We waited at the hostess table for a few minutes. We were greatly and seated shortly after! The dining area has a good amount of seating as well as a bar area. We already knew what we wanted. We were told that the Short Rib tends to sell out quickly so we arrived around 4pm because on Saturday and Sunday they have Brunch until 3pm! My other friend ordered the Smoked Chicken Caesar salad and the Elote Dip. The Elote Dip is served cold and although not what I expected still tasty! My friend advised that the Smoked Chicken Caesar was great ! The short rib was flavorful, tender and hot. The mashed potato's and brussel sprouts were warm and not as hot as we would have like but all good! The potatoes were thick and hearty! The fried Brussels were crispy yet tender. All the flavors complimented each other! I look forward to returning! Our server was very attentive throughout our visit!

It wasn't busy and they have a very pretty bar and was fully stocked. They offer happy hour as well and their new menu began today. Brian was our waiter and was very helpful. I most definitely tried a Cosmo which was super! We decided to try the truffle fries for an appetizer and they came out screaming hot ! The flavor was perfect. I ordered the salmon and hubby ordered a burger. Everything was hot and delicious..Well done!
Second visit is as comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable as our first, about six months ago. Last time we had brunch as pictured in the Mimosa pic. This time, lunch. We chose craft IPA and house white to accompany our Taco Pizza! Good size, great surprising flavor, and an affordable lunch! What could be better?

We ordered a chicken Sammy, a pepperoni jalapeño pizza (fair warning: the jalapeños are fire hot ), a mushroom Swiss patty melt, and a small Caesar salad. The salad was unique--made with crisp lettuce, cucumbers, baby red tomatoes, a flavorful Caesar dressing, and topped with crushed pretzels. It was very good and a fun twist on a classic. I also love that they serve Mr. Pibb--a rare find! The staff explained that it's a scratch kitchen and their meats come from organic, grass-fed cows, which makes the quality stand out. For four people, our total was $80, which felt very reasonable for the quality and experience. One small note: don't drink the water--it resembles Florida water, and not in a good way. Stick with sodas, cocktails, or anything else on their drink menu. Overall, a fantastic experience with delicious food and a cool, modern vibe. Definitely worth checking out!
Decided to stop in here on a Sunday for brunch. Outstanding service!!! Our waitress was very attentive and answered all our questions concerning food and selection. I ended up getting the BLT and let me tell you they have the best bacon I've ever had! Thick maple and brown sugar tasting. It went perfect with the lettuce tomato and sourdough bread. Caesar salad was just Caesar, but overall the ambience is very clean and professional and modern. Overall, I look forward to coming back here again and trying out some of their other items.

I don't feel like it's a space for a rowdy football game, but would be a nice spot to watch a game while eating dinner. The server was wonderful, very attentive. We ordered the brussels sprouts as a starter. They looked absolutely delicious - pan fried with some sort of sauce on them. The brussels sprouts looked like they would have a crisp to them, but they very greasy. We only ate a small bit of them. For dinner my friend ordered the chicken fried chicken. The plate looked delish but the chicken was dry. I got the Ol' Texas short rib with chimichurri new potatoes and green beans. The meat was very tender but everything was overly oiled/greasy. The flavor was good, but the pool of oil at the bottom of the dish was just a bit too much.
Enjoyed dinner at Oak 36 Bar & Kitchen and was surprised! The restaurant is within the Twelve Oaks Shopping Center with Publix on Abercorn Street and offers plenty of parking. Seating is available outside, at the bar, or table service. We had great service from Maia who was extremely attentive and helpful with recommendations. They offer Happy Hour options and have a wide selection of elevated pub style bites and entrees. We enjoyed the Steak Bruschetta as a starter and it was delicious! It was late and needed a place to eat the was close to where we were staying. It was a good choice, they had no problem seating our party of seven. The girl that took care of us was wonderful. We started with a couple of brussel sprouts appetizers. I would definitely say everyone enjoyed it. I can't remember what everyone else had but there was not a single complaint from anyone about what they had. And as for what I had, it was the chicken fried chicken. It was fried chicken breast on top of mashed potatoes, topped with gravy and a side of fresh green beans. The green beans were my favorite part, they were perfect. On our way to Disney we stopped here for dinner. Staff was friendly but could use retraining. Food was delicious and would definitely visit again. Atmosphere was quiet but seemed dark inside. A little hard to see our menu. read more

Let me start by saying, I am disappointed in myself for passing this place for YEARS and never knowing it existed, let alone its greatness! It's located right off of Abercorn in the shopping center with Publix and Sephora. Now, let's talk about the food....I ordered the *Chicken Mac & Cheese... hands down one of the best I have ever had!! Now, it comes with blue cheese crumble on top but I had it on the side because I was skeptical and now a fan of blue cheese but after trying it I understood the creator's vision! Soooo gooood!! A must try. Our waiter was incredibly kind and accommodating and made our experience that much better and also recommended this dish and our cocktail. It's a beautiful restaurant too with great vibes. read more

