I really wanted to love Bitty & Beau's Coffee in Savannah. I mean really wanted to. This place is rocking a 4.8-star rating, so I walked in excited, optimistic, and fully prepared to join the chorus of praise. Expectations were high. Possibly unfairly high. But still... high. I ordered a latte with vanilla. First, the good news: the coffee temperature was solid. Not scorching, not sad and lukewarm. So far, so good. Then came the flavor. Or more accurately, the absence of flavor. The vanilla apparently decided not to show up to work that day. I don't know if it called in sick, got lost, or was added in spirit only, but I couldn't find it no matter how hard I looked. This latte tasted like espresso that once heard about vanilla from a friend of a friend. Now let's talk texture. A latte should be creamy, smooth, comforting. This one was thin and oddly textured, the kind of mouthfeel that makes you pause mid-sip and wonder if you accidentally ordered something experimental. I wasn't expecting a surprise quiz in my cup, but here we are. I tried. I really did. I wanted to talk myself into a higher rating. But when both flavor and texture are off, there's nowhere to hide. And to make matters worse, this confusion in a cup came with a $7.17 price tag. Paying over seven dollars for a latte that left me disappointed just adds insult to injury. That's not "maybe it was an off day" pricing. That's "this better be excellent" pricing. So I'm landing at two stars in good conscience. A big letdown considering the glowing reviews and the expectations they set. I walked in excited and walked out wondering if my coffee and I were even on the same wavelength. I truly hope this was just an off moment, because based on the hype, this place can clearly do better. Unfortunately, today's latte did not get that memo.
Bitty & Beau's was a place that spoke to my heart. I've been planning to open a business similar for my son with Down syndrome. Love the vibe and the flow. Simple and efficient.
This cafe is right in the downtown area. The coffee and service were good, and I love the mission of Bitty and Beau's.
Had a wonderful visit to Bitty & Beau's Coffee. The service was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. The coffee was great, but what made the experience truly special was knowing we were supporting such a meaningful mission. It feels good to enjoy a cup of coffee while backing a business that promotes inclusion, dignity, and opportunity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A feel-good experience all around--I'll definitely be back.
The concept alone of this wonderful coffee shop that supports individuals with disabilities is so wonderful, but the coffee and adorably decorated shop were amazing as well. I had an iced chai latte, absolutely yummy, the service was great as well. I loved learning about their businesses concept while enjoying my coffee.
This is a perfectly quiet and comfy coffee spot in the heart of Savannah. I love their mission of being a human rights movement disguised as a coffee shop! The service is exceptional and the heart of their team members comes through everything they do! If you care about people and want to contribute to making a difference, stop in Bitty & Beau's! They have a worthy story that you can be a part of!
We found this place by accident when we were on the hunt for our morning coffee. It wasn't until we got to the door that we realized we had seen this shop on GMA for the amazing connection they have with the community! We were greeted at the front desk by a lovely gentleman who was super helpful with our drink orders since it was our first time here. He took our order fast and efficiently. I ordered a vanilla latte, iced and my husband ordered a cold brew with caramel and oat milk also iced. Both tasted amazing. I'm so glad we put our money here to support a local business.
Really cute coffee shop! Love the matcha latte and the rice crispy I assumed it was made in house with it in the case. However, it was pre packaged. Still a delicious treat and a nice place to hang out! Service was good and fast! It's an order at the counter coffee shop.

A great coffee shop supporting inclusive workspaces for people with disabilities and special needs. I have been coming here since they opened about 5 years ago. It has a great location just around the corner from City Market. They have a good selection of caffeinated drinks, hot, cold, iced, and blended. They don't seem to have the lemonade anymore I saw in other reviews so the non-caffeine options would be hot chocolate or smoothies. All the frappes are made with regular milk and whip on top, so if you have issues with dairy, make sure to ask for almond milk or their other alternative (can't remember if it's soy or oatmilk). The Java chip one was a hit with my mom. My dad and I got strawberry smoothies. These are non-dairy smoothies. They make them with ice and flavor concentrate. These were very refreshing after walking around all day! We all loved the inspirational messages on the cups and their use of playing cards to call order numbers. You can also purchase lots of merchandise that says "radically inclusive" and other supporting messages. My mom was really happy to get the mug version. Next time: I may try one of their frappes or pastry case snacks!
Located off of Congress Street in the city market area this quaint little spot is perfect if you want to mingle with friendly staff and enjoy a hot/cold coffee or tea. This cafe is mainly employed by individuals with disabilities so patience's is needed if you are extra detailed when it comes to how you like your drink. It's a little different than your typical coffee spot. Instead of asking for your name they give you a solitary card and that's what they call out when your order is ready and each cup has a cute quote from a movie in it. The menu is very simple which makes it easy for whomever is making your drink.

