Great smoothies made by a wonderful woman who is so nice and pleasant! Service was quick and efficient.

Avoid at all costs. Just got an acai bowl and smoothie there. They barely used 'greens' for their Green 101 smoothie, and my acai was handed to me completely melted. When I asked for a to-go lid (because obviously, ordering two, I'm on the go), they said--well you'll have to work it down some because we only have lids. Seriously?! My seven minute drive featured several leaks, it leaked on my way into the house, and I've spent the last 20 minutes cleaning up the trails. It was so bad I had to pour my "bowl" into a larger cup and eat it. Like soup. Cannot stand when crunchy, borderline pretentious places overcharge for something then can't follow through on quality/craftmanship. Really regret tipping 20%, too. Will buy fruit, yogurt, and individual ingredients next time and just toss into a blender. read more

Now my family has been coming to Hilton head for at least 20 years and going to smooth was always one of our traditions but this year the smoothies were extra good. For the 7 of us to all order smoothies they actually came out pretty quick. At smooth they have a lot of games to play while you are waiting for your smoothies. They have games like Jenga and shut the box. In smooth it is pretty clean if I have to say so myself! I always beg to get the smoothies and when I do get the smoothie I am really happy. I go to this place every single day everyone else in there seems to be nice and on board except this one girl she never makes my smoothie correct and I was charged a different amount when I get the same order same size every day I brought it to the owner attention and I'm still Not getting what I normally receive so I decided today moving forward to never go back in there again. What a great way to start the day! My daughter and I needed a quick healthy something to get us going while in HHI for vacation. This was perfect. Upon entering we were greeted right away. As we were deciding, a couple of other customers came in and they must have been regulars so the servers knew their orders and were asking about their families. The staff was very friendly with us and made us feel welcome as well. We decided what we wanted then placed our order. Next, we noticed the fun vintage games all across the counter. We, of course, had to play the Rock'em Sock'em Robots. The daughter won - just in time for us to pick up our order. She ordered the #1 Açaí Bowl and I got the Espresso Smoothie. We found a table outside to enjoy them. She really like the Açaí bowl. My Espresso Smoothie was really delicious. I was seeking a really healthy smoothie and this find exceeded my desires and expectations!! Not only do they use organic ingredients, but have a nice line of smoothies, fresh juices, açaí bowls ... and the best offering is the shots they offer. It was so good, I couldn't stop at one! ( just like old times! ) I told a friend about it and took her the very next day. We visit every summer when we're on the island; we especially like to come here and refuel after spending time at the bikram yoga studio not far away. I absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is fun and inviting! They have games and sometimes you might catch the staff playing piano. The best part by far is the smoothies, juices, and healthy "shots"!! I was having an issue with the pollen and my sinuses and they recommended a bottle of Thyme...wow! Love putting natural remedies that work in my system over pharmaceuticals! THE BEST SMOOTHIE IS PB&J!! We ordered acai bowls and they were the worst we've ever had. Half of the base was ice and I had an ice chunk in every bite, the granola had raisins in it that you couldn't chew, the acai was a powder, and the strawberries on top tasted like they were from a pie filling can. He also licked his finger while making it in front of us. Our friends got smoothies and they were decent. Delisheyo across the street is much better. read more

Similar to Chelsey whom commented below I too received subpar customer service. As a matter of fact we DIDN'T receive service at all. When entering the establishment a young teenage couple sat at the bar trying a shot of some sort while conversing with the blonde haired employee (name unknown) behind the counter. The employee provided customer service to the couple who chatted about the shot and a friend that would be coming to the establishment later. I take it they were all friends. As we stood waiting to be at least acknowledged the employee didn't even pause to greet us or even look in our direction. The employee asked if the couple needed anything but again NEVER acknowledged us during our close to 5 minute visit. Normally I would personally reprimand this type of behavior instead we walked away taking our business to the very polite and friendly Starbucks that is around the corner from this mediocre business. This business lost out on our funds today. Oh well! read more

My entire family loves Smooth. We've been visiting the store on a daily basis each time we visit the island since it opened. Fith, the owner, is interested in people and nutrition and always has interesting facts to share and invited you to try new things. The kombucha is the best! Just had the WORST experience at this smoothie shop !! This is not my first time here every time I come to Hilton Head I make a pit stop. They must be under new ownership because when I come in I am usually greeted by a friendly staff. When I walked in the shop no one greeted us and the employee had the worst attitude I had ever seen. His exact words were 'wassup', he didn't tell us how the menu worked, he didn't even ask what we wanted. I proceeded to order and he didn't even respond he just started dumping canned (gross) fruit into the blender. When I asked him how much he said how much do I want to pay which at this location you select how much you want to pay minimum $1. I told him I would pay $8 for me and my mom I signed my name and after that I asked him for a receipt and he told me he had no idea how to print a receipt . I am extremely disappointed read more

I have never been to a place like this. Menu is simple, lots of dried fruit/baked goods which all were great. You order a smoothie, and you pay what you think is right. They even let me sample some of the many juices they have there. When I was visiting the area we literally went every day to get a smoothie. I liked the concept of paying what you think is right. Let me start out by saying that I love this place, the employees and the concept. However, the reason for the mediocre review is the management. When I walk in and there's only employees behind the counter, I'm relieved. But the owner is very much a penny pincher. Since he took over, the kale, apple and banana chips have disappeared. Larger sized juices are no longer offered (but what about customers willing to pay more?!). Once I got a juice that I swear was half water because it had zero flavor (and it was beet, apple, lemon, turmeric & ginger)! I went on a 3-day juice cleanse a few weeks ago and paid in advance the day I started. The next day, the owner tried to give me half as much juice! At 5'5" and 115 lbs, I certainly wasn't trying to lose weight, just give my digestion a little reset. Luckily when I came in to pick up my juice he wasn't around so the employee gave me a full day's worth, but sheesh. Practice what you preach, yo. read more
