You place your order at the counter before seating yourself. The people behind the counter were sweet and helpful. We ordered the pink skies drink, which they advertised as tasting similar to a Starbucks pink drink. To me, it tasted more like a strawberry daiquiri. It was sweet and not super creamy. It had a strawberry puree, which gave it the sweet taste. The Italian sandwich had a great flavor - it had a sweet Italian dressing, mayo on the bread, fresh lettuce, cheese, and several meats including baloney, salami, and pepperoni. The bread was soft and fresh. The cucumber salad got a little soggy in the vinegar mix. They were perfectly salty, but could have been a bit more sweet for my personal taste.

My husband and I are basically part of the furniture here at this point because we eat at Plum's several times a week, and honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way. The food is exactly what you hope for in a local café -- comforting, delicious, and made with a whole lot of love. Sandwiches that hit the spot, ice cream that feels like a hug, and specials that keep things exciting without ever getting too fancy for their boots. And can we talk about the *Plum's Team* for a second? They're the real MVPs. Always welcoming, always smiling, and somehow they remember exactly how you like your sandwich, your sides, and probably even your dog's name if you you told them. Is it gourmet? No. It's better. It's *hometown heart* on a plate, and we love every bite. Highly recommend giving them a visit -- just save us a seat!

It didn't seem like too small of a portion, I was just hungry. We also got a small salad which was very fresh. The bathroom could use some attention. The toilet paper was on the floor so I decided not to use it. And heads up for families with young children of reading age, only one bathroom which has a bunch of writing and stickers, (no big deal) but a decent amount of profanity/vulgarity written on the walls. Dining room has a cool floor made of Pennies and a fun wall with mostly potato themed post it notes! My daughter loved that too. Outside: biblical rainfall, no parking anywhere because it's Memorial Day weekend, and me running on fumes after a 30-hour round trip drive dropping my kids off with their father. I genuinely looked out that window and thought, "Well... this is how villains are created." Inside: salvation. I ordered the Eggstreme Biscuits & Gravy with spicy sausage gravy and added bacon for $2.99 because I trust my sister's decisions when it matters most. The bacon is NOT optional. I repeat: if you skip the bacon, that is between you and God (and she's gonna be pissed). The biscuit was soft enough to heal emotional damage and sturdy enough not to piss me off by crumbling as I devoured it. The gravy had just enough spice to wake me up spiritually. And the eggs sitting on top like they personally paid rent there? Incredible. Then came the lattes. The iced churro latte was so good I immediately got protective over it. The hot vanilla maple latte somehow tasted like a cozy fall morning and a stable mental state. I kept alternating between them like I was conducting a scientific experiment in happiness. Yes, the line was long. Yes, parking downtown Savannah took approximately seventeen business years. But one bite into this meal and suddenly I understood why every single person in there looked willing to fight for a table. 10/10. Maple Street didn't just feed me -- they restored my will to participate in society.

Our food and drinks were ready within 5 minutes of us ordering. The Maple Chai donut is out of this world, for sure worth a try. However they got the texture of that to be the way it is, it's magic. The drink selection is not huge but plenty of options. Loved the food and atmosphere and will be back! It was pretty busy on a weekend and weekday morning so I was loitering between tables or next to the trash can for a table to open up as there's not really space between the order counter and the dining room to wait. Definitely could be laid out a bit better imo!

My husband had been wanting to try this place for a while, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The atmosphere is dimly lit, intimate, and incredibly romantic... even though we brought our 10-year-old daughter along with her tablet. lol. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming, and we felt comfortable from the moment we walked in. The menu is unique and thoughtfully curated, but they were kind enough to make an off-menu lemon butter penne for our daughter, which she happily devoured. My husband and I shared the whole fried branzino, and it was the star of the meal...perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside, and incredibly fresh. We paired it with a Caesar salad, which was simple and delicious. For drinks, I enjoyed a refreshing rosé while my husband ordered the Blood Orange Martini. Both were excellent and complemented the meal perfectly. The highlight of the evening, though, was our server, James. He brought such fun, positive energy to the table. We joked around with him throughout the night, and every time he stopped by to check on us, we found ourselves laughing. Service like that makes a great meal even more memorable. If you're looking for a romantic dinner spot with exceptional food, creative cocktails, and genuinely outstanding service, Sunday Sunday is absolutely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back.
