Fast, friendly bare bones classic American small business diner serving some of the most creative omelets on the planet, and each one delicious. A classic American breakfast spot with reasonable prices and efficient friendly staff. Places like this are a national treasure. Don't come in asking for fussy weirdo food, this is basic diner fare, with the exception of the omelets.

Two eggs, corn beef hash, grits, and a bagel.

Nothing fancy here but they cook the basics well! Casual eatery that has quick but friendly service

Great little breakfast diner in the middle of a strip shopping center! We were greeted with a friendly "Good Morning! Please sit wherever you'd like." The restaurant was clean and seemed to have it going on as far as efficiency and service. You can see the cooking taking place from your table. Appeared very clean and the cooks wore gloves. Server came immediately with menus and asked what we'd like to drink. Husband and I both asked for coffee. She brought ice water with the coffee. Ambiance was typical for a diner - a tiny bit noisy, but nothing abnormal. Pretty large selection of breakfast items on the menu. I chose a western omelette, husband ordered fried eggs and bacon. Both came with grits and choice of toast. Our server was nice, efficient, checked with us several times - although never smiled. Our food was very very good, and exactly what we ordered. We didn't experience any problems and would probably eat there again if in the area. A very good dining experience!

Had an early morning medical appointment and decided to stop here for breakfast with my wife on the way home this morning. The restaurant was pretty full when we arrived, with all the tables occupied except one in a corner of the dining room. We were instructed to sit at that table and then waited a few minutes for the busy server to arrive with our menus and take our drink orders. (That was not a complaint, just a statement of facts.) She returned shortly thereafter with our waters and coffee and took our food orders. My wife ordered the "House Omelette," which included onion, tomato, broccoli, mushrooms, ham, and Swiss cheese, with a side of grits and toast, all for $9.90. In addition to my coffee ($2.05), I ordered a bowl of oatmeal ($2.90) and a side of hash browns ($2.60). My wife loved her omelette and said that the grits were "pretty good, but not incredible." That was more than I could say for my dishes. The oatmeal was a bowl full of sticky, fairly tasteless mush, with no accoutrements such as raisons, nuts, or even brown sugar. But then again, it only cost $2.90, so that has to be taken into consideration. The best thing that could be said about my hash browns is that they were neither greasy nor served cold, (which seems to happen to me fairly frequently at other diners), but they, too, were fairly tasteless. However, my coffee was very good, and saved the morning. All in all, this is a typical diner, open for breakfast & lunch only. It is neither a poor nor an exceptional rendition of a diner-style establishment; consequently, I believe that a neutral three stars is a fair assessment and rating.

This one is called the triple decker. Look at all these fries!!

This is a great diner that also serves lunch. It's the first place I ever ate, on the day I drive here to sign a lease, the homeowner had me meet him here. Now I've been a few times and this I'd my last, until I come visit, moving back to Florida. Their food is fantastic! I'm particularly partial to the various club style sandwiches. They are BIG and sometimes I eat it over 2 meals. They serve such a heaping helping of crispy crinkle cut fries, that, even after two meals, I can't finish them! And if you read my reviews, I love me some good fries!

I always appreciate a great diner, and The Breakfast Place definitely qualifies! Service was fast, the menu was standard, and the food came out quick, right off the grill. Everything was pretty up to par with your normal diner experience. Fast service, good breakfast food (especially the grits), and a casual ambiance. I definitely recommend if you're in search of a quick breakfast around Savannah.

The Breakfast Place is like a worse Waffle House. It smelled good when we first walked in, but the area our table was in smelled gross. Here's what we got: - Coffee ($1.95): Good. - 2 Eggs with Meat (bacon), sub hashbrowns ($5.75 + 95¢): Bacon and eggs were fine. Hashbrowns were from a package. - One Buttermilk Pancake ($1.75): Fine. A little battery in the middle. - Egg and Cheese Biscuit ($3): The bottom half of the biscuit was very hard and almost impossible to bite into. Egg and cheese were fine. Service was good and quick! We were in and out in less than 25 minutes. In Covid times, staff were wearing masks, albeit one employee had hers below her nose. They don't require masks. There were syrup bottles on the table, which is gross even before coronavirus, but especially gross now. It was cheap, but the food was less than average. We wouldn't go back.

