We decided to give this place another try after having a bad experience with their takeout 5 years ago - it was during the pandemic so we figured maybe by now they'd found their footing. Unfortunately the food was just as bad and overpriced as the first time, I really don't understand how this place is so well reviewed. We both ordered 310 Burgers, one on the regular brioche bun and one on a lettuce wrap. The lettuce wrap came in two steamed, wilted pieces of iceberg, while the brioche bun was untoasted, foamy-textured and soggy. Both medium burgers had the consistency of boiled meatballs. The bacon jam was decent, but the overall experience was wildly unappetizing. We also both got plain fries, which were somehow greasy and dry at the same time, and instantly turned stale as they cooled down. We really hoped for this place because it's conveniently located, and all the other decent burger spots nearby have closed, but sadly we won't be giving 310 Eatery a third try. read more

The customer service of this place is an automatic 5 star. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were warmly greeted and seated. It wasn't just a simple welcome; it felt like I was being invited to someone's home. At the moment I realized why this place has such a high rating and excellent reviews. With just a greeting, a customer's experience can already be elevated to a high point. Throughout my dining experience, I witnessed the staff's interaction with their customers and everyone here seemed like family. This restaurant is definitely a local go-to and it really shows how the surrounding community adore this place. For the food, it was of course made with so much passion. Their menu and dish names pays tribute to various locations of the area, which I find very interesting and clever. Their bacon jam fries reminds me of Animal Fries from In N Out - sweet, savory, and addicting. Their burger was huge. I had to squeeze it together so I can properly take a bite. The burger was bigger than my mouth can fit but I noticed it wasn't quite like the picture on the menu. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing or my memory is fading already lol. We slid open the door from the brewery and ducked our head in and we were immediately greeted by someone who gave us menus and told us to come right back when we were ready. My son had the Dux Sliders twice. The first time, he had them with the regular bun. Then later in the night, he had them with the pretzel bun which he loved even more. I had the Pineapple Puck Fried Rice with an added fried egg and jalapenos. The pineapple made the fried rice a touch too sweet for me but overall, the dish was really good. Stopped by 310 eatery after drinks at matchpoint brewery. We were welcomed in and seated at a booth, the staff were so friendly, helpful, funny, and overall lovely. And the Food. Was. Amazing. I had the Poboy with seafood and added an egg and it was delicious, perfect amount of savory and not fishy. My partner had the 405 traffic jam, and it was delicious, with layers of savory flavor,. We shared the bacon jam fries, and I highly recommend those because they are sweet and rich, and we finished them all so fast. The easygoing friendly family owned eclectic vibe is the reason to come here. It was $70 for two burgers and a shake and a $5+ fries. Ridiculous because the burger and shake were quite small. Decent tasting burgers but nothing special. The Albany burger said "all the fixings" but it only had skimpy lettuce and some grilled onions. If there was tomatoes it was such a tiny amount it was unnoticeable. We literally couldn't find tomatoes. The photos for the restaurant food are absolutely false. They "upsell" you on "do you want cheese? Grilled onions? Seasoning?" Etc without telling you it costs extra, too. That stuff should be included in the high prices. If we go again we are wise to the upcharges and will ask for more lettuce/tomato etc. read more

