I ordered the Toasted Coast iced latte and added vanilla cold foam; unfortunately I didn't taste the coconut or amaretto and it primarily tasted like chocolate which was my least favorite ingredient. We also ordered an almond croissant which was very good! I highly recommend getting it warmed up! The yogurt parfait was good once again, but had very little granola this time, unlike the first time I ordered. Unfortunately, they were out of sourdough so my daughter ordered the breakfast sandwich with a GF bagel instead (the only alternate option). She said it was just okay, but definitely had too much bread and wasn't super flavorful. We'll visit again, but will keep trying new things until we find our favorites (already found the almond croissant though)!

The place was incredibly well decorated throughout with seasonal Halloween decor. The music selection was upbeat, but some of the songs were club music which felt a bit out of place for so early in the morning. They have some creative specialty caffeinated drinks, and they also offer smoothies, beer, wine, and cocktails, as well as a limited selection of food and dessert options. I went with an Aloha latte (4.5/5) which contains a combination of coconut, vanilla, and mocha flavors. It was unique and delicious without any bitter taste. They had coconut cake (3.5/5) on offer, and I had to get a slice since I hadn't had coconut cake in almost 2 years. It was tasty and wasn't too sweet, but wasn't overly moist, which gave me the impression that it had been made several days prior, and resulted in it drying out a little. It was the only place I visited in Hilton Head over the course of several days that passed on a credit card surcharge to customers. If you don't mind that, I'd suggest trying out Carolina Coffee & Crumbs if you're looking to try out a local coffee shop in the Coligny Beach area of Hilton Head.

First off, the restaurant is located perfect in a shopping center with plenty of indoor and covered outdoor seating. The ordering style is synonymous of most of the "build-your-own" restaurants. I opted for a burrito and chose the "Java Special" as my choice of protein. It has a mix of steak and chicken, cooked in queso. The burrito was delicious and well portioned. Typically, a leaky burrito would turn-off some people from the food, including myself, but it was delicious nonetheless. I went back the next morning for some coffee and opted for a speciality Dubai Chocolate coffee. It was delicious to the point where we could not stop talking about it all morning. All in all, I love eating at Java Burrito whether I want a hefty meal or just some quality coffee. It's to the point where it's a guaranteed visit whenever I make my way down to the island.

I tried the Sand Dollar latte, it was so good. 10/10. We were seated quickly, and they have a nice indoor dining area, and a lovely outside patio. Service was very quick, as we also ordered breakfast. I had their omelet with hashbrowns and toast. Nice portion sizes, and very good! Best of all was the price. Very reasonable. The poached eggs on the fourth meal were severely undercooked and practically raw. What made the experience even worse was having two young children with us who were completely melting down by the end because everything took so long. A restaurant should know better than to leave families sitting that long with no urgency, no communication, and no follow-up. What should have been a simple breakfast turned into a two-hour waste of time with bad service, poorly prepared food, and zero attention to detail. There is no excuse for this level of incompetence. I would absolutely not recommend this place.
