I was at the salon for 2.5 hours just to come out with this. While the lady was doing my nails, I was telling her how I liked them and she just didn't fix them like I told her to. After I told her I didn't like them she just brought a different lady over to try and "fix" them but clearly she didn't. I told her I did not like them and she still charged me $55. Not only did she cut me, but the polish also blended together and left a nasty residue of pink over what is supposed to be nude. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted really. read more

This place SUCKS! I hate saying this but the place is so disgusting!! The workers are so rude and they would do a shitty ass job if they get mad at you just for telling them you want a simple manicure. They are so busy that don't even clean or disinfect nothing they use. I have not been in a nail salon in a long time just because the last one I went to gave me a Nail infection. It's pretty gross what can happen to your nails if somebody does not clean their tools like they supposed to! Imagine all the people that go get their nails done and some people don't even clean the tools after. Save your money or try a different nail salon. I asked him how much for removal he said 15 I said all right I'll take them off myself, I said, and then he ignored me. A bunch of ladies came in. He was nice to them asked him what color they wanted to get but with me he ignored me for 10 minutes then comes over and he's like did you get them off, nobody came towards me talk to me for a while until I said something and he comes to me with an attitude and starts talking very loudly in front of everybody just because I said I don't want to pay $15 to remove some press on nails that I have on I said maybe $5 but 15 is ridiculous then proceeds to kick me out of the store when I said nothing rude to him and I believe because it's my color and I came in with my server uniform. Great service, but they need to enforce masking rules better. Everybody except one employee trying to chitchat and this other entitled, miserable lady had a mask on. The Governor made masks law on Friday and they have a sign on the door. I had to ask to be moved so my anxiety wouldn't take over and make me panic. This virus is real and it's irresponsible to have your mask on your chin when you're talking on the phone (fussing at her poor husband for like 10 minutes) and you're around other people indoors. I just moved to the Plano area and saw some of the glowing reviews from the people here and on Google Reviews so I thought I would check it out. It was 20 minutes from my home but I figured I would still give it a try. I always get acrylic tips with gel polish and have done this for 10 years without issue. When I first arrived and sat down the nail tech insisted on me getting the dip powder, I hate the dip powder and had to refuse after he asked me to change my mind several times which was very frustrating. In the end my nails turned out looking nice and he was very efficient. However, I got my nails done on Sunday and on Sunday night one my brand new nails just chipped off and the following morning I see that the gel polish is chipping off of my other nail. Yesterday I drove 20 minutes there in rush hour traffic to have them fixed, luckily the gentleman who fixed them was very kind and fixed them no problem. However, it is now Tuesday, my nails are two days old, another nail has broken off and the gel polish is chipping off of 3/10 of my nails. I also work from home so there is really nothing that happens in my life that would cause these to break or chip on their own. I have never in my life had my gel polish just chip off. I am so disappointed as I cannot keep driving 40 minutes round trip for nails that should have lasted three weeks without issue. read more

So I guess I have to find a new nail shop. I have been going here for the past 3 years. I have never had an issue until today. I asked for a polish change and the guy did just that nothing more. I asked him to file my toe nail evenly and he didn't. Wasted money. My daughter wanted her nextgen nails taken off and the lady didn't soak them properly she just used the utensil and took them off and hurt her nails to the point she cried. I tried to explain to Steve what happened and he basically shooed me off and tried to argue with me. Sorry but the customer is always right. Got gel from here and it ruined my nails. The gel seemed really old and and the girl doing my nails rushed through the entire service. She drilled my nails paper thin and cut them all down way too short. When painting my nails she haphazardly painted them and she didn't even let my nails process when having me place my hands in the uv machine. She would have me place them in there for about ten seconds and then take them out. My nails started chipping and breaking badly in less than a week and when I went back to tell them they were very rude and said that gel is not made to last. If I wanted my nails to chip in one week, I would have gotten regular polish and not paid the extra money to get gel. After that experience I decided I won't be coming back here anymore. read more