Great food and great service. My only ONE recommendation is to ask for "whole eggs". I am not a fan of eggs and milk. Makes the omelette too thin and less flavor. Otherwise everything was eggscelent . Also, DONT ask to sit at the counter. This place was packed at 10 am on a wed and we were from oot I felt like we got put in time out for asking to sit at the counter. We watched at least 6 families leave because there were empty booths and it was too crowded for people to stand in the foyer to wait. Once restaurant was about 50%clear they sat the families waiting. Also watched at least 3 solo customers leave who were also not allowed to sit at the bar. I'm from a city. This would never go over in the city. But waitresses knew and took care of the regulars and us out of towners w grace. Can't wait to come back!

Hashbrowns were great and boyfriend thinks they're better than Waffle House hashbrowns. Was expecting the burger patty to be steak. Pancakes were amazing very big and fluffy. Very fast service. Cafeteria or home-style vibe of the restaurant. Would definitely go back. Also one of the cheapest places I've been in Savannah. '

Deluxe breakfast - pancakes not shown.

Meh. I had the deluxe breakfast. Way too many grits, bacon was too thin and sausage patties too small and dry. Eggs were cooked to perfection. Pancakes were OK. My wife had the veggie hash browns (see photo), which she thought was one of the best breakfasts she's had in a while. Her meal was the only reason this place did not get two stars. Prices are great, service was good, bathrooms were dirty and needed a coat of paint. When I walked back to our table I could see food all over the floor in the kitchen area. Bottom line: plentiful quantity of mediocre food served in sketchy facility at reasonable prices. This place is not for everyone.

They are famous, seen in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. They have memorabilia and historical décor on the walls. But out midday weekday experience was not thrilling. We went for the all-breast-meat Chicken club sandwich. Fresh lettuce. Thick ripe tomato slices. Plenty of crispy tasty bacon. But the chicken was flavorless and on the dry side, with some tough bites that meant careless trimming. How about corned-beef hash eggs-Benedict with grits and a biscuit? The hash was dry. The grits were ok but ordinary. The biscuit was doughy and flavorless. If we were too late for freshly-made hash, they shouldn't have served them. We obviously weren't thrilled Well, they clearly do care enough to reply! I guess we all have off days. Yeah, i'll try them again.

First it was tempura. YAY! Most are cornmeal and the texture is weird. These were so good. It came with a pimento cheese topper. It was my first time having pimento cheese and I loved it! I had the grilled apple pie chicken sandwich. I was a little worried it would be super sweet but it was not. It was perfectly balanced. My husband had the Treylor Park Pot Pie. It was a chicken pot pie burrito/chimichanga. My husband loved the collard greens and loved his meal. All in all we enjoyed our meal and will go back next time we are in Savannah.

The online menu photos looked incredible (though I still side-eye those famous PB&J wings--maybe next time!). We chose the Treylor Park Double Wide Diner for breakfast and were thrilled we did. Pro tip: Head there early on a Sunday morning! Alcohol can't be served until after 11 a.m., so the place is surprisingly quiet and easy to get into--no crowds or long waits. We were seated right away, and our server was incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish. My husband went for The Chupacabra--a massive chimichanga-style breakfast burrito stuffed with eggs, sausage, onions, cheddar cheese, fresh pico de gallo, Sriracha, and chipotle crème fraîche, served with cheesy grits on the side. I ordered the Brunch Nachos, which sounded fun as an "appetizer"... big mistake (or the best kind of mistake!). I ordered the footlong hot dog, and it was one of the most unique hot dogs I've ever had. Instead of serving it on one bun, they split it across two buns with different toppings on each half. It also came with a generous portion of crispy waffle fries, which were excellent. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food, and the prices were very reasonable, fitting the casual diner vibe. My only real criticism was the speed of service. There were only three occupied tables when we visited, yet it took about 35 minutes for the first plate to arrive. The last person at our table didn't receive their meal until nearly 45 minutes after we ordered, which seemed unusually slow for how quiet the restaurant was. The other thing worth mentioning is that the menu varies quite a bit between locations. This restaurant's menu is heavily focused on breakfast. While the food itself was good, it would be nice if the menus were more consistent across locations. Having to research which location serves which items takes away from the convenience of a unified brand. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely return for a quick lunch. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, and the creative footlong hot dog alone is worth trying.
