This is an old-school diner that is only open for breakfast and lunch. It is not the best diner that I've ever been to, but it is not the worst either. It is just fine for what it is, nothing more and nothing less. Now on to the details... When I opened the front door, I was immediately greeted by the hostess/server, Cheryl, who told me to sit anywhere I'd like. I made myself comfortable in a booth and began perusing the menu, which was already on the table. Cheryl came over right away, said good morning, and asked if I'd like anything to drink as I read the menu. I asked for coffee ($2.94) and water, which was brought over straight away. I then ordered the Veggie Hash Brown Deluxe. According to the menu, all of the iterations of the Hash Brown Deluxe came with "hashbrowns smothered in onions, mushrooms, broccoli, and a choice of grilled chicken ($9.94), beef ($9.94), grilled shrimp ($12.94), ham ($9.94), or Veggies ($9.94). The menu further described the veggie option as including additional zucchini and tomato. However, when my dish arrived, there was only one almost microscopic piece of tomato in the entire serving. When I pointed this out to Cheryl, she picked up my dish, examined it closely, and stated that, yes, there was tomato in there. I suppose that technically she was correct. The issue with my hashbrown entrée was my main complaint regarding my visit. Well, that and my feeling that it was overpriced for a plate of hashbrowns with a few veggies thrown in. Other than that, everything was fine. I especially appreciated the fact that Cheryl was quick to provide refills for my coffee without me having to ask. I hate having to hunt down a server to get a second or third cup of coffee. As I said at the beginning of this review, this is a typical old school diner. My experience had both good and bad aspects to it, so I think three stars is a fair rating. read more

Maybe one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had! I understand the 30 min wait for seating on a Memorial Day. But the sh@t show that followed is epic. After waiting 45 minute for our food, I asked our waitress the status of our order. She said the kitchen was backed up any it would be anther 20 minutes before the kitchen could get to our order. My order arrive but my wife's simple order is up next. My meal was cold when hers arrived. The ticket included items we never received/ordered. $2.50 for potato's that never arrived. $4.50 for OJ we didn't order. After pointing g this error out to our server, she came back with another ticket...$4 more expensive! She said she didn't include the two decaf coffees. We asked to see the manager and she was less help. She asked when we ordered, our response was 11:30 but the ticket showed the order was placed at 12:15! That's when I approached our server about the status of our order. Apparently she didn't put in our order until then. No discount for a two hour ordeal from Hell! Avoid this place at all cost!! Omelette house is fireeeee. It's right beside our school so it's a common stop in after a nice test in the mornings to wear off the steam of studying all night and fuel up for the rest of the day. After reading the reviews for this place, i thought this restaurant would be a hit. It didn't hit any spots at all. One would assume that if you are going to call yourself an omelette house, you would make a decent omelette. They offer no side option except boxed hashbrowns or grits. What happened to authentic potatoes?! Not to mention the fatty dry bacon that's been sitting in a large pile on the side of the grill since we walked in the door. I may be spoiled with my Jersey diners however if you're going to serve me frozen sausage patties and boxed hashbrowns don't charge me $6.95 for it then have the nerve to upcharge $.75 if i opt for boxed hashbrowns. Several of the lights on the sign out front are out, the seats need to be recovered, I felt like I was going to be sliding around the floor when I entered the restroom due to something being on the floor. I ordered the veggie omelette and asked to substitute sliced tomatoes, of which they were out. Instead I asked them to include extra veggies, which they obliged. There were definitely plenty of veggies to be had in the omelette, and it wasn't overloaded with cheese, which is actually the way I prefer. For $6.99, it wasn't a bad deal.
