THE CLASSIC CRYSTAL BURGER* and HANDMADE ONION RINGS

Probably the best meal I had in Savannah! Service was excellent, food quality was 10 out of 10 AND would definitely go back!!!

What a great Savannah restaurant! Great food. Great indoor outdoor seating. Amazing service. I had a great local beer and a huge chicken tenders salad. We all shared an appetizer. The restaurant is large, taking into consideration the indoor area and very large area for dining outside. The Crystal Beer Palace was a great place to enjoy our last night in Savannah.

We stopped by Crystal Beer Parlor after church, and it was exactly the kind of place you hope to land on a busy day. Yes, it was very busy--but in the best way. Lots of locals, a steady buzz, and a lively atmosphere without ever feeling rushed. The service was solid and efficient, and despite how packed it was, we never felt hurried out the door. That alone is worth noting. The food delivered. My burger was tasty, well-cooked, and satisfying in that classic pub-grill way. Nothing overcomplicated--just done right. The sides were a hit too, and most importantly, the kids were happy. That's always the real test. The menu is approachable, the vibe is relaxed, and it's genuinely kid-friendly without feeling like a "kids place." This is a casual, dependable Savannah staple--great for families, great for locals, and easy to see why people keep coming back. We would absolutely return.

We heard great things about Crystal Beer Parlor and knew we had to stop in during our weekend trip to Savannah. It was quite busy when we got there so we put our name in and grabbed a drink at the bar. They have a little gift shop and outdoor seating area where you can sit while you wait so it made the time go quickly. Our table was ready before the time they quoted us and our server greeted us promptly. Service was quick and our food came out fast for how many tables were filled. We got the pretzel thats as big as a steering wheel (the menu says that) and the crab puppies (I think that was the name) for apps. Both were delicious. We got an assortment of entrees at the table, burger, some seafood, etc. Everything was hot, tasted fresh and we enjoyed it all. We had a great experience and would definitely return next time we're in town.

Got there right as it opened and followed in a mess of police officers heading for lunch. That should tell you something. The room was old-timey, but nicer than I expected to see. Bathrooms were clean. Service was on-it and management was circulating the whole time we were there. Great beer and cocktail list, good prices and quite a varied menu of the kind of local stuff you want - but not done in a shi-shi way. The food was good and the service and drinks were great.

Here at the Crystal Beer Parlor where we come every time we are in Savannah. It's located in a beautiful neighborhood and very safe. It has its own free parking and near downtown is a plus.

If you are ever in Savannah, Georgia, I strongly recommend this long-standing establishment. Great atmosphere and great food. I had a cheeseburger with guacamole, bacon, onions, and a sriracha mayonnaise with onion rings. Fantastic. The service was friendly and the place has a cool overall ambiance. The Crystal Beer Parlor is a mist stop in Savannah (at least in my opinion). Do not miss this place.

Really a 3.75. Came around 7:50 and they close at 9 (our bad) no reservations so add your name to the list and get a buzzer. Was told it would be around 30 minutes, at 8:30 I asked my partner to check on our place and he was told she scratched our name off the list...why? Our buzzer hadn't been buzzed, name hadn't been called etc. When we were finally seated service was smooth. I got the sweet shrimp with fries and coleslaw. My partner got the burger although it came basically naked the waitress quickly took it back for the correct toppings. Both meals tasted great and I was happy the late dining time didn't affect the quality. Took the peach cobbler to go and it was super warm and yummy. The space is very large with plenty of seating and tables outside to hang while you wait and do expect a wait.

My favorite spot to good for burgers, good beer selections and the nicest bartenders around. Very knowledgeable and won't steer you wrong with food choices or drinks.

Neighborhood sweetie. The food, the drinks, the bartenders Don't come unless you wanna feel at home &'have a good time

First time here and came as a walk-in party of 2. There was a bit of the wait so we found spots at the bar and had a few drinks and the fried pickles app to start. They were delicious and came out piping hot! Once we got seated I ordered the salmon BLT with a side of mash and my husband got the pastrami sand which with fries. Food came out super quick and the portions were generous. These were some of the best sandwiches we have ever had! Probably will come back while we are still in town!

This place is right outside of the beaten path, but so worth the visit. Mainly went for the stuffed crab and it was everything that was raved about in other reviews. (Do be mindful of little shells, but it's worth picking out of your mouth for the amount of lumpy crabmeat, spices, and such.) The fried shrimp were the best we had in Savannah! They were huge and perfectly fried as were the oysters. The service was super friendly and helpful having gone above and beyond to help us find a recipe for Chatham Artillery Punch that had been alluding us for three days! This is a don't miss, but remember your personal capability around the digestion of large amounts of fried foods.

