Hi Everyone, So one…read moreof your very good friends was driving down to a Gymnastics meet in Tampa, FL with their Granddaughter. They call on the way down to tell you they were passing your exit, and were thinking of you both but can't stop, or stay, either way because they have to be back home by Sunday (bored dogs, diner, etc...). And although you were thinking of them when you text them a hotel suggestion (Name, address, telephone number, and price) in Tampa after speaking with them, which you have stayed at before (clean, breakfast included, reasonably priced, near their location) they instead decided, after their meet, to play the hotel exit game for hours. What is the hotel exit game? I'm glad you asked. That is when you stop at each exit and get out of the car at each hotel, at that exit to see if they have a room. They say "No, you should have booked ahead", and you move to the next exit, and get to play the game. over and over again. Saturday night fun, eh?. Finally exhausted, they get a room at about 3:30 AM. Yea, restful for all after a Gymnastics meet, right? On their way driving back home, you receive another call from them asking "Hey, we can hardly keep our eyes open. Can we take a nap at your house so we don't fall asleep driving home and drive off the Interstate?" Ah..? Sure, lol. That's right, we are the victims of our first drive by napping. Truth is stranger than fiction. Sure enough, they came, they napped, they left. So what to do to recover from your first drive by napping? Go to Jack Frost right beside the Okatie Ale House for some creamy, delectable, and oh so smooth homemade Ice Cream to recenter your World after a surreal first time event! What? You handle your recentering your way, and we will do it our way. However, the main reason is because their Ice Cream tastes so good, so good, so good! Hey how did Neil Diamond get in here? But I digress. On the right side of the indoor Jack Frost Ice store are their fresh homemade Creamery Ice Creams from Michigan. Why Michigan? I guess the milk is better? I mean, it's right beside Wisconsin, don't cha know! On the left side, the ice cream cases selection are all the all South Carolina homemade ice creams. Don't worry, I am sure they imported all the cows from Michigan. Here is the bottom line, Ice Cream Fans. Their ice cream is so good you cannot run, lifts weights or excerise enough to work off these exquisite ice cream flavors. It is that rich, pleasing, and a grand taste experience! So what must you do? Enjoy

About a month ago my wife and I had gone in like we did on Saturday mornings, we did our usual good morning greetings to the employees, but this one individual was as rude as you could imagine. His response was " he had no obligation to say hi or hello" we were takin back a bit and we asked for another associate to help, this individual responded with NO, I then asked for a manager and he yelled that he was the manager. Which turned out to be a lie, he then got real confrontational, he threatened us in front of customers, he even attempted to go after my wife, while all the long the real manager was there but failed to even come out and confront what was going on. Needless to say after calling corporate and asking them to review their CCTV , they did and completed the investigation, they fired this punk. As far as I know the manager is still there. WHY? Again it all comes down to how you manage your store and obviously this manager needs to be schooled or fired. As a smart consumer you have other options. There is a better place with well trained employees down the street called "The parlor" do yourself and your family a favor avoid this Dunkins like the plague. 6 Palmer grace Dr Bluffton sc. until Dunkin corporate gets it and condemns the behavior of their staff and to train managers that can actually manage. They will continue to pile up the bad reviews and for that their business will suffer.

Side note: We sat next to a table of two young children who were watching videos on two different tablets with the volume blasting while their parents sat at an adjacent table with another couple. Parents of these children, have a little self awareness and tell your kids to put their tablets on mute or buy them some headphones or earbuds. WTF? Service: Our waitress did a good job of getting our drink orders correct and our food came out pretty quickly 4/5 Food: I had the patty melt and my wife had a burger. The food was above average. 3.5/5 The beer: This is where things went sideways . I've had SBB's core beers before and they are pretty solid, especially the Damn Yankee IPA. We decided to get two flights of beer. The flights had all 8 of their small batch releases. They were terrible. I would only order 1 out the 8 again. The two Belgian beers and the sour had a strong vinegar taste. The others were unremarkable. 1/5 I'd go back for the core beers and food, but would be very leery ordering any small batch beers Overall rating 2/5. It would have been a. 3/5 rating if I didn't order any small batch beers.

I was wide awake and ready for my first review by 5:00 am, and walked through the doors at 5:20. I was one of the first customers of the day. I settled in with my laptop, plugged into their outlet, grateful for the warmth, quiet, and a cushioned seat that made the next two hours surprisingly pleasant. I stayed until the Sun was up and the roads felt safe again, letting the morning unfold while the city slowly woke around me. The Starbucks app is more than a star tracker though I rarely redeem them. It's a solid tool for customizing your drink exactly how you want it. I prefer the Blonde Veranda roast in a short cup with a 1/4 inch splash of heavy cream. They've removed the "add ice" option, so I have to wait a few minutes for the coffee to cool to a drinkable temperature. During my stay, I watched a steady rhythm of customers coming and going, baristas clocking in, and the team moving with practiced efficiency. By the time I left at 7:40 am, I realized I'd been the only one lingering. Everyone else was just passing through. [Review 1285 of 2025 - 1308 in South Carolina - 24837 overall]
