Located on the top of the Alida hotel, this is another addition to the rooftop bar scene in Savannah with the view of the river and the bridge. It was a little chilly when I went there so they had the heat lamp and fire place on, which was nice and the place felt cozy. They have some appetizers, wine, beer and shots on the happy hour menu (Monday to Friday from 4-6pm) however, no cocktails. I hope they add some cocktails to it soon.* *the bartender was super nice and charged me twice the price of the shot (shot price on the happy hour menu, $2 each) and made me a cocktail with the shot for $4. I tried the Brown derby cocktail, it was refreshing and is similar to an old fashioned but with grapefruit flavor. We also tried the Chicken mousse and it was delicious! They also gave us complementary bread with ricotta cheese, which was perfect with the Merlot. I will definitely be back for another happy hour or a night out in the town. read more

Maybe they were having an off night? I ordered the monkey fist cocktail and it arrived with no ice and no garnish, just a glass of liquid. The pimento app was good though. Our server's timing was weird too - when we finished ordering she asked if we wanted to keep the tab open or close it out, and when we said close, just brought us our check before we even received our drinks. Everything just felt kinda wonky. The ambiance was great though - it's a good spot to catch the sunset. read more

Nice vibe! They have a sunset hour from 6-8 which was a welcome surprise. Was raining that day but they had a lot of covered seating and even trivia going on. Next time we're in town I'd check into staying at the hotel too. read more

My friend and I wanted a nightcap and thought it would be fun to try a rooftop bar while visiting Savannah. We were greeted right away when we walked in and told to sit where we'd like. Seeing as how we wanted the rooftop experience, we chose to sit by the open window area. Based on other reviews, people seem to like this place but the service on the night we went was terrible. It took over 10 minutes for someone to come by with menus (there were only about 5 other people in there besides us and 2 people working). They seemed to only want to engage with people sitting at the bar so we moved over there to get service. The wine I had was meh at best. Unfortunately it just wasn't a great experience. read more

The Lost Square is an awesome rooftop addition to downtown/River Street area! Not only is it a large space, there is tons of seating and little areas to cozy away. I had the Service Brewing Alida Harper - which was fantastic. Brewed especially for the Alida hotel! The views are different than the other rooftops nearby, which is refreshing. And the bartender, Melvin, was super friendly and provided awesome service. Will definitely return for a drink or two in the future! read more

I went to the lost square a few times while staying at the Alida hotel and it was super fun! Definitely awesome spot and it exceeded my expectations! Not only can you have a nice cocktail with a fantastic view of the city, but the people are super fun and it's so lively! The bartenders are friendly and very knowledgeable. They can make almost any drink. On Saturday night they had a fantastic DJ who played everything! Something for the younger crowd and older crowd, genres ranging from reggae to hip hop to 80s pop! I danced all night and was sad when it was over. Much better than going to a sweaty, smelly club any day. Loved it here! read more

Decent hotel bar, the locals call it Wayfair bc of fun decor. Very small downstairs bar inside with a few cubby holes and outdoor patio. Rooftop bar is nice. Spacious with gas fireplace. Fun to stop in for a slower setting from time to time. Good place for conversations. read more

Worth finding, but hopefully not everyone as we enjoyed having some space to relax. Our bartender was awesome finding a drink for my wife and keeping up with orders while being engaging. Nice views of the city and some of the water with plenty of seating options - bar, lounge, tables, igloo. We will definitely make it back to the roof top on our next Savannah excursion. read more

I finally had the opportunity to visit the Lost Square. It was a slightly humid nice with a nice breeze. I had a dry cider ale for $6. The space is eel designed. There's plenty of room to view the river or the city. There is ample seating at the bar and low couches for an intimate setting or with a group. I was surprised by the amount of concrete and less decoration. There was music playing from a speaker and sometimes they have live music. The menu is pretty simple too with a limited food, beer, wine, and cocktail menu. It was ok but I think other rooftops have more to offer that appeal to the senses. read more

We came at a pretty off time-around 3:30p on a Thursday-so we had the space to ourselves. The bartender was great! Made us things off the menu based on what we said we like & they were good. The main appeal of this place, though, is the space itself. Perched high atop the brand new Aldina Hotel, The Lost Square is a great addition to the rooftop bar scene in Savannah. On my several visits, the service has been spot on, friendly but not overbearing. Some of the other rooftop bars in this city should take some notes on service. The drinks have always been expertly mixed with a nice heavy pour. I love the Ricky and G&T. Seating is very comfortable with a great fireplace in the middle of the bar. read more

The Lost Square has become my go-to for drinks out. It's comfortable and there is a pretty fire place in the middle to keep you warm. There are also plenty of heat lamps too. The service is attentive. There's usually a crowd, but it has never been unbearably crowded during my visits. The cocktails are always well made and delicious. The views are not the best you can find (although still very pretty), but the ambience here far surpasses all of the other local rooftops. read more

We heard we needed to check out the Alida on our next trip. We arrived kind of early on a Friday and didn't have much of a wait like we are used to with the other rooftop bars nearby. Overall, service was ok and the space is nice but nothing outstanding. It was nice to be able to find a seat and relax, some of the other rooftop bars can get a bit intense and loud. If you're looking for a great cocktail, there are better in the area but none with as spectacular a view. read more

Great outside space!! The food menu left a little to be desired BUT we went there for drinks and those were excellent. The chai vodka drink was really delicious. Even with the rain, there was plenty of dry warm space for us. Definitely plan to go back! read more

