Origin Coffee Bar was the last coffee shop I visited in Savannah and I honestly wish it had been the first so I could have gone more than once. It's a large shop with minimalist decor and lots of natural light. Staff are kind, there is a good food menu with lots of options and a lot of coffee/beverage options too. Nice amount of seating as well. I went for an iced latte and had their caprese toast and yogurt bowl. The caprese toast was so good and tasty with the pesto on top. The iced latte was solid, a nice balance in the espresso. Definitely a great spot for a quick pick me up or to stay a while.
The coffee is here is absolutely delicious! I tried the meil and added extra Carmel! It was absolutely perfect! Service was outstanding!! Friendly and fast, just how I like it. The Coffee Bar, is bright and airy...It's a great place to come and grab a coffee and chat with friends...

I met up with a few friends to get some work done, and this place is perfect for a change of setting for those who work from home. It does get busy, so it may be hard to take meetings, but the layout is perfect. Parking can be tricky, but there is a garage nearby. The Turkish eggs are SO good. I'll be going back just for that. It a surprisingly filling dish for a coffee shop, but that works for me. In glad this place had actually food items instead of just pastries. There's a mix of seating options for groups or one person, which was great to see. Lovely space, can't wait to go back.
This place is gorgeous inside and has a good amount of seating, though for parking you'll have to find a spot on the street. The staff was very kind and the coffees came out pretty quickly. I ordered a seasonal flavor that has chocolate, coconut, and amaretto. Unfortunately I couldn't taste much of those flavors, but the coffee was very smooth and still tasty. I appreciate that they make their own syrups here and the food menu looked good too.

Today I think we found our favorite! Coffee was great & the ambiance was peaceful. My husband got the sausage burrito and really enjoyed it. He appreciated the portion size was normal & not humongous. Overall, highly recommend Origin! I can't wait to come back!!
My friend and I stopped by here after our long drive from Virginia. The coffee here .... is phenomenal according my friends! The matcha here... DELICIOUS! It wasn't too sweet and not too milky, everything was just right! The space is big. Service was great! They do have the most considerate restroom i've ever seen. It has tampons, pads, diapers with various sizes and also uncented wipe and a changing space for babies with soft "mattress". Would deff come back here!

I checked the menu online so I knew I could order there so I did that instead of waiting in line. While I waited for my order I admired how open and well lit the place was plus all the different seating options for having a meeting, catching up with your bff, or getting some solo work done. Things we tried: -Newport matcha -York flat white -Miel -Blackberry pumpkin toast Everything was great but the toast was so good! They use a house made sourdough, ricotta and mascarpone cheese, honey, pumpkin seeds and the most delicious and plump blackberries. I appreciated the unique coffee drinks and the matcha was amazing. I've always wanted to try one of the fun looking matcha drinks and now I feel like I'll be spoiled on that one because I might be disappointed in all future matches.

We all got the blueberry matcha, which was refreshing. The matcha flavor isn't strong at all, barely any matcha as you can see by how milky the drink looks, but it was still tasty. The real star of the show was the Turkish eggs. I wanted something protein-heavy, and this dish delivered with perfectly cooked eggs over creamy Greek yogurt, chili oil, and toasted bread. I still think about it all the time and am already counting down the days until I can come back for it. The cashier and baristas weren't very friendly or talkative, just there to do their jobs. The cafe itself has a lot of seating, but with how busy it gets, they could definitely use more.
Found this place by chance on yelp and so glad I did. Was in Savannah for 3 days and stopped in everyday and on the way out. We ordered the cherry mocha and Eden's tonic daily from their seasonal menu, and I'm still thinking about those drinks a couple of weeks later. Definitely a must try. Don't let the long lines deter you as they move pretty fast.
I found this place recommended on tik tok, long line but it moved fast, and got longer by the time I left! (After 10am). This coffee is good, tastes authentic and no fluff. Is it the best i've ever had? no but it did the job on this trip, not disappointed!

