Rose hip lemonade- sweet, tart and refreshing
    Amy S.

On a recent girls trip to Savannah we had a craving for some boba and Kung fu Tea was above and beyond your average boba shop. The servers were so friendly and helpful in walking us through the menu. The shop had a colorful design motif that felt bright and cheerful. Parking is street parking but we came in the middle of the day and secured a spot nearby without difficulty. I wish there were Kung Fu Tea locations near my home on the west coast, the rose hip lemonade with lychee and mango popping bobas is my fav boba combination I have had anywhere.

Kung Fu Tea in Savannah is nice. It is shared with a Poke Bowl spot. The location is great if you're walking around the historic district area, but it's honestly soooo hard to find parking here. Luckily, I've found street parallel parking spot each time (but I hate parking in any city area lollll). This KFT is like any other spot and it's nice! The service is good and they are friendly. Kung Fu Tea has great choices and their boba is delicious. Their rosehip lemonade is so refreshing! The honey oolong is also really refreshing, but can get sweet so adjust the sweetness level. I'm obsessed with their Oreo wow!

So happy that there is boba on the shopping street!!! Kungfu tea is one of the reputable chains and I was excited to make this stop. I normally go for the fruit teas which are my favorite but decided to try the matcha red bean slush. I got half sugar. It's good but not a favorite. Maybe because of the milk base, I'm not sure but will stick w the normal fruit teas going forward.

Kung fu tea is one of my favorite bobba tea chains and and was super excited to stumble upon a branch in Savannah. I went with my all time favorite Mango Yakult tea and added some jellies instead of bobba. I went for 50% ice and 50% The service was super efficient and the teas were ready and made exactly to order within minutes. Beautiful and clean premises and friendly staff. What's not to like?

I guess I ordered the wrong tea x3, ordered the coco creme wow, and there was no wow! The oreo wow was ok and the strawberry lemonade was the best one of these flavors. Long line that moved fast, bathroom was clean. Facility was clean. I have figure out how I ordered my drink so wrong, tasted like straight milk no flavor no sweetness.

My favorite place to grab bubble tea in Savannah. The staff is friendly, the physical space is clean and the drinks come out consistently good. One of the nicest Kung Fu Tea stores that I've seen. Also the fact you can get poke bowls is another bonus that I haven't seen anywhere else. Come visit!

Stopped in for lunch today. It's bowls and bubbles, but the Kung Fu Tea emblem is only on the awning. It was a bit confusing to find since they changed the awning to only say "Kung FunTea" went inside and realized it's both the poke and the tea. I did a build-your-own poke bowl with spicy tuna, marinated tuna, white rice and a whole bunch of delicious toppings. The marinated tuna was by far better than the spicy tuna. It was my husband's first poke bowl and he loved it too. I also got my usual oolong milk tea with boba and 50% sugar. I can say I recommend this place. You can also pay with your Kung FunTea app.

Craving some boba tea, I was happy to stumble upon this Kung Fu Tea. Now you can get food and other tasty looking things but for me, I just wanted my go to which is a taro milk tea. I get my drink with 30% less ice and 30% less sweet. To me regular sweet is too much and the regular ice waters it down too much. So I ordered my drink, get my number on the receipt and waited off to the side for my order. This is important. They call your order by number so don't be like me and throw your number away! Fortunately my drink is bright purple so I knew exactly which one it was when they called out the number. On a side note I do think that boba is extra, actually I think it is extra at most places. The drink here was delicious. I loved the milk tea and it was filled with boba. So many tasty boba that pop into your mouth with each sip. I loved it. For around 5-6 bucks, you cant beat it. It's worth the trip for certain.

If you love boba, you need to go here! I've had many teas from Kung Fu Tea as there were a couple in my hometown. Since moving to Charleston, I've definitely been missing it and was so excited to find out they had one here in Savannah. This store is very clean and bright. The workers were super nice and patiently waited for my app to load that I pay with to get points. I love that each Kung Fu Tea has its own flair. This one had a lucky cat all over! I got the honey oolong tea with a milk cap. The milk cap is sweet and slightly salty. I love foam so I always opt for it! The one thing I love about Kung Fu over every other boba I've tried is their boba pearls. They don't sweeten it with regular sugar and they are always the perfect consistency. Reunited and it felt/tasted so good!!!

First of all to know, it's not a normal Kung Fu Tea shop exactly: it's a Bubbles and Bowls or such, they do serve apparently the full Kung Fu Tea menu plus poke bowls, but seem to not have the Taiwanese fried chicken and other Taiwanese snack food I've had at other Kung Fu Tea locations. This may well be due to the size: it's pretty tiny inside, a long, narrow, space which is conducive to ordering to go but still can get crowded. Know that you wait for your drink (tea) orders up front whereas the rear section is where they make and then would give you your poke bowl order, if you get one. The tea is, well, it's Kung Fu Tea, alright. If you love Kung Fu Tea's milk teas, oolongs, and other delights that's what they have here. And the poke bowls do look good as well. I went with two Chinese friends and the lady behind the counter asked if they wanted a Chinese menu, so apparently they have the menu printed also in Chinese, which is a nice touch. We all three were happy with our orders and they did a good job making my "milk strike" tea less sweet as I requested it not so very sweet. They listened and really got it right.

