Wow! Another absolutely stellar meal at Fishbar last evening. The creativity and pairing of unique and amazingly complimentary flavors sets this place apart from anything I've come across in Savannah, or many other major cities for that matter. We had a number of dishes on the menu and everyone of them was a 10. As was our amazing server Clay was with us from cocktails thru dinner. She was super attentive and knowledgable about all the ingredients in each dish and cocktail. As were the food runners. Who explained each dish, and their contents in detail as they delivered the plates. And I'd be remiss to not acknowledge the incredibly welcoming culture of every employee at Fishbar. As we walked back to the beautiful firepit adorned back patio for cocktails. Every team member we passed said, "welcome." I say team members, because this warm, welcoming, conscientious culture that permeates this establishment is a clear reflection and testimony to the outstanding hiring, management, and motivation the owner, Anthony Debreceny and his crew from Southern Cross Hospitality has created. Bravo!!

We booked seats at the chef's counter which gave us a front row seat to all the kitchen action. It's a quiet, well run kitchen with an expeditor that was poised, confident and calm. Shocking really considering how many meals they were cranking out while we were there. The food was delicious from the smoked trout dip, and the curried peanut shrimp to the striped sea bass. Fishbar's knowledgeable sommelier guided us through the small but carefully curated wine list to a perfect pairing.

I made some adjustments in my reservation schedule just to eat a this place. From my understanding, it's a newer resteraunt and is really blowing up! The restaurant focuses around their seasonal menu which I love. I wanted to come here soley for the for the full red snapper. It did not disappoint me, eyeballs and all. The menu is made up of small plates that are perfect for sharing. My mother and I shared the tartare and scallop as appetizer. They were both unbelievable. The scallop featured a callabrian chili oil that provided the right amount of heat. The surpising standout of the meal was the cabbage that was grilled. Who knew cabbage could taste so good! The staff treated us so well and even had a hand-written birthday card for me! I looked at their current menu and I am already planning my trip back!

Complimentary champagne for our anniversary, oysters, mussels and scallops. Everything was excellent !!

This place is amazing !! My wife and I just went there for our 17th anniversary and they treated us like royalty. The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable and Emma (at the bar) went over and above. She was incredible, her recommendations were on point and she really took care of us. This place is a gem, it has a large area for bar seating, plenty of tables for dining and a beautiful outdoor seating area as well.

The weight was so worth it! Everything about this restaurant is perfection! The staff the ambience, and of course the food! Our server Lily was amazing and she was very friendly and just perfect! For starters we had the oysters with all the toppings the were delicious! For my main dish I had the grilled rainbow trout which was cooked to perfection! My boyfriend had the snapper and it wasn't my cup of tea but I think that was because the head was still attached, I would highly recommend this restaurant but definitely get a reservation if you can! 10/10 stars!

Amazing restaurant and one of the best meals we've had in Savannah. Sat at the chefs counter and spoke with the chefs as they cooked and they told us certain meals they were making. This was helpful when picking out food choices. The waitress was super helpful with our selection and her recommendations were excellent. One of our now favorite places to go in Savannah

Overall: 4/5 A great experience and worth visiting--just not necessarily a place I'd rush back to on repeat. Reservations are a must unless you want to wait 1-2 hours for a table. Food: 4/5 * Oysters: 5/5 Exceptionally fresh, and the sauces are the real star. Try all of them. * Bread: 4/5 Baked to order and delicious. The butter is a bit heavy-handed, but it's worth asking about off-menu butter options. * Salad: 4/5 Exactly as expected--solid, but not memorable. A nice way to balance out the richer dishes. * Shrimp: 4/5 Well-cooked and flavorful on its own. The accompanying salad works, but the sauce doesn't add much. * Scallops: 5/5 The highlight of the meal and a must-order. If you're dining as a pair, get two orders. * Snapper: 4/5 Technically impressive and well-executed, but ultimately underwhelming. The sauce--similar to the shrimp--doesn't elevate the dish, and the pickled elements could use more brightness and restraint. * Flan: 3/5 Decent, but skippable given stronger dessert options. * Tres Leches: 4/5 A better choice than the flan--enjoyable and satisfying. Drinks: 4/5 A thoughtful program with a solid by-the-glass wine selection, though nothing particularly standout. Atmosphere: 3.8 Close to a 4-5, but the layout holds it back. Tables feel cramped and oddly positioned--especially near the entrance and host stand--and it's easy to overhear neighboring conversations. The courtyard seems underutilized and could improve spacing if used for additional seating. The expeditor station also feels too close to the chef's counter, slightly detracting from the experience. Think light background music would help too. Restrooms are nicely done. Service: 4/5 Service dropped off towards end of the meal and when it got busy. Server was knowledgeable and friendly. Runners didn't seem knowledgeable about what they were dropping off to our table.