    Carrot cake

Súper Rico, all excellent! Service, ambience, mountain jam burger and the classic crystal burger, Wao. And carrot cake, excellent!

Before our trip, one of my fraternity brothers told me that if I wanted some of the best Southern soul food in Savannah, I had to visit Mrs. Wilkes. He also warned me that there would be a long wait. Let me just say--he was absolutely right on both counts! We arrived at the restaurant and stood in line outside in the rain. We didn't get seated until 1:00 PM. Normally, I would not wait that long for a meal, but for the record, and I can't believe I'm saying this--it was worth every minute of the wait. The experience was unlike any restaurant I've ever visited. My wife and I were seated at a large table with approximately eight other people whom we had never met. Yet within minutes, it felt like we were dining with family. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and filled with genuine Southern hospitality. The food was simply outstanding. Every traditional Southern dish you can imagine was brought to the table and passed family-style from person to person. The home-cooked flavors reminded me of the meals many of us grew up enjoying. Everything was delicious, and the desserts were just as impressive. What made the experience even more special was the sense of community. People of different backgrounds and races were dining together, sharing food, conversation, and fellowship. The staff worked together seamlessly and went out of their way to make every guest feel welcome. While we waited in line, a gracious lady shared the history of the restaurant and the legacy of Mrs. Wilkes herself. The staff even provided umbrellas to guests who didn't have one--including me--which was a thoughtful gesture that spoke volumes about their commitment to customer service. From the food, to the hospitality, to the rich history and unique family-style dining experience, Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room exceeded every expectation. If you're visiting Savannah, this is not just a meal--it's an experience. I proudly give Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room a 5 out of 5-star rating and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Savannah.

This said, I do think there is inconsistency based on staff at the restaurant. On one occasion they have accommodated a request, and on another I was denied the exact same request. I found this frustrating. On one occasion I've also seen management talk down to staff here, which is a big no no for me. All people (especially staff) are due respect and this rubbed me the wrong way. This was an isolated incident but it definitely made my dining experience uncomfortable. Especially because I was getting excellent service from the server!!! I've always had quality service from servers here. In the future, I would come to Rhett for convenience as a hotel guest (the hotel is lovely), but would likely not spend my money if I wasn't staying at the hotel. The refund came through exactly as he said it would. To be clear, the food on my visit genuinely missed, and I'm not pretending otherwise. But Tyler responded publicly, owned it, and followed through completely. That kind of accountability is rare, and it's what earned the bump. Credit where it's due on the space, too -- the ambiance is genuinely great. Warm, candle-lit dining room, an open kitchen, a well-stocked bar, and a covered patio that had a real buzz to it. It's a spot that looks and feels like somewhere you want to be, which is exactly why I'd give the kitchen another shot based on how the owner runs this place. --- Original review (2 stars): Disappointing birthday dinner. Came in for my birthday and left underwhelmed. Our server Troy was the one bright spot -- professional and attentive all night. Caesar salad: Several bitter pieces of lettuce, and no black pepper offered or available. Faroe Island salmon: Overly buttery like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The shishito cream sauce was way too acidic -- tasted like uncooked wine or vinegar. Crispy rice cakes were bland and a strange pairing (rice blocks with salmon?). The baby bok choy was decent until the sauce drowned it out. Braised beef short rib: Tender but flavorless. The mashed potatoes tasted old, not fresh that evening. To top it off, my wife had arranged ahead of time for the birthday dessert to be brought out -- the message never reached Troy, so that moment never happened. Troy deserved better than what the kitchen sent out.

I got their chicken sandwich, while the rest of my family got the Dubai chocolate French toast, Bubble and squeak. My grilled chicken sandwich had a vast majority of flavors varying in the sandwich. The chicken was my only set back, it came off as under seasoned and bland, while the white bread and cheese melted together with the fresh lettuce. I also got their iced matcha latte with lavender syrup, which I was heavily surprised from how flavorful and sugary it was, I highly recommend this drink to any matcha lovers out there. The Dubai chocolate French toast was beautifully put together and delicious, shared across my family. From what I heard the bubble and squeak was amazing and was not too heavy or dull in flavor and is a great vegetarian option. Overall, the atmosphere inside was very light and put together, the creme walls contrasted perfectly with the historic stone walls. If you or your family are visiting savannah Georgia, I highly recommend Collins Quarter!

When we walked in, the hostesses greeted us with a smile and sat us right away. We were in a bit of a rush and our server, I believe her name was Abby, was wonderful. So friendly and our our time constraint was not a problem whatsoever. Not only were we out on time, but we had an incredible meal. The food was outstanding! I had the asparagus salad and she had the fish and chips. Both were absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back here.
