What a find! Mi Vida is a great spot to start the day. A sunny porch supported by even sunnier staff. Mi Vida features hot and cold beverages from espresso to cold pressed juices. They even have a mimosa if that's what you're craving. In addition they have a great menu of breakfast fare featuring zhuzzed up toasts to breakfast sandwiches. Don't miss the pastry case as you walk in. Oh my! Beware the drool. We found a comfy spot on the porch and ordered a latte and a hot chai. As well as an avocado toast and a pastry case stand out peanut butter and chocolate roll. Our server was as nice as the sunshine and quick witted as well. The food and drinks arrived quickly and were delicious. Glad I was able to snap photos before we dug in. Both items were as gorgeous as they were tasty. My roll was even warmed to kick up the decadence one extra notch! The only area for improvement - a minor one - need a sharper knife to get through the sturdy crust of the avocado toast. The standard knife was no match and resulted in making a crime scene of this breakfast plate. Food, drinks and service were all top notch. On our trip to Savannah we drove out to Tybee Island to see what it was like and hopefully get a glimpse of the ocean (we did, but it was chilly that day and the water was extremely choppy that day so we only got to see it from a fenceline). Since not much was going on at 10am on a Wednesday in April, we walked around a little bit and then found Mi Vida, which we stopped in to get a little refreshment. The cafe is small, but adorable, and the employees were super nice. I ordered an Americano with oat milk and the barista was so cool in asking me how much milk I wanted because, as she put it, "I know how important the color of my coffee is when I order it". Also got a key lime scone to go which was lovely and not overly sweet. Just fyi, parking lot is small and shared with other businesses, so be aware of that. read more

We got a Sammy Toast, Açaí bowl, and 2 kids plates and they were all very good and fresh! The orange juice is also freshly squeezed and very good! The service was also very good! There aren't a ton of great places to eat on this island, and while the better-known brunch place a block away had a line out the door, in my eyes this gas station restaurant was the place to be. Offering a mix of smoothie bowls and Latin American breakfast, this place had multiple options for vegan and other dietary needs. Their pastry spread looked impressive as well; they said it is from Auspicious rather than being in house, but if you were going to get pastries from anyone that would be the place. Me being me, I already had a haul of Auspicious Bakery goods in my trunk, so I stuck with a bowl and a beverage. My chai was a complex flavor, and offered with oat milk by default. I couldn't quite place the spice mix, but there was definitely something distinctive in it. The juice bowl I received was small, but had quality ingredients and I savored it. The price for the portion was high, but to have gotten some quality selection within walking distance of the beach, I was quite satisfied. read more

Great little spot. I had the breakfast Sammie that was outstanding. The sourdough was grilled perfectly crisp on the outside and still soft and chewy on the inside. My husband had the Adonis, which he loved as well. It was so big he couldn't finish it. The staff was very friendly and cheerful. The only small negative was they do not have any real dairy products for any drinks. Only almond milk or oat milk are your options. I was sad to have to skip my latte. Overall, I would go back. The service here is absolutely top notch- our waitress was so great with the kids, very cheerful and just lovely at brunch a few weekends ago. It was busy but she made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. Lovely deck to sit on with lots of shade. I had a couple hours to spend in Tybee before making the drive home to ATL. I was going to hit up another spot for breakfast found via Yelp but decided to stop here based off of the line out front. (You can easily miss this place cause it's in a gas station parking lot where parking is chaotic - meaning, it wasn't clear this was an actual cafe!). The staff are the sweetest, the vibe is warm and welcoming, and the food is delicious. I ordered the Pura Vida bowl and an oat milk cafe con leche w/a side of fruit. I grabbed a chocolate croissant for the ride home (baked fresh from a nearby bakery!). I'm still thinking about the yumminess. Highly recommend. (And I will say, given I was leaving home right afterwards, the convenience of having a gas station to stock up on water for the drive home is an added bonus in choosing their location, haha.) Had the pleasure of finding Mi Vida from a Google search for vegan food on Tybee Island. I'm so glad this place came up and I made it before they closed. First off the service is amazing. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. It is such an adorable restaurant, perfect for the organically inclined . I ordered the vegan wrap, blue spirulina bowl, and date bar. Very delicious!!!! I managed to get a pic of the bowl but devoured the wrap...sorry! Not easy to find vegan food but this one will be a repeat visit if ever in GA. I wish this place was in Washington DC.
