Ricotta toast & the chicken sausage biscuit!

What a wonderful little hidden gem. Absolutely loved the food and the sammiches! Egg custard is different but very delicious and the ricotta jam toast was pretty delicious. The chicken sausage biscuit was very yummy! Highly recommend go check it out! We will be back for sure. Pretty pricey , but that's anywhere really. The orange juice I feel could be a little bit bigger for the price but it's yummy ! Maybe the portion sizes are what we're suppose to have ! Maybe that's why we're all fat and chunky ! This places knows how much we should really have :D People were super friendly and recommended wonderful things to try! We got to try some chocolate zucchini bread and it was so good ! Had a cute little side room to eat in and the lighting was great! We will be back for sure but can't afford it all the time of course.

BLT

I really wanted to like this place! Fresh bread looks amazing. I paid $34 for a breakfast sandwich and a BLT and 2 iced coffees. The coffees were made and sat for 25 minutes getting watered down while I waited for my to go food. The BLT was so small barely anything on it maybe a slice and half of bacon barely anything lettuce or tomato! Not worth the money!

Sourdough and butter w/sea salt

This place is awesome! All fresh ingredients, and super simple menu! The sourdough bread is amazing and you should definitely buy a loaf! Had the breakfast sandwich which was very satisfying. Had the turmeric tonic which felt clean and refreshing and I got a chai tea latte to go! Also amazing! Can't say or think of a enough good things to say about this place!

This is such a unique and eclectic spot. We walked out of our way to grab coffee and match and it…read morewas absolutely worth it! I ordered an iced matcha latte with honey and lavender for $8 and it's one of the best matchas I've ever had. They have a great tea selection and cute little gift options. I loved my experience here and my friends said their coffees were equally great. Would highly recommend! I'd say it's worth grabbing a seat if any are available to relax and chat before walking back through the parks. The staff were friendly and efficient. I'm happy with the service we received!

The Gallery Expresso is ideally located just off Chippewa Square in Savannah. Their outdoor patio…read moretables boast views of the Oglethorpe monument in the square, but the interior of this coffee shop is the real treat since there's all kinds of paintings, decoration, globes, and knickknacks throughout (I wish they had more coffee shops like this with some personality back home). I went with a mochaccino and pecan coffee crumb cake that caught my eye. I would rate both a 3.5/5, as the drink was decent, but nothing out of the ordinary about it, and a little too sweet. I love food items with pecans when I travel south, so was expecting something deliciously unique with the crumb cake, but felt it was just a bit above average in taste. Service was friendly enough from the baristas, but they also had a tired look on their faces after the morning rush. While the location and ambiance are amazing, I was a bit alarmed that none of the food or drink items had prices anywhere on the posted menus. I am a firm believer that you have to post prices so customers can make an informed purchase decision based on the price rather than just go along with whatever is run up on the register come payment time. The total was a bit north of $12 for both items, so not overly expensive. While I'd probably check out a different coffee place in Savannah next time, The Gallery Expresso is still a solid option for those visiting the Chippewa Square area scoping out where Forrest Gump was waiting for his bus.