First time dining at 310 Eatery in Albany after visiting Rosie the Riveter National Historical Park on Memorial Day. Unfortunately, many of the surrounding restaurants were closed on Monday but 310 Eatery was a further drive but open! It's been awhile but I believe 310 Eatery used to have a pop up at Mad Oak in Downtown Oakland. Menu is quite eclectic with dim sum and other Asian items mixed in with hamburgers and sandwiches which is a nice option. The plan was to have brunch but the breakfast menu is only available on weekends. Walk in and staff friendly and welcoming. I opted for the 310's Street Burger with bacon jam. I do like the combination of sweet and salty and the option to get your burger rare! Yes! A decent burger but wasn't smothered in bacon jam as noted on the menu...more like a dollop that didn't add much flavor wise. Friend ordered the fried chicken sandwich and really enjoyed. Fries are extra...I asked for the thick cut fries with an up charge from the shoestring but wouldn't call them thick cut. More like regular fries. Many options of craft bottled/can soda which is a plus. I know costs for everything has gone up so expect to pay $18 for a burger with cheese with an added cost for fries and drink. Not an issue and expected as we all have the choice to dine out or make at home. If in the area, would stop for breakfast as eyeing those Japanese soufflé pancakes. We had just finished having a Mexican meal down the street and thought we'd comeback and try this place for just a small bite to eat. I ordered the Little Tokyo Po'Boy that has lightly deep fried Japanese style Soft Shell Crab. One thing about this place is that they can be very creative with what they have on their menu. It was light and I'm glad I tried it out. We also had Good Ole' Egg Rolls. Two which were bacon wrapped. They were smallish in nature but what do you expect for eight bucks? Both items we actually took next door to Match Point Brewing where we had a beer. There is a sliding door that permits you to gain entrance to this neighboring establishment. What a nice hidden surprise! I was checking out Match Point Brewery which is connected to 310 Eatery and decided to order some food. The server from 310 Eatery brought me some menus and when he noticed I had my pup with me, he told me about the "dog patty" 310 is known for. They make a plain patty just for pups! I ordered the Har Gow and Pork Shui Mai for myself and the dog patty for Max. The Har Gow were filled with fresh shrimp and the Pork Shui Mai had pork, shrimp, and mushrooms - they were delicious! Max devoured the dog patty, so I'm guessing it was also delicious. I would definetly recomend stopping at 310 to grab some grub! read more

By far one of the best places to go in the bay for food and service. The owners are amazing and remember everything from you order everytime you come to every little detail that you tell them. They really do put passion in getting to know you and making sure you feel at home. For the food though, you really can't go wrong with anything on their menu. My personal favorites are the 405 traffic jam, and bacon jam fries. If you happen to catch their breakfast menu, their pancakes are so big and to die for. I have been wanting try this place for a while finally made it in on a Thursday evening. When we arrived only one other customer inside. Jan seated us right away and Gil brought us waters and took our orders. My husband got the Albany burger and the Hollywood fries he was very happy with his food. I tried both and agreed that they were good. I had the pad Thai with chicken it was delicious i didn't even need to add any soy sauce. The sesame balls were fresh and delicious too. I can't believe I've been sleeping on 310 Eatery, what a deliciously fun spot! Sharing their space with Matchpoint Brewing, we enjoyed the huge menu offerings including the 310 Street Burger (yes to the bacon jam!), Beef Noodle Soup, Thai-Town Iced Tea, and new nightly dim sum treats! Such a unique fusion of Asian dishes and comforting classics. Fun fact: 310 also serves soufflé pancakes ~ because of the way they are made, it's asked that you allow time for production & the pancakes tender/love/care..so calling ahead of the weekend you're coming in to place your order is greatly appreciated! Everything we consumed for dinner here was so good. The burger was instagrammable, my husband's noodle dish was packed with comforting flavor, and the dim sum is so fun and yum! The family ownership here is what truly sets this spot apart from other eateries on San Pablo. You can get a sense of the love and compassion they have for each other, the community, and for serving overall great food to the masses. The second time was a pleasant surprise to find the partnership with math point brewery (our destination). It was nice to see the expanded menu with the addition dim sum and other dishes. The service at this family owner restaurant is wonderful. We were fortunate to be greeted and waited upon by the caring, sweet, motherly owner. She made us feel very welcome. For appetizers we ordered the shishito peppers ($10) and the 50/50 egg rolls (two of the four vegetarian egg rolls are wrapped in a piece of bacon) for ($8). The shishito peppers were fantastic! perfectly cooked and sprinkles with zesty salt (tajin?). The accompanying was very good but they gave you far too little. Conservatively used, we ran out half way through the appetizer. The egg rolls were disappointing, however. The wrap to filing ratio was very bad. There was hardly any filling in them and they were bland. Sad... but the wrapped in a strip of bacon were somewhat saved by the saltiness of the bacon. Our main dishes included fried rice with pork belly add on ($24) and an order of wedge fries with all the add-on toppings (hotdog pieces, some fried chicken, chili and a piece of pork belly) for $26. The fried rice was flavorful. You can tell that it was made with care. The portion, however, was a kid's portion and not worth it IMO. The "loaded" wedge fries were smothered in a cheese sauce. They were good although very rich and heavy which made it difficult to get through them. The take away for us is this: generosity of service and nice family vibe with a fresh fusion take on mostly tasty food but the generosity begins to decline after the service and fresh ingredients. We would love to see this business thrive. They have a good concept going. A couple of minor changes would guarantee of future visits from us: rethink the egg roll filling, increase some dish portions a bit (fried rice, add one more dumpling - four instead of three per order. what is a couple to do with three?) read more