I too am not sure why the first review went with a one star rating... It's opening week/weekend apparently! I ordered through the app - get it to earn rewards! My order said it would be ready within 5 minutes. I walked in, waited a minute, and my order was ready. Yes, it was absolutely packed in there, so if you did a walk in order, you probably would have had to wait longer than I did. I had the Rosehip milk tea - this was sweet and slightly tart. I also had the wintermelon milk tea, which was significantly sweeter than the former. I opted for regular sweetness as I wanted to taste the drink as it was intended. I liked both. Maybe I'll come back to these flavors, or maybe I'll try something else next time. Who knows. The boba was on point! Chewy consistency throughout and no disappointing pieces that bunch up together. I like that this place isn't in the mall. And although it's a chain, I'll be coming here because I know I can keep getting consistent drinks and boba. Plus, the app lets you earn rewards towards free drinks! There's also a BOGO Promo going on for opening weekend 7.31.20-8.2.20 but only on select drinks, and I'm not sure if the app recognizes the promo.

I am so glad Savannah finally has a legitimate bubble tea place! I stopped by during their grand opening! Friendly staff and delicious drinks! They also offer poke bowls which I have yet to try! Great addition to the Savannah area! Tip: download the app for order ahead options!

Our Airbnb did not provide coffee, so we came here and found a nice selection of beans and an industrial coffee grinder on-site. They also have an extensive selection of cheese, crackers, fresh breads and other food items. Everything is natural and prices reflect that, similar to Whole Foods or even a bit pricier. We really enjoyed their selection of mushroom products and picked up some mushroom infused coffee and mushroom bacon (Mybacon, or mycelium bacon). They also had plenty of fresh, loose mushrooms in the produce section. I also purchased an almond soap which is so delicious smelling. They have roll on essential oils which are great for traveling. Great spot and service and checkout was friendly. I would suggest they price their cheese individually with stickers because the menu with prices they had was confusing and not all the cheeses available were listed on the menu. Also be advised the prices are quite high for most things.

She asked me what I generally drink, what flavors I tend to gravitate towards or favor, if I had any particular ailments I'd like to address, etc. I answered her questions. I told her about my regular green smoothie. But wanting to try something new if she had any suggestions. I also told her about my allergies. It's pollen season. So my allergies are non stop annoying. I decided to try the Blue Mango smoothie. It consists of blueberries, mango, seasonal greens, almond milk, and dates(for sweetness). She suggested an add on of bee pollen because of my allergies. A few minutes later I had my smoothie in hand and was out the door. It was delicious! Now I will admit it was the most money I've ever spent on a smoothie. But when you consider the quality of products used it helps to explain the pricing of their products. I'm excited to go back and try another new smoothie! And maybe even a cold pressed juice or two!

Both Taco Grande and EFFB are all within the same space as Big Bazaar Indian and Mexican Grocery. I noticed the big banner hung outsIde of the building in Spanish, but it had fruit cocktail looking items and naturally, I was curious. Upon entering, I inquired inside and the Indian lady informed me it was opening this week, so here we are. This is a Mexican Style Fruit Bar. They have all sorts of fruit (and certain veggie) concoctions. Some have diced fruits, some are parfaits with layers of fruit flavored yogurt and some are just over the top (literally), like the one we chose! They had one with a combination of fruits and cucumber and other with jicama (pronounced he-kah-ma, a.k.a Mexican turnip). If you don't know, it's a root and I feel like it's almost a cross between an Korean/Asian Pear and a Daikon Radish. It has a similar texture to both, with the same crunch, but without the spicy-ness of the radish nor the sweetness of the pear. At first, you may think that the fruit concoctions themselves may not be Mexican, but the choice of combinations (like cucumber or jicama) with the way it's prepared and the choice of toppings they provide at the end, will make you think otherwise. They have chili powder, hot sauce, sprinkles (yes, sprinkles!) and this pink sugar-looking topping that is sweet, but sour! These were only some of the choices. What we ate - I picked the most over-the-top one for my kids and I....oooooooobviously! Fruit Cup - Spears of Honey Dew melon, pineapple, papaya, mangos and it had a Strawberry Rose! So pretty! All the fruits were ripe and sweet and the guy then squeezed half a fresh orange all over it (and was about to add lime too, but I declined as I was sharing with my kids). I chose not to put any toppings, because again, my kids. Sigh... Mango Rose - This was a special request from Yours Truly. I had seen the Strawberry Rose on the fruit cup and I asked him if he did the same with mangos, because I thought my kids would get a kick out of it. It's cheap entertainment! I told him that I was from Montreal and that I would see these Mango Roses sprinkled with chili powder during the Summer at festivals and they sold like hotcakes! He happily obliged and made us one. He picked a nice, ripe mango, peeled it, stuck a bamboo chopstick in the stem part and then cut it like a rose, just like at the festivals in Montreal! Oh, the memories! They all came back! Vibe - They have built the kiosk on the right of the space as you walk in. They are still waiting on their logos and menus, so please be patient. The whole space in general has a lot going on. Mexican grocery and EFFB on the right, butcher in the back, Indian Grocery in the middle, Taco Grande to the left and Arcade in the front, but hey, if you are looking for all those things, it's a one stop shop! They also let us eat our fruit treats at the tables on the Taco Grande side, so that was nice. Service - He was so nice. He gave my kids a piece of jicama to try and added the mango in the fruit cup which was not in the original cup. He went out of his way to get a mango, peel it and cut a few spears off and added it to the cup, because I told him they liked mangos. On top of that, he happily executed my request for the Mango Rose because he knew what I was talking about and knew how to do it. Now is that great customer service?! Yes or yes?! Kid-Friendly - Yes! Both kids devoured it! Five dollars for an overflowing fresh fruit cup and two dollars for a Mango Rose was money well spent IMO, especially for a healthy after school treat and the memories it brought back of home.
