Sneakily added a 3.x% surcharge for credit cards at payment which was not disclosed. I was really looking forward to this pizza because I'm a huge fan of butter chicken, so of course I'd be interested in that in a pizza form. Unfortunately, the dishonesty completely soured the experience. Ordered on the Slice app for some deals and ended up with a medium pizza and wings. I thought the wings would be bone-in, but they ended up being boneless which was a little disappointing because they didn't specify on the app, it just says 10 wings. The Twisted wing flavor was good, but I wish there was more seasoning on the wings because without it, they were just plain boneless chicken bites, nothing too special. The pizza, however, was unique and I enjoyed the different toppings. I got the Mediterranean Combo which had gyro slices, marinated chicken, olives, mushrooms and red onions. The dough wasn't a thin New York style, but it also wasn't super bready, just a classic American style. I would go back to try other combos. Although the app said the order was done, I still had to wait about 5 more minutes when I got there. Inside is very clean and brightly lit with a couple of tables (20 seats). I signed up for a Facebook promotion for first time customers who visit the store. It's a promotion for a completely Free pizza, according to the business chat, with nothing else to buy, I was told the free pizza is on my account and all I have to do is visit the store and let them know and they will place the order for me. I called the store to confirm this and was told that it is only a BOGO offer. No where in the business chat or the advertised promotion did it mention that. Good times again. This was my third visit. My second, I missed Nate and his wife, Nidhi, since it was their day off. His brother was there in his stead that second time. He was good servicing his customers, but not the Warriors fan like his bro. That second time I had the non-traditional pizza of Spicy Beef Lamb Kabob. I opted for the original hand tossed crust in the medium size. It's usually big enough to take some home, but it was delicious enough that I ate all of it instead. First time having lamb on a pizza, and it was a stellar first experience. But this third visit, Nate and Nidhi were there. I ordered the Trio Pizza Special in the pan crust (Deep Dish) style. It was a special coupon of $21.99 for a medium. FYI, the coupon isn't easy to find. You need to click on the generic menu tab, then look for the coupons rectangle. Hopefully, it will still be there if you look for it. The Trio is pepperoni, sausage and bacon. It was an scrumptious combo. The pepperoni and sausage did their expected trick, but the smokie, lightly crunchy bacon took it to another level. Also, the crust was pillowy soft and delightful to chew. And both Nate and Nidhi came out again to watch the Warriors game with me. As the NBA season is winding down and even though the team isn't what they used to be, watching with Nate, Nidhi and a freshly baked Pizza Twist pie still infused my night with championship vibes. read more

I ordered the family deal, one pepperoni and one italian sausage pizza. As I warned my son, cheaper pizza will always be that and it was, but I gave them a shot. All you can taste is the tomato paste sauce. The crust, meats, vegetables and cheese have little flavor. This is wasteful pizza for kids who have no taste. If you want crappy pizza, this is your place. My son said the cookie pizza is weird. We both thought it was ok as far as flavor, but dry. The pizza here is absolutely delicious and unique. I love their "fusion" menu, which somehow combines pizza with the flavors of Punjabi food. It seems like it shouldn't work, but it does. A balance of sauce and cheese and taste. We had sausage, 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni. and chicken tikka masala. All tasted yummy. Husband said chicken tikka didn't really taste like chicken tikka but tasted good anyways. And the best, we had the chocolate chip cookie pie dessert to top it all off! Finally a pizza place that serves a twist of indian style pizza in Berkeley! If you don't feel like choosing one type of pizza you can half it meaning 1/2 the pizza could be a tikka masala and the other half could be butter chicken! The owners here really try to keep the place clean and are always available to help you if needed. The ingredients on the pizza are fresh and I love that when the pizza comes out, it looks vibrant with color! Highly recommend trying if you are ever in the area! read more

Got a modified Chicken Tikka Masala pizza from here and the chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful. I was impressed with the freshness of all the ingredients, as well as all their special offerings, such as gluten free, vegetarian, cauliflower crust etc. The owner is super friendly and accommodating. I told him that I had picky kids and he modified the spice level as well as the vegetables included. Terrible experience ordering for delivery last night. Took a lot of time ordering a Pizza as we wanted it, Small size Twisty Favorite Supreme with pepperoni, sausage, garlic chicken and veggies. Was excited to try for the first time, especially after seeing all the good reviews. Well, this tiny burnt cheese pizza is what I actually received for $30 including tip. I got a refund fron Uber but had to spend all last night calling them 3X as I kept getting random charges on my card for this order after the fact. I know that's an issue with Uber not the restaurant, but the restaurant never responded to me or the review/feedback I posted. Don't know if this was the driver's fault leaving me the wrong order or it was the restaurant that messed up, since they never responded.