Everyone needs a cool little spot to chill, sip, and enjoy good vibes, and Origin Coffee Bar definitely delivers! The atmosphere is lively and inviting, they've got coffee, iced matcha, brunch, and plenty of reasons to stay awhile. Today I tried the Stone Fruit Iced Matcha Latte with vanilla cold foam, and when I tell you... this may be the BEST matcha I've ever had! The stone fruit flavor with that touch of vanilla was absolutely delicious smooth, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweet. Seriously, if you're a matcha lover, you have to try this one! Even if you're not usually a matcha person, I'd give this one a shot. It might just convert you. read more

I AM OBSESSED! Not kidding- I've been here for 7 straight days. The first interaction I had was with a young man behind the counter. Once he found out it was my first time here, he went above and beyond and ran through the menu with me. He was a true gem to this establishment, I wish I could've gotten his name. All of the employees have been very kind. The coffee here is delicious. My favorite is the iced miel. Their coffee cups are also so cute! Definitely on trend and they're made with recycled materials. As far as food goes they have a diverse menu. They carry pastries from auspicious and have a few different toasts. My favorites have been the Turkish eggs (though I do wish they were more consistent. I've gotten them three times and it hasn't tasted the same all three times) I do wish they were more spicy, but nonetheless they're yummy. I also love the burritos. I'm a huge fan! Final Verdict: if I'm obsessed, I think you would be too! This is a local small business and their entire brand is amazing. If you haven't checked them out please do. For coffee and food, the prices are standard and they use good quality ingredients. They are expanding to Hilton head, I think we will see great things from this business! 5/5 read more

Really nice place to get a coffee and small breakfast. The large windows provide great lighting for the local students and guests. There was a line that stretched outside the building but it moves. There were 20+ people standing in line and took us 15 minutes to get to the counter. Worried that about finding a table but the turnover was good and we found one right away. There are a few tables outside and some counter space in the middle and sides. Great mix of breakfast food. We ordered the Avocado Toast which could be made into gluten free for an additional $2. Highly recommend. Variety of coffee options but my simple drip coffee came with unlimited refills and a to-go cup. read more

We had the Salmon Lox toast, iced lavender latte & lavender matcha. Matcha was extremely sweet but tasted okay. Coffee was quite good and had more of a balanced flavor. The lox toast however was absolutely amazing! Everything came out quickly and the service was friendly. We also visited on a Monday morning around 9am and it was not that busy at all. Very quick visit! Love the interior of the cafe as well. read more
Line was out the door! Service was definitely slow. We waited for about 30 minutes to get to the front. The matcha latte had no flavor but milk. I did have to go back and ask for a little more matcha and the barista did not seem very happy. There were also no straws or napkins. Giving two stars for the ambiance and the friendly service of the cashier. Overall, can skip this place if you want a decent matcha latte. read more

Strawberry Matcha and caramel Cappuccino were amazing. Staff were friendly and fun, as well as quick. You could spend an afternoon here on their comfy couches or at a bar facing outside and people watching. Wife said it was the best matcha she ever had. read more
My buddy is a bit of a creeper and comes here for the coffee and the "babe train." lol. He's correct on both points. The coffee is really good, especially the Brazilian drip. I tried the Colombian and after having coffee in Colombia it doesn't compare here, but I'd get the Brazilian coffee every time it was unique and delicious. I can see why my single male friend loves this place and it's not for the coffee....you can use your imagination since it's super close to SCAD. There is a ton of tables and workspaces all throughout as well as some couches by the door and some tables outside. We got here and there wasn't a line and while I was enjoying my coffee the line swelled up out the door a couple times but it went fast. My only complaint is that if you want a refill you have to wait in the long line...refills should be available at the pickup counter!! Especially if you're trying to work or here during work hours, standing in line for 15 minutes for a refill is a bit out of touch with offering such a cool place to work. I really liked the lamp shades that looked like coffee filters. I've been told that this is a Christian owned establishment and that they provide coffee to some of the local churches. While Christian owned, it's not Christian themed so don't be afraid of stepping into church to get a coffee here. Prices are reasonable. I can't stand Starbucks and never go there and this place is very close to their pricing but it's locally owned and has a way better vibe than any of the corporate green lady stores. I would definitely come back. If you're just having coffee plan to spend about an hour here to get and enjoy a couple cups over some good conversations with your own friends or people sitting next to you. read more

This is a very upscale coffee shop. We ordered lattes; hot for him and iced for me. We also had the bacon and sausage breakfast burritos. Everything was delicious and the wait staff were very friendly. The coffee was some of the best I've ever had. read more
Was looking for some good coffee before leaving town and found this GEM. The service was beyond amazing and super friendly. Plenty of seating inside in different areas of the cafe.
