Breakfast at Henry's in Pooler! Wow! Clean, great service and the food was delicious. The eggs were light and fluffy, catfish was fried crispy! Delicious

The food was absolutely delicious. Our server Chloe, pictured below was so sweet and hustled for us the whole time. Not one mistake on any of our orders and she wore a gorgeous smile every time she came to the table. The ambience of the place is really cool. We just happened to be here on St. Patrick's Day and all the walls are green so that was kind of funny. All the people that come here are very friendly and you can hear the laughter and feel the warmth of family and love all around you. We will definitely be coming here again and again.

Delicious menu.

Today I decided to visit a restaurant in Pooler GA that I have driven by many times. Henry's is a small family owned breakfast and lunch restaurant located just off Pooler Parkway. The food was very good and served up quickly, the breakfast buffet is only on the weekends I truly plan to visit back on the weekend for the buffet. If you're in Pooler and looking for good food and an affordable price then Henry's is the spot.

Went to Henry's with friends who recently moved to Pooler and was pleasantly surprised to be able to walk in and get a great seat. Decor is typical breakfast diner style, nothing fancy. We ordered off of the menu vs the buffet. Service was exceptional attentive and friendly. Food came quickly, tasted very good, and we were not pushed out to leave again. We will definitely be back!

Found this place while visiting friends in Savannah. Decided that with a name like Henry's it would be great We were not disappointed. Very busy, but we got our breakfast very quick. I had the Old Fashioned Breakfast, one egg and meat (only $5.50) includes toast and grits. My husband got Henry's Combo with hasbrowns (extra crispy) and they were the best hash browns I have had in a restaurant. They were crispy and not recooked, fresh. Clean restrooms. Friendly staff and hard working, so nice to see good workers If we lived closer we would come here more often.

Great food, and customer service but a**hole parking by inconsiderate guest. Especially for such a small area.

Decided to come here for breakfast since it's one of the only places open super early, 6:30am in Pooler. I got the chicken omelet with raisin bread- it was good. My friend got the French toast and liked it as well. It's your regular breakfast place and nothing we tried was extra ordinary. The service was good and fast. We only went there because we wanted a place to sit and talk. It's a good place to check out if you want something that you can cook at home but are not in a mood to do so!

The food at this location was okay, but the customer service really missed the mark…read more We specifically asked for a baked potato with ranch on the side, but when the food came out, the ranch was already on the potato. I pointed it out right away, and the employee responded, "I told them, but they didn't listen to me," and just walked off. No effort to fix it or take ownership. I ended up taking the potato back to the counter myself and asked for it to be remade. When it was brought back out, the gentleman who delivered it didn't say a word--no apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. What made it more frustrating is that the restaurant wasn't busy at all--we were one of only two tables there. Situations like this are easy opportunities to provide good service, and unfortunately, that didn't happen here

The baked potato was hot, fresh, and loaded well, and the sandwich was made perfectly with fresh ingredients and great flavor. It was simple food but done the right way, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable with a relaxed, easy going atmosphere. Even though it was a busy time, the service stayed friendly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Overall it was a solid experience with good food, good service, and a convenient spot to grab a satisfying meal. I would definitely come back again when I am in the area.

We walked into Georgia Comfort…read moreKitchen off I-95 on one of those gray, damp Georgia afternoons, and from the first bowl of gumbo, the weather outside stopped mattering entirely. We ordered off the menu rather than the buffet -- though both were available and the buffet looked well-stocked and genuinely tempting. My husband had the Shrimp & Grits: Georgia shrimp over stone-ground grits with andouille sausage, peppers, onions, bacon, and a sherry cream sauce. Rumor had it that was the move, and the rumor was right. The grits alone were the kind you don't stop talking about -- velvety, deeply seasoned, the kind of base that makes everything sitting on top of it taste better than it already is. I went with the fried catfish, a side of mac and cheese, and a bowl of gumbo. Honest take: the catfish itself was good -- the fish was fresh and well-flavored -- but the batter had gone a little soggy, which kept it from landing where it could have. That's the kind of thing that varies by timing, not kitchen quality. The mac and cheese, though, was exactly what you want: cheesy without being gluey, hot all the way through, properly indulgent. And the gumbo -- chicken and sausage, rich and built with patience -- was the best thing on my side of the table. On a rainy afternoon in coastal Georgia, it was exactly right. Then there was the cornbread, served with peach cobbler butter. That detail alone tells you something about how this kitchen thinks. It's not an afterthought. It completed everything around it. I'm not from the South, and I won't pretend to have a lifetime of comparison points. But there's a kind of food that makes you feel like you were born into it anyway -- like your body already knew what it was tasting. That's what happened here. Good for road trippers, families, rainy days, and anyone who needs a real meal after a long stretch of highway. Four stars, with the grits alone pulling hard toward four and a half.

My first time there I remember the workers were asking the take next to us where their missing family member was and how their kids were . This isn't just something they're doing for tips or anything , it seems they genuinely treat everyone here like family . Let's talk about the food , I always ordered the Beef Pho noodle soup , add shrimp , and pork dumplings. Nothing of this meal ever disappointed me . Everything is delicious and me and my wife can never get enough of this place . Now I'm gonna speak from my personal experience here , I always ordered the same thing every time , so maybe it's just my specific meal but it is ALWAYS so fast . By the time I get done ordering at the cashier my drinks and my food arrive at my table in MINUTES. On multiple occasions I've had the pho and sides arrive right after me sitting down at the table . And I'm not just saying that for exaggeration, and I'm hoping this is everyone's experience, but it is such a fast service for food . Whenever I'm back in the area I will always be heading for Umami .

It seemed like they skimped on the beef but there was plenty in there. It was a bit mild in flavor but truly enjoyable. The spring rolls were fabulous and really packed with pork and shrimp filling. Great job ladies! Thanks for a wonderful dinner.

The service was a little odd as each appetizer and entree came out at different times, one dish at a time and one appetizer after the entrees were all delivered. But the flavors were incredible and the service was friendly. Tom Kha Gai soup was excellent with a great coconut broth and the cup at $5.95 is huge, like a large cereal bowl. Spring rolls were great too and we loved the steamed Shrimp Rolls in a lemon teriyaki sauce. Two of us ordered the Nam Tok Beef Salad and it was amazing. My first time ordering this dish. It's similar to Laab/Larb but with beef instead of chicken. It was a tender flank steak, tossed with lettuce, cucumber, green onions and chilis. Choose your heat level, I went with spicy, just a step below the Thai spicy and it was just enough to make my nose run. You can also get it with zero spice, but that combo of hot beef, crisp cold vegetables, spicy, sweet, sour, crunchy and chewy.
