Good morning, our first time to this restaurant and the food was delicious. We both had the breakfast platers 3 eggs (over medium) two pieces of bacon, 2 sausage patties, Hashbrowns and toast, side order of grits (well prepared). Apologies no pictures (I left my phone in my automobile. The service was excellent the staff excellent, we were well taken care of and never had to ask for refills. The restaurant is not very big but would not feel crowded when it was full, nice relaxing at home feel. It was a slow morning and had a chance to talk a minute with our server/owner and learned a little about their story. A very nice place and we will return. Looking for cheap quick breakfast without a crowd and Golden Breakfast was the perfect choice. I'm not sure where the Chinese/asian food comment from another reviewer came from. This is a breakfast joint indeed. Our waitress was super pleasant and very kind to our toddler. We had pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, milk...no complaints on the food, the service or the price! Doesn't seem like much when you go by, doesn't seem like much when you walk in. The food was basic and what I could've made for myself at home but I didn't want to cook at home and so the food was delicious and just right. I would definitely come back to good food. read more

Stopped in today for breakfast. Ordered my eggs over medium, first time they showed up to table barely over easy. I asked for this to be corrected, 10 minutes later i was brought over hard eggs. When I brought this to the owners attention she said "ok bye". Shocked I asked her why she was willing to loose a local customer over her cook not being able to properly cook over medium eggs today. All I got was "ok bye". I prefer to support local but I would expect a little better service. This is a breakfast place after all.. I have eaten here before and everything was decent. They lost a customer today over 3 eggs and no customer service. Im not saying dont eat here, just be prepared to eat what your given I guess...... read more

This place is definitely different. We thought it was a breakfast place and it does sell breakfast, but it's more like a Chinese restaurant that serves breakfast food. The food was okay. We ordered veggies with rice and with hash browns to try them both along with a pancake. read more

I've ordered delivery from here twice this week. It's seriously so good! I'm in love with the Philly cheesesteak omlet. The only issue I have is that they put baking paper between the food and toast when delivered. Unfortunately, the cheese from the hash browns get sticks to it, so there's no cheese left on my hash browns, and the top layer of the hash browns are stuck to the paper :( I called to let them know, but they didn't seem to care. I was told to just request my toast be separated when ordering. I would think they'd want to fix this on their end since this is a packing issue probably happening every time to everyone. read more

Staff were not wearing masks and tables were not spaced for social distancing. We picked up breakfast sandwiches to go which were tasty with perfectly crisp bacon. However, we will not return due to the lack of COVID precautions. If a business has such a lack of concern for their customers' health, they don't deserve my business. read more

Sometimes you just want a simple breakfast and this place delivers just that. Expertly prepared fresh eggs, hand grated hash browns & crispy bacon were on my order and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere is plain and a bit austere but clean. The waitress was friendly and just the right amount of attentive. This place is always empty for a reason. Wish I could give 0 stars. Absolutely awful experience. Prices were gouged, check was inconsistent with menu prices. Some of the food was inedible. Gave me a hard time when I asked them to take a item off my check that was so disgusting i couldn't eat it. The menu item was the spinach, cheese and chicken omelette made with egg whites. The chicken was clearly old and reheated (rubbery beyond belief) and the spinach was raw. Response to complaint about food quality when I asked for it to be taken off my check was "Well when I go to a restaurant I pay for my food even if it's not good". Unacceptable. I hardly touched the plate so it's not like I ate it then asked for a refund. Left furious, ripped off and hungry. read more

We stopped here for a breakfast stop returning from a beach vacation. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Our server was courteous and kept our coffee topped off. The only complaint was the wait for our food. I read a review on here and decided to respond. We eat here at least twice a month. The food here is just what you want for a Sunday morning out before your cruise through the grocery isles. If they have it on hand not only will they cook it for you but they remember what you like. Linda the waitress is a sweetie and she knows how to keep your coffee cup full. I highly suggest the omelets as there is a very good variety of them on the menu. The Tuna melts are yummy for brunch. The chicken teriyaki and grits bowl is great lunch or even breakfast. Ok....First, this place has some of the BEST pancakes I have EVER had....ANYWHERE!!!! Also, the rest of the food is prepared perfectly, right down to the proper temperature and texture when served. How on earth... I can't even begin to describe my disappointment with this breakfast place. I wanted an omelette with chicken which was ON the menu... And was told I couldn't order it because they were too busy and the chicken takes too long. I was slightly confused but I shrugged it off and just got a veggie omelette instead. Then, I waited over an hour for a veggie omelette!!! There was only maybe 12 other people Max in this restaurant when I was there. If you're short staffed, and it'll take a little longer just say so. That would be acceptable to me. But refusing menu items because of the time it takes to cook and still taking over an hour is unacceptable to me. Not to mention I read people's comment about being less expensive, UNTRUE. My meal was more expensive than 5 spot or some of the nicer establishments I've been to at this hole in the wall "café." The only reason I'd even give it a star is because the server was adorable and apologetic over the kitchens refusal to make menu items. Over all I think it's on the top 3 of my "disappointed and upset" list of visits... Unbelievable. read more
