Square, located on top of the Alida Hotel in Savannah. The views of the river and the city skyline are absolutely stunning -- it's the perfect place to relax and take in the scenery. The space is thoughtfully designed with a nice mix of covered areas for shade, as well as open spots for enjoying the sun. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even better. The drink menu offers a great selection of craft cocktails, wine, and beers, and the light tapas-style menu pairs perfectly with the laid-back, upscale atmosphere. Prices are reasonable for the quality and location, and while it's definitely a bit upscale, it manages to avoid feeling overly touristy, which can be hard to find in Savannah. We had such an amazing experience at Alpine Village, especially thanks to Kat. From the moment we arrived, she was welcoming, attentive, and made the entire yurt experience feel seamless and special. The yurt itself was cozy, warm, and such a fun, unique setting. Kat checked in at all the right moments, explained everything clearly, and made sure our group was comfortable the entire time. Easy access to the elevator from the lobby to get to the rooftop. It's a smaller rooftop space and when we went on a Saturday evening (6:15pm, 3 people) it was self seating. They did a good job with the space for sure. Now for the actual experience....we sat ourselves as indicated and servers saw us choosing a table but it was about 15-20 min before anyone even approached our table and the server asked if we had been helped yet and when we said no, asked if we were ready to order. But we hadn't even been given a menu so we requested menus and waters as it was a warm day. She brought back one menu for the three of us and some lukewarm waters. Which fine it's water and we were thirsty. We ordered a round of drinks and four appetizer plates altogether. Drink wise we ordered a Harbor Rose, A Rosenbrook and a Peach of Mind. The Harbor Rose and Rosenbrook were excellent. The Peach of Mind was just okay. Food wise we ordered the Charcuterie Plate, Crispy Fries, Crispy Mozzarella and Whipped Goat Cheese Tartine. DO NOT ORDER THE CHARCUTERIE PLATE. For $26 we received a very sad looking plate of minimal cheese and bread. The picture is included. No preserves were included as the menu indicated, the bread was not toasted as indicated, no cornichons were included as indicated, it was definitely not a $26 plate at all. We asked our server about it when she came by to check and she sighed like she'd been hearing the same complaint multiple times. She did bring us some more cheese and bread to attempt to fix it but even then it was just dry cheese and bread. The crispy fries came out cold and not fresh like they'd been sitting out for a while and then under the heat lamp even though the cheese sauce was warm so I think they premade the fries and left them sitting out way too long to maintain freshness. We sent them back to the kitchen to be remade and when they came back the fries were fresh but the portion was smaller and the egg was cold so no real win there. The cheese and egg yolk did all the lifting flavor wise the fries didn't even seem salted. The crispy mozzarella wasn't terrible but again it had been sitting under the lamp ready to come out for too long so the cheese wasn't super melty anymore and was thick. It wasn't all the way cold and didn't taste terrible lukewarm so we didn't send it back, but if it had been at the proper temp it probably would have been fantastic as the breading was fresh and crispy and the sauce with it good and who doesn't love a giant mozzarella stick. The goat cheese Tartine was the standout of the starters, my only note would be that one huge piece of sourdough bread was hard to cut and share. Luckily being a cold dish we didn't have temp issues. The intent was to have a few rounds of drinks and food but after the first we decided to just continue our night elsewhere. When we ordered we clearly specified we were on separate checks and what belonged on each check. But when we asked for checks at the end of the night it was all on one. Not wanting to spend another 20 min waiting for it to be fixed we just asked her to split it evenly three ways on our cards and she acted like that was the biggest inconvenience ever. In summary, it's a beautiful space with good drinks and good bartenders but sadly lacking in good service and food delivery. Now they are new so they might still be figuring things out but there are definitely a few things to solve before I'd dine there again. I thought perhaps the kitchen was too far but no, there's a kitchen for the rooftop inside the space right across from the bar, so that wasn't it. If I were to return anytime soon, it would only be to sit at the bar and order a drink.

We visited Saturday 7/4/26 and the place was lively but not packed, we were able to grab a table in the front by their beautiful windows facing Broughton st. Shorty and Josh treated us wonderfully with incredible service, we never felt like we were inconveniencing them with requests if questions. We ordered a dozen oysters (James River), caviar & chicharrones, the hot dog special, a glass of J. Laurens Blanquette de Limoux and a Mignonette Martini. Wow! Everything was phenomenal! Caleb, the chef, really knows what he's doing and you can tell him and David, the bartender, collaborate on the menu. The oysters come with a perfectly balanced pink peppercorn mignonette which is also used in the martini (must try!!). I've never tried chicharrones and caviar before but will definitely be pairing them together again after this. The hot dog was by far the dark horse, we ordered it partly as a novelty as it is their special. Caleb designed it after a low country boil; pimento cheese slathered in the bottom of the buttered and toasted brioche bun, hot dog perfectly grilled and topped with shrimp, corn, red onions, peppers and steamed potato slices sandwiched between the dog and the bread.