Update: 7/5/16 I gave this place a second chance because my friend was bragging about them and I'd forgotten about the manicure I'd previously received there. I came for a pedicure and the lady was very professional. She was super attentive to my wants and needs and offered me a beverage as soon as I sat down. No cuts on my cuticles this time. Yay! I love this place! This the first and only nail shop that I've been to since moving from Los Angeles. I refuse to go anywhere else. I had a wonderful first time experience at Plano Nail Bar. I didn't catch the names of the 2 nails techs I had. It both were great! My manicure went very well and my gel polish turned out beautiful, love the color. My pedicure was very relaxing and my feet feel amazing. Also got the get polish on my toenails and it turned out awesome. I chose the hot stone massage and it was well worth it. My legs and feet feel so much better. Although I live in Allen, I will definitely be back. I love that they except walk ins, I didn't have an appointment today and hey were able to get me right in, even being Spring break. I was disappointed with this place after reading all the positive reviews. This place was extremely dirty and I noticed right when I walked in. I had an appointment and was rushed and stressed to find a nail color which they didn't have (chose one from their book) Then, they didn't have the second color I chose. Finally had the third color. The nail polish sample book was disgusting and falling apart, there was grime on every surface, the pillow they gave me was dirty like it hasn't ever been washed and the gel light machine was falling a part so I had to hold it together for myself. I paid $70 which I would have been okay with if it was a decent service and clean environment. When there are a lot of people touching things, you've got to make sure to at least wipe down. I suggest they invest in their products and up keep of the store. I will not be going back... too many other good nail salons! read more

This was my second visit and I thought it would be better but it was not. I requested a pedicure and a fill for a set, the tech on my hands was WAY TOO AGGRESSIVE.. he would slap and tap my hand when he wanted me to switch.. like who does that. His name was Ben. I told ben I'd like to get stiletto shape and when he was done I was displeased so I asked him to make them more sharp and while he was condescending he repeatedly said "ha perfect" every time he showed me the finished product... it was NOT perfect. Irritated at this point I'm ready to leave. My pedicure lady was great. Thank you Lynn. I will NEVER RETURN. My pointer is broken only 2 days after service. This place will scam you. I came here with my sister a while back and only wanted a regular mani and pedi. 1. The woman who was doing my toes was really rude. I said hi to her and she ignored me. I asked her not to buff my heels since I am super ticklish, she did anyways, and when I started squirming she acted pissed off. 2.She cut my toenails SUPER short. About a week later I got an ingrown toenail on both my feet. 3. Some woman came by and gave me a brochure on the "specialty pedis" they offer which are really pricey. I said no thanks, just a normal pedicure. When I went to check out, they told me I owe $100. When I asked why it was $100 they said I bought a specialty pedicure which was priced at $70. So between the rude staff, the infected toenail, and being conned $70 it's safe to say I'll never return and strongly advise you all to do the same. There are at least 20 other nail places in the area who will take care of you and not cheat your wallet!!! read more

"I ask for strong hands and hot water for my pedicure" DIDN'T GET THAT, instead mid-warm water and prissy hands. After telling the lady repeatedly what I needed, I ask for someone else. Came here tonight with my sister in law firm the first time to get my fingers and toes ready for my wedding... Not satisfied with my nails at all. The guy started them then left to go do someone else's... like okay. That's soooo rude. Then I'm waiting for with three nails on my hand and he sends someone too help me. And she starts then cuts them way too short and I asked for a oval and they where not oval at all. More like a blob. So then when she finishes that hand she starts on the other hand and the guy comes back and sends her away. And starts doing my nails again... and then that hand the powder was wayyyy too thick.... then he moves too the other hand and starts filing them and I tell him I don't like them because they are too short and he gets an attitude about having too fix them. And the other hand looks like crap as well. So by this time two hours in I'm just over it. So I say whatever. And then ask them too put I do on my ring finger. And he calls three different ladies over to do it. Like tf?! Then the lady re does it 5 times. My nails are crooked. Uneven half are too thick the other are too thin and indented. I've NEVER gone too a nail salon so bad. And I've been to 10 different ones in the plano and garland area. I'll stick too lee nails. My pedi is almost perfect though!