Nice place with great service. The Mediterranean Bowl (with shrimp) was amazing. The meatballs were mushier than we would have liked. Nice tangy sauce. Bread/mini-rolls were a bit hard and dry. Excellent drink selection. Out-of-tower that likes trying new places. read more

The food was ok. I would not get the French toast again. It looked good but a little bit too much. Maybe it needed powdered suffer. The service was good and the ambiance was really nice.i didn't like the 2.5 service charge. read more

There was good food, drink, and a fantastic environment for a Monday afternoon. We ordered the fried pickles, which were great, hot, crispy and a flavorful. We also had a flat bread ( needs a little extra sauce) and the amazing Savannah Cheese steak! The service was great! I definitely recommend people to visit! read more

Was in town for work and wanted to grab some dinner with my co worker. We arrived around 7 pm on a Wednesday night, the place was packed and lively! We came on a good night because they had live music. The hostess and waiter were very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the cold smoked caesar salad. When it arrived to the table, I was surprised. There was a lid on the plate and as the waiter lifted it off, the cloud of smoke dispersed. Now I know why they call it a cold smoked caesar salad. And it definitely did have a nice smokey taste to it. This has honestly have to be the best caesar salad I've had. The white anchovies made it even more delicious. Whenever I'm in town again, I'm coming back for the Caesar! read more

Wow. Really hit the spot. Recommend the omelet and the loaded potato's! The service was speedy and our waitress was super patient as we took forever to figure out what to order. Vacationing in Savannah, Ga. this week. This cool place was in walking distance of our hotel. We walked over to the bar to grab appetizers for dinner. The bar was decorated very nicely with a modern look. It is an open room with the bar to the left as you enter. There was a plant sculpture on the wall that brought out the southern charm with a contemporary look. Our server Matt was very attentive and checked on us frequently. He was very nice and answered our questions about menu items. Great service from him. I ordered the Brussels sprouts which were seasoned and roasted. There was ample enough to share. I also ordered the truffle parmesan fries with bacon aioli. Pretty tasty with the aioli. My appetizers filled me up nicely. All in all I had a good time checking out this cool bar and restaurant. read more

Great spot & location in a cute shopping center! My friend & I stopped here for a late lunch on a Thursday. They sat us right away outside, to enjoy the spring sun before the summer heat hits Savannah. We split a BYO flatbread with marinara, basil & balsamic glaze and an O-36 Salad w/o egg. Both very tasty! It was light enough that we weren't stuffed, but enough that we could share. Service was pretty average - the gal at the front was super kind & opened the door for us each time we went in to use the restroom. Will be back if looking for an upscale lunch and/or bar atmosphere! read more

Met up with friends a few days ago and ended up here for brunch. Immediately greet by waitress who was very helpful with menu selections. I opted for a breakfast course. Absolutely delicious. Drinks were very tasty as well. Ambiance is nice and relaxing. read more

I visited on Monday, July 3rd and the place was practically empty. My preference is bar seating when I dine alone. In addition, there was a purse hook available. It's the simple things for me lol. My visit from start to finish was awesome! I tried two cocktails which were both really good. Neither of these drinks had a kick to them despite the bartender stating the peach tea would be strong. The Zesty Thai Chili Wings and fries were definitely tasty. They weren't too spicy...they were just right. There weren't a lot of patrons dining in which was surprising. Then again, it was the day before the 4th of July. I would like to see what the atmosphere looks like during happy hour which is Monday - Friday between 3pm to 6 pm. Overall, love the environment and the food was delicious. My friends tried the ceviche and a different flavor of wings which they enjoyed as well. Disclaimer: I am a part time bartender here. Omg I can say so many things about this place! I have bartended in downtown Savannah the last 13years, I have bartended in many different atmospheres anywhere from dive bars to upscale restaurants. I have to say this is one of the most, if not cleanest bars and kitchen I have worked in. The food and cocktails are amazing, wonderful selection of locally sourced food. Came here for a late lunch and enjoyed the experience! We arrived around 4pm (ok..so super late lunch/early dinner) for some eats and cocktails. They were very slow when we arrived so we were happily able to be seated right away. Our server brought us water and took our beverage order. I opted for a classic old fashioned and my dining companion went for a Manhattan. My old fashioned was strong and delish (made with Woodford Reserve). The Manhattan wasn't quite as good (I tried it)--it tasted as though it was made with dry vermouth which is not a usual choice in most bars we frequent, and we found it a bit too dry. We ordered brussels sprouts to start and then I ordered a gouda pimento cheese burger with fries and my dining companion ordered their nashville hot chicken sandwich with fries. Somehow, the order got mixed up and instead of bringing our brussels sprouts as a starter, they brought them as a side with my dining companion's hot chicken sandwich. They made it right by bringing him an additional side of fries and we shared the brussels (plus our server kindly didn't charge us for the brussels). The brussels sprouts were divine. My pimento cheese burger was hearty and delicious. The fries were crinkle cut and solid. Some small hiccups, but all in all a good first experience. read more