This location has been featured on several news broadcast, including CNN and good morning America because they're not only serving great coffee but they're serving hope and inspiration to hundreds of people who experience their hospitality. When you enter into their coffee shops, you'll not find a typical student worker who is just trying to get by. Instead, you'll find workers with unique differences who have found a way to contribute to society in their own way. We absolutely adored talking with Jonah when we were placing our order and then later, talking to him about his love of Star Wars and the Shrek movies. We were so impressed with his genuine kindness, but also just his want to have a conversation. You truly are treated like family when you come into this location. My husband opted for a 16 ounce regular coffee and I got the 12 ounce chai tea latte. The chai is delicious and there is an option if you want to add additional flavorings to either your coffee and or your tea, I chose to keep mine generic to just strictly Chai. We also opted for the cinnamon roll, which we found to be very delicious, although a little sweet for our liking. The coffee was very strong, but perfect for the pick me up in the morning when you need it. those true coffee drinkers will love their coffee! If you find yourself in the Savannah area, make it a point to go and check out this location. You'll be incredibly happy that you did.

They were right around the corner from our Air BNB so I went and got me and my girlfriends some coffee. I got their cold brew with sugar free syrup and they had half and half available. My friend got matcha with oat milk and toasted marshmallow syrup and a white chocolate mocha for her wife. All the drinks were really good and I love how quick they were to make the drinks. It was a pretty good experience. They were on the bit pricey side, her matcha was about $7-8 so I'm not sure if that would be a go to but for something quick and simple, I wouldn't mind it. read more

Every now and then I find myself at one of these businesses with a social mission, which generally makes me feel good inside, but I still evaluate them as I would any other comparable business. Here, I got an iced chai mixed up in a minute or so (they nonetheless felt compelled to give me a card to be called out for pickup even though I was the only one there at the time). Their version of chai had plenty of flavor, albeit perhaps a bit too much ice. They had baked goods for sale, but I had other plans. The map with pins from various visitors was an impressive sight. The drink was good, but not amazing. I wish them well; maybe I'll find a way back here or to another location as apparently there are quite a few. read more

Bitty and Beau's is a wonderful coffee spot in Savannah. This was my first time in. I have been meaning to go by for a while. I am happy to say my experience was lovely. It is an open concept. You will walk in and it is nice not to feel crowded. As some coffee shops can be at times. There is some bar seating and tables too. If it gets busy seating will be at a premium. The service was excellent. I ordered a small iced latte with oat milk and the spiced brown sugar syrup. The espresso to non-diary ratio was perfect. I loved the syrup flavor! Next time I will ask for one less pump or two, because I tend to like my lattes less sweet. Note: there are two drink sizes here small and large. You will be given a playing card when you place an order. This is unique and I enjoyed it. When your order is ready your card will be called out instead of your name. I will be back to try another iced latte soon! read more

This coffee spot was right around the corner from our Airbnb and it was so convenient. We ordered two caramel iced lattes and an egg and chorizo burrito. The lattes were out fairly quickly and were very tasty and well balanced. The egg and chorizo burrito was a prepackaged burrito that was heated but it was full of flavor. I was not expecting it to have rice and corn inside of it; and it was definitely a delightful surprise. I wish they had some hot sauce available but that's just a personal preference. The staff was very welcoming. We were greeted as we walked in and everyone was polite. I'm not sure if this is the norm, but when we went it seemed as though their AC unit was out and it was hot and stuffy inside. We made it to Bitty & Beau's a couple of times over our weekend trip. read more

Cute little coffee shop with modern interior. The matcha latte was a bit on the watery side but still pretty good and the coffee came piping hot. The bagel was light, airy, and toasted to a nice crisp on the edges (and it came with some cream cheese). Everything came out quickly and the staff is super nice! read more

I instantly felt a good vibe when I entered the coffee shop. Everyone from customers to staff was smiling. The mocha latte was delicious and no long wait despite the line of customers. I love the idea of beautiful minded (folks with disabilities) people working here!! We all have some sort of disability some seen and unseen. We had such a good time that I forgot to take a picture of everyone in my group drink until we were all finished and leaving out the door. This concept alone will make this a 'go to' when I return to Savannah Ga. read more

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Such a great place to sit and get some coffee and chat with friends! Love that they employee special needs individuals! I ordered a coffee with oat milk and sugar free caramel! Highly recommend stopping by here when you visit Savannah!! They also have cute memorabilia!! Finally, they are pet friendly and treated my dog like a kind and provided him treats!! read more

Love stopping by any and all Bitty & Beau's coffee shops when a city has one. Love the staff and their mission. We got a blended hot chocolate to share and it was delicious!! Shop is modern and clean. Fun products to purchase to help support their teams also. read more
