Management was rude and unresponsive to our complaint our pizza had clearly been dropped. All the toppings had slid off the pizza slice. When we called to complain about the condition of the pizza, we were told it was not their problem. We were told we had to call Uber Eats we will we do not recommend this establishment. We have ordered from here twice while having events and each time the food is prepared to our asking and able to feed a small army of people. We get a mix of pizzas, wings and salad each time we order and we have more than enough food for people to take with them afterwards. We go with a mix of pizzas that seem to run the menu so you get a taste of everything. We have had the Unique Pizza, Vegilicious Pizza, and Chicken BBQ Pizza at our events. It is a good mix to allow for people to choose which they prefer. Lemon Pepper Wings seem to be the way to go if you want to get a tray. They are evenly seasoned and about 60 in a tray. The only thing I can make a complaint about here is the salad. It has nothing to do with the size of the salad as it is huge. But for the price that you pay for the salad tray you would think that they would supply more dressings for everyone to enjoy some dressing on their salad. When you place a large order they usually supply tableware: napkins, plates and utensils. Nice little bonus if you place a large order. read more

Ordered late night delivery from here and the food was mediocre, but I give it three stars for its convenience and availability for late night delivery. They had a BOGO free deal for mozzarella sticks. We also ordered chicken tenders and fries. Food was on the greasier side and there was no option to select sauces. I'm glad the mozzarella sticks came with their own marinara sauce but we could not select sauces for the chicken tenders - I believe our order came with ketchup packets and some sort of mustard sauce. We ordered through UberEats but they fulfilled their own order so we couldn't track the progress through the UberEats app. However, they were able to find our hotel and delivered within the time estimated so we were happy with that. read more

Pizza Boli's in DC is home of the jumbo slice. I've been dozens of times, over and over again for years and especially when I'm in the U Street and Adams Morgan corridor for bar fun. If there's a notable pizza spot in DC that has a slice of pizza that qualifies as a bona fide jumbo slice, I've tried it. This includes all of the jumbo slice pizza shops in the Adams Morgan corridor. Please understand these Boli's pizza shops in the U Street and Adams Morgan corridors are known primarily for their jumbo pizza slice. And honestly, I strictly stick to that menu item. Their jumbo slice is pretty good however there have been times over the years when I asked the cooks to double-bake my slices because sometimes the crust comes out seemingly par baked oh so slightly. Over the years it seems they've gotten then hint from customers that the pizza should be baked much longer to replicate standard pizza crust texture and crispness that people normally are accustomed to. For $5-$6 you can't beat the jumbo slice. I've had their whole pizza pie on a couple occasions and my experience is that the pie is much better on days other than Friday and Saturday when they seem to crank out, and understandably so, their jumbo slices during peak bar hours which by far is their popular menu item on those days. Please understand, some divey pizza spots are known for a few decent-to-good menu items and that's OK considering where these pizza shops are geographically located to primarily serve bar let-outs. My recommendation is to stick to jumbo slices and if you must, whole pies during off-peak hours. My second suggestion is to skip delivery and third-party apps for delivery as that will just make the experience worse if the pizza is a "miss" on that day and the delivery service is sub par. My experience is the pizzas generally come out better when ordered in person as the cooks know most people will inspect the pizza prior to leaving the premises (that's a pro tip - you're welcome). Give them a shot for their jumbo slice and whole pies during the hours aforementioned. read more

While visiting D.C. we ordered some pizza on the one evening we decided to eat in. We placed our order and was told that it would be an hour prior to delivery. The order arrived in about an hour and 15 mins and when it did, the driver who's English wasn't the best delivered it after asking my name and left. Upon reviewing the order it was completely wrong, he had given me someone else's order. I called back immediately and was asked if I wanted to replace the order or get a refund. By this time it was close to 10:30pm and way to late to eat so I requested a refund. I was told that the refund of $35.42 would show up within two days. Upon returning home and not seeing it after 7 days I called and explained the situation. The manger that I spoke to stated that he remembered the incident and would review the request and make the refund (he even reviewed the credit card number). Two weeks later I have still not received a refund and at this point I've put way more than $35 of sweat equity into this matter. I rarely write bad reviews, however I would not recommend this establishment to anyone in their delivery area. read more

Pizza Boli's is a pizza shop that's perfectly located along the strip of a mass of different bars. I would say that their signature is their jumbo slice pizza which was simply massive! I didn't know what I was ordering until it came out about 5 minutes later, and then I realized why the bill came out to $9. I ordered the Jumbo Hawaiian Pizza, and it was prepared fresh, and was made fast. It tasted nice, but I only wish that there were more toppings. It felt like a regular cheese pizza. There's space to sit and eat, though not too much, so it probably wouldn't be the best idea to bring a large group in here, though they have lots of take out boxes ready! Overall, it's a nice place and I can see people ordering here even if they weren't drunk. read more

My favorite place to get pizza. I like my pizza well done, with great mozzarella cheese, and garlic sauce to dip my breadsticks in. Pizza Boli's always delivers my pizza quickly and their deliver drivers always have a smile on their face. Half of the time when I ordered pizza from large pizza places they always screw up my order but I eat it anyways because I am starving. This is a trash restaurant, don't go here. There's about 8 employees behind the counter, but none of them can remember what you ordered when you come back 5 minutes later to pick it up. After trying to give me the wrong order twice, they then tried to charge me again for my food. Had to show them my bank statement. The cashier was on his phone the entire time while I ordered, so it's not surprising that they couldn't even complete my order. The pizza is undercooked. read more

To be fair, this place probably deserves about 3.5 stars. But I gave Paradiso 4 stars, and it's just not in the same league. For what it is (cheap, fast, and pretty good), Boli's is a great option for football games or for late night pizza. I got two XL one topping pizzas for $20 and everyone enjoyed it, and it was just enough food. The crust is a little soggy--my only real complaint. I wouldn't take out-of-towners here, and I wouldn't order for special occasions--but the $$ value is solid and I will definitely be back sometime in the near future. read more

Granted, it was New Years Eve, and they repeatedly told me they had "over 100 orders to deliver." Had they not been able to deliver my order due to time restrictions, I would have understood and ordered elsewhere. However, call after call and after being on hold for over 30 minutes, they assured me that it would be "another 10 minutes." eventually, over 2 and 1/2 hours later, my order came. The delivery man was extremely apologetic and I appreciate his efforts in working after hours, BUT the food he delivered was not my order. The food did not resemble anything of what I had originally asked for, in fact all of it contained chicken and being a vegetarian for 9 years, I could not eat any of it. It could have been an off night, but as someone who has worked at pizza places before, I would never treat my customers this abysmally. My advice is to order elsewhere. read more

We ordered some late-night takeout from Pizza Boli's because we had a menu in our Foggy Bottom hotel room. Tip: If you have a takeout menu, look for coupons on it. We were able to get specialty Hawaiian pizza (normally $20.99) for the $15.99 three-topping special price by just adding ham, bacon, and pineapple as our choices. Delivery time was average, about 35-40 minutes. This pizza was PACKED with meat and there were a lot of leftovers between two people. I especially enjoyed the garlic dipping butter, which I spread over my slices to give great extra flavor. Overall I was impressed with Pizza Boli's and would order takeout from them again. read more
