Literally the place that sparked my obsession with smoothie bowls, sadly I have not had a smoothie bowl this good since. The açaí base is so delicious. It's perfectly sweet and decently frozen which is how I prefer it. The granola is finely ground and perfectly sweet it added a unique texture that I really enjoyed! Everything was so fresh tasting and I left full. I was very happy and I cannot wait to come back. The guy at the front was also super helpful and made some good recommendations. It's small and cute inside. With some seating available.

A quick flip flop walk from the beach or 80 - the main thoroughfare. This is Tybee Islands newest sandwich and smoothie spot! Their walls are chalkboard painted with tropical, beachy chalk art! Below the chair rail the walls are covered in artificial turf. So creative! They have a variety of 25 blended drinks with add ons, such as flaxseed, vitamin C, etc. for $1 per. Smoothies range $6-$8 dollars. If sodas are your thing they have a self serve station with Coke products, as well as, Peak iced tea. If you're hungry they have 5 flatbread choices, 2 quesadilla choices, 5 wraps and 4sandwiches. I appreciated the customer service as I asked for a chicken salad sandwich instead of their menu item of chicken salad wrap. They were happy to oblige.

Walking in the atmosphere and staff were very welcoming. He suggested what was the most popular and even included what he substituted for ingredients. I ended up getting chunky monkeys and sandy bottoms. Sandy Bottoms tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The chunky monkey tasted like peanut butter, and you can definitely taste the white chocolate. Good experience!

Greeted with a smile, service was great and the açaí bowl and smoothies were amazingly delicious.

The opportunity for cool freshness on the strip in Tybee invited us in for a sweet start to our day. The staff is immediately welcoming and warm. The menu is small but they do it well. A friend and I will often spend early mornings on Tybee. With the weather getting warmer, we decided it was a perfect day for a smoothie bowl and the beach! I arrived at Ripe around 9 am, and was met by a friendly staff member who was smiley and kind. He walked me through his favorites and what can be added. We ordered the ripe bowl, and added coconut flakes. Smoothie açaí base was delicious and fresh, fruit was also very fresh and juicy. Granola was delicious although with the coconut flakes on top, it was more than delicious. I also got a canned coconut water from their fridge area, which to my surprise (and liking) had fresh coconut bits in it. I paid about 14$ for each bowl. I will definitely be back! read more

Ripe was sooo good. We went to Tybee island to bring in the new year and stumbled upon Ripe. It was there last day open as they were closing for the season and we called and placed our order 15 minutes to closing and got there 1 minute till and the manager gave us our açaí and smoothie for free! They serve a variety of flatbreads, quesadillas, wraps and sandwiches. We had already eaten lunch so we didn't eat here but we tried a couple of their HITS which is basically healthy amoothies. My Sandy Bottoms was delicious! The Green Latifah was excellent too. There was a little too much lime for my taste in the Soul Fruit. My daughter had the Classic Bobba Tea from next door. It was also very good and they used non dairy creamer so it was vegan. The staff was very friendly. The place is casual, nice and clean. The only downside is the parking, the lot is for SCAD and there's limited street parking available. I didn't try any food, but I can't wait to return for a bowl. The fan was also super friendly and helpful.

Been here for both dinner and lunch. All this said, I think my approach to this review is comprehensive. With regard to food, I think they have a decent (not expansive) selection of food, which I think lends itself to quality. They do most things really well. This said, I do think there is inconsistency based on staff at the restaurant. On one occasion they have accommodated a request, and on another I was denied the exact same request. I found this frustrating. On one occasion I've also seen management talk down to staff here, which is a big no no for me. All people (especially staff) are due respect and this rubbed me the wrong way. This was an isolated incident but it definitely made my dining experience uncomfortable. Especially because I was getting excellent service from the server!!! I've always had quality service from servers here. In the future, I would come to Rhett for convenience as a hotel guest (the hotel is lovely), but would likely not spend my money if I wasn't staying at the hotel. Overall- it's good food, decent ambiance... but there are soooo many good options in Savannah. You have to be exceptional to stand out in that city.
