    Pepperoni calzone
    Brittany Anne O.

Stopped in for a quick lunch on the weekend. The menu had a lot of options but we decided to play it safe with a calzone and a side of fries. The calzone was stuffed with cheese and pepperoni- but almost seemed like it need a few more mins in the oven, some of the cheese wasn't completely melted. Sadly, the fries came out soft and very blonde. We asked them to stick them into the fryer again to crisp them up, but when they came back - they were only a little brown on the edges and still lacked any kind of crunch or flavor. Service was quick and efficient!

The service was great and they were very friendly. The food we got was delicious. I went a few days ago and I asked for a little extra tomato sauce... they gave me a big bowl of it. They always make every customer the #1 priority. The only downsides were the price and the food was a little dry. Otherwise good.

ASTOUNDING. This establishment is amazing! The Italian is authentic, our waitress was superb, the food was delicious, and our experience was phenomenal! My friend and I absolutely love this place. We visited twice in less than a week to get a taste of a few dishes. Regrettably I only took one picture of their tiramisu. But all of the food was FANTASTIC. The cannoli was the BEST I ever had. I can't believe how kind the waitress was! She served us the last cannoli available! I recommend this place to everyone who goes DC, to visit this hidden gem. Can't wait to visit again!! Very clean, organized, authentic and humble ambiance.

Pepperoni pizza that was supposed to be spinach and caramelized onions.

Went in right before closing to order a spinach and caramelized onion pizza, but got a pepperoni pizza instead. Did not realize it until I returned home, but IPK was nice enough to refund my money.

For a real slice of traditional Italian food this is the place to go. They make their own dough and sauce everyday and the ingredients are fresh. The pizza are great with crispy yet firm dough that is covered in real mozzarella. All their dishes are wonderful and cooked to perfection. We had the pizza, calzone, Stromboli, Greek salad and several other dishes. Everyone and everything was great and we look forward to our next visit. We got carryout but they have outside seating and convenient street parking.

You will find a few parking spots on the street in front of the restart and within a reasonable walking distance. They serve wings and tenders with a large selection of sauces to choose from. I placed my order online, so it was ready by the time I got there. I just double parked, like most people do in the city, ran in and got my food. The staff there was very nice. The inside customer area is very small, but I was in and out. I ordered 10 wings, which I thought I ordered in 2 flavors. however it only came in one, mambo. That is ok. The wings were very delicious. I mean like finger licking delicious, packed with flavor. I also got a side of mac and cheese, which was also really good. It was cheesy like I like it, fresh and tasty. All in all, I really enjoyed my meal here. I am always skeptical when a see a restaurant claiming to have the best of something. This restaurant claims to have the best. After eating my meal, I would say there is some truth to that. I highly recommend checking this place out.

This is definitely a hole in the wall-type restaurant. The exterior isn't great, and honestly the inside isn't much either. There's no place to sit, you come to order your food and go- but the service and quality of the food more than make up for it. We ordered an XL order of soy garlic wings (20 pieces) and a M order of honey spicy (10 pieces) and it was more than enough for 6 people. The crunch and flavor were TOP. I heard great things about the honey lemon pepper wings only after we placed our order, but unfortunately we didn't get to order any. I also have to shout out the employee that took our order. These tenders are very tender and would be exceptional if they'd change their flouring and frying technique. Overall a good chicken tenders that I'd purchase again when ordering chicken wings. I don't think I'd travel here exclusively for tenders. As far as sauces are concerned, I tried the Smokey Buffalo, Alabama White BBQ and Honey Mustard. This was my first time here on a Saturday night renting a Karaoke room with 6 of my friends. Pros: Staff was nice, greeted us immediately and ushered us to our Karaoke room. They explained how to operate the system and select songs. They also responded quicky to any issues. The restaurant itself was easy to find and clean. The Karaoke rooms were spacious and luxurious with great lighting and sound quality. You were able to customize the microphone, echo and music volumes. There was a "KPop" button which was exciting (You have to go to find out haha). Each song on the main system came with a background video and easy to follow lyrics. Cons: The system was a struggle to learn and if you couldn't find a song, switching over to an ipad for youtube and back was not easy. The main system default was in a different language and limited, even for popular American songs. So I had to call for help a number of times which interrupted our experience. The WiFi wasn't working in our room which made the QR code they provided useless, I had to walk all the way to the front just to order drinks. Drinks were expensive, $10 for Kiren Light + 20% automatic service charge + 10% tax which comes out to be $13 per beer. Usually I pay $5-7 for a basic beer. Also, usually the Karaoke rooms I've been to in the past provide tambourines or something to play with when singing. Once I asked, they gave us 2, but they were really beat up. They were supposed to light up, they didn't. They were cheap plastic and cracked easily. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Echo Box. The staff was really nice and the Karoke rooms were fancy and well maintained. I would be aware for next time that the system might be a challenge, you may have to spend more on or work a bit harder to order drinks and maybe bring your own tambourine (if you have one haha).
