Frozen Coffee cookies butter flavor.
Sha M.

Ayo, let me put y'all on; Vic's Café just blessed me with a butter cookie frozen coffee that had me questioning everything I thought I knew about caffeine. Smooth as silk, perfectly balanced, and that butter cookie flavor? Elite. None of that artificial nonsense; just rich, velvety goodness that hit every note right. If you're in Savannah and not pulling up to Vic's, you're playing yourself. Live, love and laugh - Sha

Nice small shoppe on River St. Nice pastry selection. They even heat muffins and toast bagels. Coffee comes in 3 sizes. Iced or hot. Alcohol is served. Service is nice and polite. The place is small with tables and chairs in the back though. No TVs or music which was a nice change. Like most places in Savannah they don't open until 9am.

London fog, small.

I really liked this place! Two lovely servers and a perfect London fog on an unusually cold Savannah Sunday. About $7 with tip.

The place seems to always be packed but for good reason! They have great variety of coffee, and best of all, spiked coffee! The particular one I had was warm apple cider it was delicious and warmed me up! But the popular one that they ran out was spike tiramisu latte! Deff would recommend.

Old Savannah feel as you walk in. Original stone walls and wood floor. Nicely appointed barista station, service area, and ample, cozy seating. If you wish coffee libations- there many options. I went for an iced almond-milk latte. They also had some very interesting and fun baked goods. French toast muffin, for example. Also several flavors of pastries cinnamon rolls, tarts and even bagels. As a gal who lives in NYC for many years - I know a good bagel. I tried their everything. It was good. (Not quite NYC quality, but good.) This is a great place to grab n go or sit in. Service was solid and respectful.

Great service. The staff was absolutely lovely and perfectly friendly. The coffee was ok. I've had better, I've had worse. I needed some caffeine and a place to sit for a spell, so it fit the bill. It was a nice place to sit out a rainstorm.

Great barristas, delicious coffees, many walk-ins, some indoor seating and a narrow standing bar
Rich S.

We wandered up to Vic's Coffee Bar on River Street, and they do mean "bar". We formulated a Baileys mocha, which we all had (for a pretty penny). Delicious and well-made! It wasnt on their menu, but they welcomed our "invented" recipe, and even came up with a quicker way to describe it from their menu offerings. There's a small seating area indoors in the back, and a narrow standing bar across from the barristas. Most people get theirs to go, and yes, you can legally stroll around that part of Savannah with your alcoholic bev. A fellow out front invited us to the upstairs bar/restaurant for the view. The barrista also said we could go right up in the elevator and hang out for the 4th floor view, but when we got there, we learned that Savannans can look askance with the best of them, and we were asked firmly not to hang around after looking out the windows. To be fair, it's rather upscale up there, certainly not as casual as we were. I asked them to let us sit out on the back terrace, and we were the only ones under their umbrellas on the mysterious Factor's Row, not labeled on google maps, a scenic level of brick and iron walkways between the river and Bay Street. We blurred awhile in our Baileys in the cool weather, and saw some nice historic facades and a lion fountain! You know, i started this as a four-star review, on account of being asked not to hang out at their nice 4th-floor tables, but the view we had was lovely and rare, and d*mn, those spiked coffees were delicious!

Great service very friendly. More of a tourist trap than a coffee shop. Food okay and casual .

Carmel macchiato and Affogato.
Mandi W.

Stopped in for a coffee treat. I had the employee make me an Affogato (ice cream + espresso) She used the ice cream furthest to the exit and behind the ice cream in front. It was so tasty! My husband is a macchiato fan. He sat there and drank the whole thing, slowly. Plus, it's one the few places on River street with a bathroom and air conditioning!!

Under staffed and poor planning. I believe there were 2 staff members and a manager.  1 staff member and manager wasn't present most of the time we were there waiting... and we had to wait! Apparently, they were having to pull stock. As early as it was and the fact that it wasn't busy, there's no reason that they should have been having to pull stock... unless it was due to poor planning the day before or prior to them opening. It was over a 15-minute wait for 2 frozen coffees.