When to 310 Eatery on Thursday evening. I finally tried the 410 traffic jam!! Wow... it was fantastic! Tho so big no one could open their mouth that big to actually take a bite of the entire thing! I had to deconstruct it a bit. I removed the onion rings and mushroom. The portobello mushroom was delish! Almost like having a second patty on the burger. I ate that and then tucked into the burger. We lived in El Cerrito for a couple years and we just discovered 310 Eatery. We love it for so many reasons: 1) it is where East meets West: you can get dim sum and burger at the same time so it allows me (who loves dim sum) and my partner (who loves burger) to be happy at the same time; 2) needless to say, food is AWESOME! Love seeing Asian fusion restaurants, but prices are usually kinda insane as well at these kinds of places. Not only do they have burgers and other bar food, there's also a dim sum menu and other classic Chinese entrees going for twice the price you'd see in an average Chinese restaurant. I'm talking $4 for a single cha siu bao. Maybe the Chinese dishes here are great, but I'm too poor to pay just to find out. I ordered 310's Street Burger ($17) with cheese (+$1). Yes, I also think that's a very expensive burger, but I get a little crazy sometimes. You can immediately see how the meat to bun ratio isn't great. The patty is pretty small and placed in the center, but a lot of empty bun surrounding it. I hate having to take a few bites of plain bread before getting to the meat. But once I made it to the meat, everything was absolutely delicious. The bacon jam especially did a great job enhancing the flavor. But value wise, I don't think this is something I'd choose to have again. I actually left still feeling a bit hungry. read more

LA themed restaurant. Low key and comfortable atmosphere. A little hard to find because they only had a sign outside. I just looked for the wisteria. I got the traffic jam burger. It was huge and juicy. I had to get Cactus Cooler, which was reminiscent of younger years, living in SoCal. But they do have a large selection of drinks. I def want to go back and try their other ginormous burgers. We also got a street hot dog. My kid just wanted cheese, and they were accommodating enough to have a medium sized bowl of nacho cheese on the side. The fries were good. They had a good seasoning. Came across this place on Yelp. Decided to try it out. It sounded very LA. And if there's one thing I miss living in the Bay, it's comfort food from LA. Street parking, but free and easy to find. I believe the couple owns the place and they are very welcoming right when you walk in. Ordered a lemonade and you can tell it's freshly squeezed and not overly sugary. To start, had the pork belly sliders. The pork belly was seasoned and cooked well. The slider bun was nicely toasted as well. Also had the pastrami chili cheese fries. I don't think it's necessarily an LA invention, but it's popular at many mom-and-pop burger spots. Having ordered this, the owner asked what part of LA I was from as 9 times out of 10, they're from LA. Their pastrami is ordered from LA as well and had tons of flavor. Chili was not your typical canned chili. Nostalgic all around with this. Got the Hurry Curry burger. Solid burger. Cooked medium with lots of flavor that isn't overbearing. The Red Coma fries (chili cheese fries with pastrami) were interesting to try once, but I wouldn't do it again; $16 is just too expensive for what you get. Go for the regular fries ($4). I'll make this allowance: It could be that we just needed to know what and what not to order. But what we did order was only average. Parking was free on the street -- always a bonus. I recently stopped by 310 Eatery for the first time to have dinner before a show at the Ivy Room, a nearby music venue. It was one of the best dining experiences I've had in some time. I ordered a cheese burger with bacon and crispy onions and a side of tamarind fries. (The fries were recommended by a fellow diner and are a must have IMHO.). The entire meal was simply delicious. Gil, the owner, helped me navigate their expansive menu, and the entire staff was attentive but did not hover. In short, I think the 310 Eatery is the essence of what a very good "locals" restaurant should be !
