I have been watching The Clyde's Instagram for some time and could not wait to stop in to try one of there drinks. I had the chance to try the fruity pebbles matcha and it was delicious. It was the perfect mix of creamy and sweet, but not super sweet. This is the perfect spot to stop in for a coffee, lunch or to study. It was pretty quiet when I stopped in. The only downside is the parking, the lot is for SCAD and there's limited street parking available. I didn't try any food, but I can't wait to return for a bowl. The coffee shop itself is nicely designed. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not quite live up to the atmosphere. I asked the cashier if the barista could make a Breve, which was not listed on the menu. The cashier was unfamiliar with the drink, so I showed a reference photo on my phone. She checked with the barista and confirmed it could be made, the cashier then told me the drink was essentially a cappuccino made with half-and-half. I didn't feel like educating the cashier as there was a long line behind me. What I ultimately received was a cappuccino with steamed half-and-half rather than a proper Breve with a foamed head. In addition, the staff were not especially welcoming or helpful during the interaction. In a city like Savannah, where hospitality is part of the charm, the service felt a bit disappointing. Overall, the space is nice, but the quality of service and drink knowledge did not match the presentation. read more

Coffee is very good, workers are nice. The problem is I have a blood sugar issue like many people and I really thought I was being smart to pass on the motel donuts and get something healthy. Boy did I get the wrong thing on the menu. I knew there would be peanut butter and nutella adding some sugar but I didnt count on it sitting on a bowl full of something much like hersheys syrup. this is one of those places that is hidden in plain sight. Passed about 1 million times before I realized it wasn't a bar, It was a coffee shop in an event venue really fun seasonal menu and my drink was phenomenal. Parking is not awful off that side. read more

I was at the Clyde for a Savannah Wedding Events New Year's Eve party, and this was the venue that sponsored the event! It was made up beautifully for any event or wedding. They had plenty of room for food and even dancing. Seeing how they would have set up for a wedding compared to another event was fun. I have come here multiple times for different events; each time, it was set up differently, which is always fun to see. The staff was friendly, and the bar had plenty of options for us. read more

I was extremely disappointed with the food I got for what I paid. An açaí bowl here costs 15 dollars, and for that you get basically an 8 oz cup that is only filled halfway with açaí. I was completely misled by the picture on the menu, that made the bowl appear larger, and worth 15 dollars. There was an absurd amount of peanut butter and nutella, almost equally the amount of açaí. The bowl also appears premade, and still took forever to be served. Complete waste of money. read more

This is a super cute little coffee shop. By the name and walking by and looking in I wasn't sure what this place is so I decided to go in one day. They have coffee, teas and smoothies as well as food and pastries. I like that they offer seasonal drinks. I have ordered the turmeric drink hot a few times. It's nice to have a drink option with no caffeine. The place is much larger than it looks from the outside. There are all of these large round tables that would be perfect for groups. This place is so nice and is such a large place! I decide to make my own smoothie with oat milk, strawberries and bananas and almond butter. The employee was kind and helpful. I told her I needed to go to the restroom so I would not be here when she called my name and she said do not worry I will give it to you when you get back! I was so amazed by the large space with so many tables to sit at! The bathroom is nice and very clean! Once I came back to the counter, my smoothie was ready and it was delicious! The clerk didn't seem to know how to take orders except maybe the fancy kind. She got our 2 orders both wrong. when I took mine back (I ordered a large and was given a small) they just poured my small into a larger cup and said that's how they did it. Being that I'm a visitor here in town. I decided to have some food and coffee at The Clyde Market. The atmosphere was nice as you first walk in but once you walk towards the back its just so blah and empty with big large round tables. The food was alright the price was a little to high. I got a pistachio latte and the female that made my drink had to make it twice. She gave it to me over flow that coffee was spilling out and it was the worst coffee I've ever had, I don't think she knew how to make it. Cold brew here is the best I've ever had! It doesn't need milk or sugar at all. The fruit bowls are amazing!! For my playa bowl lovers, I strongly recommend you go to the Clyde Market and order any of the fruit bowls. I recommend getting the "Super Bowl." The service is also great and they're super friendly. Once they realized I was there took my order, never made eye contact fact and put a payment machine in front of me and reminded me there was an option for a tip. This place has all the potential with the right business plan and pleasant customer service. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to have either. It's located next door to a tourist trolley ticket office and several hotels are within 1 block. Hotel complimentary breakfasts are dull and boring, this place could make a killing off of Tourists alone. Walked in to a lackluster greeting stating "I'll be with you in a minute, I have some things to catch up on." What is that even? Finally a second employee came out to the counter from a seated area out front, giving more confusing directions just to order tea and coffee . Coffee was bitter and sour (?bad cream) --essentially undrinkable and the hot tea, hot but underwhelming in flavor. Tossed both out. Space is large with wedding event style tables, an odd industrial toaster waiting for a patron to burn themself near the cream and sugar. Again huge potential in this space, could be comfortable with some Effort. Food Menu looked tasty enough, but I'd hate to see how long it would take to place an order and actually receive the food. read more

The food is always really good. The smoothie bowls and sandwiches are great, just pricey. 12 dollars for a sandwich is definitely a lot. I come back here for the food, but there are certain employees that don't have great attitudes. The good: the space is very nice with plenty of tables and lots of seating. Prices for the drinks are reasonable especially given they are close to several hotels and heavier tourist traffic. The "eh": The drinks. Our group tried the bananas foster latte and the banana almond milk was fun and definitely gave the drink its banana flavor but the "foster" part was kind of lacking. Needed more of a caramel kick. Someone else tried the butterscotch latte and while the coffee was good (no burnt tasting or acidic espresso - yay!). It really didn't have a butterscotch taste at all. The bad: The barista working seemed to be having a morning. I get it we all have those days but shop wasn't super busy and she made zero effort to interact with anyone there or even smile and say thanks for coming in or have a nice day. This is the hostess city and there are a lot of nearby options that have a great product and fantastic service (I'm looking at you Franklin's!) so the service here definitely impacted my score. read more