Latte

Separate from Vic's on the River, the coffee house was just a-ok! Coffee was mediocre and the wait was long. But it was cold outside and we NEEDED something warm. Two lattes it is. The lattes were fine - nice and warm to hold, too. Prices are reasonable, as others have noted in their reviews - so I guess I can't be mad at the overall quality. My biggest complaint was the wait. So, it was pre-COVID so it was ok to fill a coffee shop to capacity and boy, was it at capacity. It took FOREVER to get our drinks. I guess it just gave us more time to wait inside the heated shop (it was FREEZING outside) although there is limited seating inside (well, or it was because it was packed so there was no seating available). At the end of the day, it didn't help that it was cold outside since everyone was packed inside buying coffee to warm up. But if you're looking for something warm to drink without breaking the bank, Vic's is your shop!

Mini Pecan pie, strawberry banana smoothie

Loved Vic's coffee house! They offered variety of coffee, smoothies, and even beer! They also had small sweets. For big appetite, they have their main restaurant next door. This coffee shop is located in historic downtown area, and has view of river right up front.

Is this a good place to work or study?

I would think so! Most of the traffic is by the coffee/cash counter and that is right at the entrance. The tables are all the way in the back and away from the foot traffic. The tables are small though, bistro style, but the bench seating is pretty… Read more

The Paris Market is essentially like an antique shop, museum, and classy cafe all came together at once. It has a perfect vibe and aesthetic that is honestly very calming when you've been rushing around the streets of Savannah prior to walking in the door. I highly recommend getting any flavor of latte (hot or iced) as well as their incredible Parisian hot chocolate. Both were delicious and actually worth the $6/$7 price tag! Then, you can stroll around the main level and lower level shop and admire all of the treasures. I can't wait to visit again soon!

From the name and…read morebranding, we expected more of a true Parisian café experience with great pastries, little snacks, desserts, and a cozy coffee shop atmosphere. Instead, there were only a few macarons, maybe one sandwich option, and the café itself was...pretty much nonexistent. The retail side also felt a little underwhelming. The space is nice, but a lot of the merchandise was sourced from vendors you commonly see at the larger merchandise markets, so it didn't feel as unique or curated as we expected. That said, we're still glad we stopped in if you're nearby. It just didn't quite live up to the experience we had imagined

This photo perfectly captures the exact moment Maple Street Biscuit Company on Broughton Street…read morebrought me back from the brink. Outside: biblical rainfall, no parking anywhere because it's Memorial Day weekend, and me running on fumes after a 30-hour round trip drive dropping my kids off with their father. I genuinely looked out that window and thought, "Well... this is how villains are created." Inside: salvation. I ordered the Eggstreme Biscuits & Gravy with spicy sausage gravy and added bacon for $2.99 because I trust my sister's decisions when it matters most. The bacon is NOT optional. I repeat: if you skip the bacon, that is between you and God (and she's gonna be pissed). The biscuit was soft enough to heal emotional damage and sturdy enough not to piss me off by crumbling as I devoured it. The gravy had just enough spice to wake me up spiritually. And the eggs sitting on top like they personally paid rent there? Incredible. Then came the lattes. The iced churro latte was so good I immediately got protective over it. The hot vanilla maple latte somehow tasted like a cozy fall morning and a stable mental state. I kept alternating between them like I was conducting a scientific experiment in happiness. Yes, the line was long. Yes, parking downtown Savannah took approximately seventeen business years. But one bite into this meal and suddenly I understood why every single person in there looked willing to fight for a table. 10/10. Maple Street didn't just feed me -- they restored my will to participate in society.

Seating downstairs is limited. There is a cute little nook tucked on the side that has windows so you can "people watch" as you eat. There is an elevator available to go upstairs. As an FYI, you can't get back in by using the same door used to get to it. You have to go outside and come back in through the main entrance. We ordered the bacon tacos and an iced cinnamon biscuit. The bacon tacos were delicious! Definitely recommend those! Meh on the iced cinnamon biscuit. Maybe if they served it warm, it would have been better. It was hard to cut with the plastic knife and fork.

I got their chicken sandwich, while the rest of my family got the Dubai chocolate French toast, Bubble and squeak. My grilled chicken sandwich had a vast majority of flavors varying in the sandwich. The chicken was my only set back, it came off as under seasoned and bland, while the white bread and cheese melted together with the fresh lettuce. I also got their iced matcha latte with lavender syrup, which I was heavily surprised from how flavorful and sugary it was, I highly recommend this drink to any matcha lovers out there. The Dubai chocolate French toast was beautifully put together and delicious, shared across my family. From what I heard the bubble and squeak was amazing and was not too heavy or dull in flavor and is a great vegetarian option. Overall, the atmosphere inside was very light and put together, the creme walls contrasted perfectly with the historic stone walls.