The music was so good and the entire bar was quietly singing along and boppin their heads to a backdrop of Britney, Mandy Moore, Backstreet Boys, NSYNC... we loved every second of it. We discovered an amazing rooftop spot called The Lost Square, located on top of the Alida Hotel in Savannah. The views of the river and the city skyline are absolutely stunning -- it's the perfect place to relax and take in the scenery. The space is thoughtfully designed with a nice mix of covered areas for shade, as well as open spots for enjoying the sun. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even better. The drink menu offers a great selection of craft cocktails, wine, and beers, and the light tapas-style menu pairs perfectly with the laid-back, upscale atmosphere. Prices are reasonable for the quality and location, and while it's definitely a bit upscale, it manages to avoid feeling overly touristy, which can be hard to find in Savannah. We had such an amazing experience at Alpine Village, especially thanks to Kat. From the moment we arrived, she was welcoming, attentive, and made the entire yurt experience feel seamless and special. The yurt itself was cozy, warm, and such a fun, unique setting. Kat checked in at all the right moments, explained everything clearly, and made sure our group was comfortable the entire time. Easy access to the elevator from the lobby to get to the rooftop. It's a smaller rooftop space and when we went on a Saturday evening (6:15pm, 3 people) it was self seating. They did a good job with the space for sure. Now for the actual experience....we sat ourselves as indicated and servers saw us choosing a table but it was about 15-20 min before anyone even approached our table and the server asked if we had been helped yet and when we said no, asked if we were ready to order. But we hadn't even been given a menu so we requested menus and waters as it was a warm day. She brought back one menu for the three of us and some lukewarm waters. Which fine it's water and we were thirsty. We ordered a round of drinks and four appetizer plates altogether. Drink wise we ordered a Harbor Rose, A Rosenbrook and a Peach of Mind. The Harbor Rose and Rosenbrook were excellent. The Peach of Mind was just okay. Food wise we ordered the Charcuterie Plate, Crispy Fries, Crispy Mozzarella and Whipped Goat Cheese Tartine. DO NOT ORDER THE CHARCUTERIE PLATE. For $26 we received a very sad looking plate of minimal cheese and bread. The picture is included. No preserves were included as the menu indicated, the bread was not toasted as indicated, no cornichons were included as indicated, it was definitely not a $26 plate at all. We asked our server about it when she came by to check and she sighed like she'd been hearing the same complaint multiple times. She did bring us some more cheese and bread to attempt to fix it but even then it was just dry cheese and bread. The crispy fries came out cold and not fresh like they'd been sitting out for a while and then under the heat lamp even though the cheese sauce was warm so I think they premade the fries and left them sitting out way too long to maintain freshness. We sent them back to the kitchen to be remade and when they came back the fries were fresh but the portion was smaller and the egg was cold so no real win there. The cheese and egg yolk did all the lifting flavor wise the fries didn't even seem salted. The crispy mozzarella wasn't terrible but again it had been sitting under the lamp ready to come out for too long so the cheese wasn't super melty anymore and was thick. It wasn't all the way cold and didn't taste terrible lukewarm so we didn't send it back, but if it had been at the proper temp it probably would have been fantastic as the breading was fresh and crispy and the sauce with it good and who doesn't love a giant mozzarella stick. The goat cheese Tartine was the standout of the starters, my only note would be that one huge piece of sourdough bread was hard to cut and share. Luckily being a cold dish we didn't have temp issues. The intent was to have a few rounds of drinks and food but after the first we decided to just continue our night elsewhere. When we ordered we clearly specified we were on separate checks and what belonged on each check. But when we asked for checks at the end of the night it was all on one. Not wanting to spend another 20 min waiting for it to be fixed we just asked her to split it evenly three ways on our cards and she acted like that was the biggest inconvenience ever. In summary, it's a beautiful space with good drinks and good bartenders but sadly lacking in good service and food delivery. Now they are new so they might still be figuring things out but there are definitely a few things to solve before I'd dine there again. I thought perhaps the kitchen was too far but no, there's a kitchen for the rooftop inside the space right across from the bar, so that wasn't it. If I were to return anytime soon, it would only be to sit at the bar and order a drink.

Especially because I was getting excellent service from the server!!! I've always had quality service from servers here. In the future, I would come to Rhett for convenience as a hotel guest (the hotel is lovely), but would likely not spend my money if I wasn't staying at the hotel. The sign out front said $1 oysters 12-2 and we immediately said yes. We visited Saturday 7/4/26 and the place was lively but not packed, we were able to grab a table in the front by their beautiful windows facing Broughton st. Shorty and Josh treated us wonderfully with incredible service, we never felt like we were inconveniencing them with requests if questions. We ordered a dozen oysters (James River), caviar & chicharrones, the hot dog special, a glass of J. Laurens Blanquette de Limoux and a Mignonette Martini. Wow! Everything was phenomenal! Caleb, the chef, really knows what he's doing and you can tell him and David, the bartender, collaborate on the menu. The oysters come with a perfectly balanced pink peppercorn mignonette which is also used in the martini (must try!!). I've never tried chicharrones and caviar before but will definitely be pairing them together again after this. The hot dog was by far the dark horse, we ordered it partly as a novelty as it is their special. Caleb designed it after a low country boil; pimento cheese slathered in the bottom of the buttered and toasted brioche bun, hot dog perfectly grilled and topped with shrimp, corn, red onions, peppers and steamed potato slices sandwiched between the dog and the bread. Caleb even took the time to come out of the kitchen to come over and say hello. Don't sleep on Joe & Vera's! Not a single complaint to be had.
