Waters cafe has been on my list for a while, and I'm so glad I finally got to stop by today! [[HIGHLIGHT]]First of all, I absolutely LOVE all the colors and the cheerful, welcoming vibes both inside and out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered a lavender latte and the salmon lox bagel, and my date had the Callahan sandwich with tea. This is my first time here, and I love it! New(ish) gem to Savannah's Breakfast/Lunch scene. Waters Cafe is a colorful, sandwich shop located off 40th and waters. The dining area is bright and colorful, and has a ton of tributes to local savannah personnel. There is a private parking area (which is a huge treat in Savannah), indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and explained the specials to us. We had a breakfast sandwich with an everything bagel and The Callahan. The breakfast sammie was delicious with a perfectly toasted everything bagel, cheese, and egg- I added tomato and bacon. It was delicious and I could've eaten 5! The Callahan on the other hand.. WOW! The sand which was an Italian style sandwich. Everything was super fresh and the bread was fluffy and soft. I also had a hibiscus lemonade and it was so refreshing! Definitely recommend stopping by and giving them a try. I will definitely be going back soon! read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a great space to work for the small tables, selection of drinks, and range of foods.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Some of my favorite sandwiches are the Dahlia (roast beef) and the Nate (chicken salad). I also like the cosmic corner breakfast sandwich. I often add the bacon and extra veggies to it. They have gluten-free bread options so I always get that. The staff is always super friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place perfectly incapsulates Savannah's thriving art culture! It's a small space but they utilize every inch of it with fun, clever, and interesting decor. I particularly liked how they used broken pieces of pottery as accents along their border.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their food was delicious and their drip coffee was good quality and very fragrant and delicious. I ordered the cosmic bagel sandwich with fried egg, American cheese, and added greens and tomato. I also subbed the sausage for their vegan sausage and it was perfect. They have vegan sausage, egg, cheese and mayo available for our vegan brothers and sisters! They also have homemade lemonades that looked so refreshing: hibiscus, lemon and more. They had a matcha milkshake that a few people ordered while I was there and I plan on ordering that myself next time I visit. I am also excited to try their homemade sodas that they will soon be offering. Their service was very friendly and warm. My husband and I both felt very welcome. Came to eat on Sunday around 10am. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Impressed by the eclectic and bright interior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered waffles because I was craving them, also picked out a delicious warm chocolate muffin, and a strawberry banana shake. The best cup of coffee I ever had was from a deli in Copley Square (Boston) where I lived 40 years ago. Obviously I've had coffee from countless coffee houses, cafes, diners, food carts, service stops on the Jersey Turnpike and even a few fancy restaurants. None of them have come within half a mile of my favorite deli coffee experience--until the coffee from this joint. Seriously, Waters Cafe coffee is way better than OK. And I'll take the quirky comfort vibe there over the pretentious art school vibe of most of Savannah's coffee spots any day of the week. My husband tried one of their grilled cheese sandwich creations and was even moved to tell me "Don't try to make me a perfect grilled cheese sandwich anymore. Just take me to Waters Cafe. " I will. I was here for a couple of hours for a work event. Ordered an Oatmilk latte & it was wonderful! Staff was so kind & helpful and the food that the customers ordered while I was in looked sooo delicious. I'll definitely make this a staple spot for my coffee outings. This place was really good. Also the sandwich I got kinda tasted very similar to my subway order. No shade at all either cause I gave a 5 star because it was really good but it definitely tasted similar to subway and there's nothing wrong with that in my opinion cause I like subway. I got the Callahan with extra cheese. It's got everything on it that I put on my subway order other than the addition of pepperoni. It was really good. I got a 12oz latte with caramel and oat milk as well. It was good too. Idk what oat milk they use but it's not as sweet as other oat milks I've tried so I put a little simple syrup in there to sweeten it a touch. Service was quick. I don't think I waited even 10 minutes for the food. Also everyone there was really nice and the place was super cool. Was a little small in side but there's outside seating too and there wasn't any loud music like their usually is in small cafe/sandwich shops so that was a relief. The place was also cool to look at, they designed it really well. Would be a cool place to go get breakfast/ lunch with the girls at take cute pictures. Overall for $15 or so after a 15% tip it was well worth it and filling. Would recommend and would definitely come back. read more
