I had the Chimichurri steak and egg hash and it was absolutely on point -- flavorful, perfectly cooked, and fresh. My daughter ordered the Power Bowl and loved every bite. The Kale Tonic was super refreshing, and the orange juice was freshly squeezed -- which always makes a difference. Arrived on a Friday morning, around 8:45 or so. We were seated after a few minutes. We then sat for a good ten minutes before even being acknowledged. My wife sat in a puddle of water. Water was visibly dripping from the ceiling. I had drops hit me on the head and neck sitting across from her. A couple was seated next to us, and experienced the same. Every aspect of our experience was SLOW. It was as if our section was not assigned to anyone. Our server apologized for the oversight, that things were hectic. When we were seated, the place was far from slammed. She further informed us that they were aware of the dripping water, which was visible on the air registers in the ceiling, and someone was going to come out to take care of it. Judging by the stained ceiling tiles, I'd say this is not a new issue. The poor woman manning the register up front was back cleaning tables while people waited to check out. She seemed very harried. I understand and appreciate that the folks on the floor were doing the best they could do under the circumstances. Overall, not a good experience. Seems to me that if customers are being rained on, that should be a top priority. Get someone out to address the problem ASAP. If more staff is needed to handle the volume, then add more staff. I blame ownership/management for this failure. I doubt we'll be back. read more

What a gorgeous Day in Savannah to be out and about. I've been to the one in florida and was excited to go again. I couldn't stop thinking about their delicious lemon ricotta pancakes so I had to have it again. My husband had the salmon eggs Benedict which he said was ok. The service was pleasant and she was training an employee. She was nice and made some personal suggestions which we didn't care for but understood she was training. The day after valentines day, I had the pleasure of dining in. Disclaimer: this is my new favorite brunch spot, offering spacious seating, clean atmosphere and great service. When it comes to trying new restaurants, the 2 things I look for are multiple food options, and creativity on the menu. Needless to say this restaurant checked all the boxes. Not your ordinary breakfast by far! I love how they blended ingredients, that you would normally see in Spanish dishes and meshed it with traditional breakfast. We love a breakfast place that can bring some traditional options, fresh ingredients, and get everything to your table hot. Sounds simple? We're shocked at how disorganized breakfast places are and are happy to compliment First Watch. We tried the avocado toast, omelet, and bacon. All dishes (again) were fresh and served hot. Service was quick, flexible, and had zero errors. Our only constructive feedback is to pay at the table (e.g., Toast app) versus a more Shoney's (front counter) check out system. If you're sitting outside, it's hard to navigate through the crowd, get up to the register, then wait in line. I was visiting Georgia and went to the First Watch in Hinesville on Sunday morning with my friend, before i drove back to Florida. I had been to the First Watch in Hollywood, FL which was really good. But, the HInesville, GA location was even better! The ambiance was family style for sure. We ordered the Smoked Salmon and Roasted Vegetable Frittata and the Bacado Omelet and split both in half. WoW! Delicious! We know because we asked for the 2 seater instead to the right of it. Perhaps the waiter for us was busy but know one didn't address nor greet us other than the door keeper. Our experience was just okay. Seated immediately which was great and the place was clean, cute, and staff was friendly. Ordered the cinnamon churros, no cinnamon on them at all and they were so chewy and tough to eat. The salted caramel dipping sauce was good but it's probably not hard to pour caramel and salt it. For a meal I ordered the million dollar harvest hash with eggs over hard cause I can't have a runny egg while pregnant. The dish showed up with eggs that had even uncooked whites. I tried to slide them off the plate to be able to enjoy the dish without them and they broke spilling uncooked eggs everywhere. Our server came back about 15 minutes later and I had already eaten enough of my wife's potatoes to know I didn't want any other food. The hash was a mess regardless of the egg and the million dollar bacon just tasted like regular bacon. Toast not toasted, no butter for toast, potatoes border line raw, presentation subpar, and goes on. A few tables over I heard the same complaints. Such a nice place with great food and good service. It has been pretty busy every time I've been on the weekend but it's not on the weekday. It is roomy place and gives you a homey feeling. Their hot chocolate is good. Their million dollar cinnamon roll is AMAZING. it's sad because they only have that every once in a while. If they had it on their menu, I would go every few days. I always get their traditional breakfast and get the potatoes subbed for their million dollar potatoes and seriously, it is one of my favorite foods ever. I gave this place a 2 because my experience was horrible. I came in, super excited because I had heard many things about this restaurant and I was even more excited about the freshly squeezed juice. It seemed like a popular breakfast spot, so from outside, I couldn't wait to get in and see what all the hype was about. I was seated and placed my ordered which was the traditional breakfast with my eggs over medium and turkey sausage, a glass of water and the morning meditation. I distracted myself with my favorite pass time (pool) on my phone.. not realizing how much time had went by, then the waitress came to my table and said she sent my order back because my eggs didn't look good and that my food would be out in 2-3 minutes. Needless to say 20 mins later, the operations person came out and explained that my order had been accidentally cancelled, but nope.. it doesn't end there.. they finally bring my food out and the turkey sausage is cold, the eggs were runny and the potatoes weren't done. So I politely ask him for new ones, he says "sure I'll get you some well done potatoes" my response, "I just need them done", not well done, the ones I had you couldn't even cut with a fork. So he apologizes and gives me a gift card, "for my next visit" he also took my meal off the ticket. that's the reason for the second star in my review. I know mistakes happen BUT communication resolves most issues in this line of business. I am so disappointed in this experience. I wont' be back any time soon. Super busy on a Sunday afternoon brunch. You can check in on the app, but even then the app isn't quite accurate as far as when you'll be seated. We checked in and it said an hour wait, we got there an hour later and we had to still wait at least another 30-45 minutes. I would say that the reservation/check in is no good. I got the Chorizo Sunrise Sandwich because come on I can't pass up that opportunity! It looked pretty great as far as what it was though. After our wait, I was ready to eat. The decor inside was pretty much the same as every other First Watch. There was a lot of light coming through though which I guess is different to other locations. If you're looking for a brunch, this is a good spot. It always has been. But the hype of FW is crazy for this area as I think there's a bit of a shortage on brunch spots around this area. However, the sandwich I thought was pretty great, double patty and the flavor is definitely there. I ate it quickly and it was delicious. It also came with some greens, but I have to say that it was just average. There wasn't anything special about it, and I would have to say that there were some leaves that was questionable as far as the freshness. Overall, First Watch to me seems like it's all the same. If you like cold, undercooked, unseasoned food and slow, disorganized service provided by staff that would clearly rather be anywhere else in the world, than this is the place for you. If you want food worth eating go anywhere else. Literally anywhere else. Denny's at 3 am after being hit the a tornado during an earthquake would be a better experience than eating at this place. It should be impossible to ruin bacon but this place managed it. They also forgot that cooking potatoes long enough to get them above room temperature is not only allowable but preferable. I'm certain it took me longer to type that sentence than they took to "cook" my food. The only part of my dish that was actually cooked long enough was the Brussels sprouts. Of course they were burned beyond being eatable but hey, at least I know that their stove actually works. I thought it was a cool brunch spot. I'm giving 3 stars because of service. I think our server forgot about us. Granted they were pretty busy but another server was way more attentive to us and I wish I remembered her name. She actually spoke to every table on the patio. Very nice young lady and funny. I have been dying to try for a while now and everything was just ok to me. My Chickichanga probably would've been amazing had I received it hot but it was like warm and I didn't want to complain.