Found this restaurant on an Instagram reel. Went in and sat at the bar. Three hours later, we left... full, happy and totally ready for our next trip to Fishbar!!! The bartenders were INCREDIBLE and put on a show for us! Amazing! Food was out of this world! Bravo all around! Can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful evening at Fish Bar. We sat at the bar and Emma took amazing care of us. She was an absolute delight from start to finish. Cecelia also stopped by with thoughtful recommendations that we're so glad we took. We started with the oysters with fresno chile, the bread with crab butter, and the tuna crudo. Highly recommend ordering both the tuna crudo and the bread. The crab butter is incredible on its own, but dipping the bread into the sauce from the tuna crudo is next level. So good. We also tried the cabbage with sea urchin sauce, which was absolutely delicious. For dinner, we ordered the mussels and the scallop. Both were beautifully presented and just as delicious as they looked. For dessert, we had the miso chocolate torte and the flan. Both were fantastic, but the miso caramel ice cream truly stole the show. It is completely out of this world! I also tried the Agua de Gilda cocktail. I was slightly hesitant about the anchovy wash, but you genuinely would never know. It was light, refreshing, and easily a 10 out of 10. We can't wait to come back and hopefully grab a seat on the patio next time. It's such a cute space back there. Perfect place for a date night! Edit: I would like to add on that on my second visit Maren was a true joy and took great care of me. La Melon Rouge was very refreshing and the calamari was delicious.

While most of the rooftops are regularly accessible to the public, there's something about Myrtle & Rose which has caused it to elude us. Often, it has been closed for a private party, or perhaps it was full. In any case, we finally were carded and sent up the elevator with the slightly aggressive doors. Yes, they close fast. Keep a move on! We were offered a table overlooking the river and served by Will. My wife enjoyed her Amber Hour, and I an old fashioned. I suppose they don't want us getting tipsy and falling off, since my drink may have had 2 or 3 ounces. A good little taste, but not for long for this Wisconsin boy. Let's not go down the road of it being a "real" old fashioned -- I know and enjoy both kinds. (You must when you also own a distillery.) The two shining points of the evening were the view and our server. This spot offers a nice, close-up view of the river from both directions -- perfect for the occasional ships passing in the night. Our server, Will, was very professional, attentive, and thoughtful. By the end of the 50° night, Will had brought a blanket for my wife. While we can handle below-zero temps at home, there's something about 50° on vacation that gives us the shivers. Perhaps it was the dress -- I'm not sure, since I wasn't the one wearing it tonight. Anywho, finally a great experience was had at this well-done rooftop bar.

Overall, it was a great time with a really nice atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking to get a. Nice drink.

They also have a few beer options if you are like me and would prefer that over wine. We typically get the Caesar Salad as I think its the best thing on the menu but last night we mixed it up and got some of their new offerings - the shrimp, squash and mushroom rice. Not sure how they worked their magic but the shrimp seemed almost calamari-ish and was pretty unique. They also have a happy hour before 6pm and some of the items are discounted including oysters at 2.50 each which is hard to beat. It is not a large place so reservations are recommended. We typically like to sit at the bar but when we went last night, the bar was already packed. About 10 minutes after being sat, some spots opened and the host came back to ask if we wanted to move to the bar. We declined but it was a very nice gesture and just goes to show how nice they are to their guests. Cannot recommend this place enough!
