We were visiting the area and missed eating Hawaiian food. I was so excited to see this place nearby. We were in luck because they were having an event! It was amazing turnout and loved seeing so many Pacific Islanders in one place. The food was spot on and tasted just like home! It was so 'Ono! We cannot wait to come back again the future! Came here for the first time for a Hawaii gathering this past weekend. Being born and raised from Hawaii, it was super nice to see fellow locals thriving in this area. I've tried many Hawaiian dishes and a lot were mediocre and/or below average, especially the poke (raw fish), but this place, was on point for sure. We ordered the kalbi plate, mixed plate (garlic chicken and bbq chicken plate), both the Hawaiian poke and spicy ahi poke, spam musubi, and a piece of Chantilly cake. The garlic chicken are in chicken wing form which isn't the normal cuts, but the flavor was the same exact way I remember it from home. The kalbi and mac salad was on point. The bbq chicken was ok. The spam musubi was the best that I had here in TX. The spicy ahi poke was more flavorful of the 2 pokes. Chantilly cake was amazing. They also sell a lot of other desserts, snacks, and Hawaii canned juices. Highly recommended. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Lots of tables to dine on. Clean restrooms next to a cool Spam canned wall and lots of parking outside. I'm pretty far from the DFW area, but will definitely be back if I'm ever in this area again.

Son and I stopped in for lunch on a weekday. We each got the two meat combo, so much food we had to take some home, and it was delicious. Super clean restaurant and super nice people. Will definitely be visiting again!

Came here today on 1/14 around 2:30PM, the place is tucked away on Harwood Rd. As soon as you walk in, everything is Hawaii and pineapple themed, along with the jams playing. Since we found this place on Yelp, everything looked so good we didn't know what to order. The very nice lady at the front counter offered suggestions as well as answered all of our questions. She was from Hawaii so I trusted her judgment, and asked her if this was her favorite Hawaiian food place. She said yes because it was the most authentic. I asked her what her favorite was and she said the mixed plate with crispy garlic chicken and teri beef, so we ordered a plate of that. We also ordered the Lava fries and they had a Teriyaki Tuesday special going on, and I do love my specials so I had to give that a try! The first thing we dipped our forks into was their Mac salad, and my bf really liked it. He said it tasted authentic, and I agreed. It wasn't your typical refrigerated Mac salad but authentic like it's made every morning, especially the texture of it. The Lava Fries were also bomb, the teriyaki beef on the fries were very flavorful and tender, and the crinkle fries was the cherry on top because it retained its crispness. The teriyaki chicken was good as well, I enjoyed the charred flavors seared into the chicken. The crispy garlic chicken wings were really good, I could smell the garlic as she was bringing my food to the table. I loved that they served a pineapple slice with everything. And they had a good selection of beverages and desserts. I didn't get to try their desserts this time but for sure looking forward to it next time. My bf had their pineapple soda, which I tried and thought it was tasty and not syrupy which is how I prefer my sodas. They have a bus out in front of their place so they might offer catering but I forgot to inquire. Overall, we can't wait to come back and try other menu items! We enjoyed our food and the service was great, loved that she took the time to come to our table to check on us and talk to us about Hawaii a bit. We appreciated that. They also had a spam wall that was really cool!

Good Hawaiian food with a nice ambiance tucked away in a strip mall. The mixed plates are the way to go for first timers as you get a variety of options. We both really enjoyed the teriyaki chicken, shredded pork was good too. They don't tell you on the menu the crispy garlic chicken is just fried chicken wings - they were okay as heavy on breading and only 3 per serving. Rice and mixed veggies were good, neither of us were fans of macaroni salad. Price point with a drink is about $20/person.

This is a Hawaiian spot in a strip mall in Hurst. Not far from the highway. Although I wouldn't consider this "authentic" Hawaiian food, it's pretty damn good if you ask me. I thoroughly enjoyed the garlic wings. They're lightly breaded and crispy and soaks the sauce right up. Even ordered again, to go and it was still fresh and crispy when I got home 20 mins away. The garlic shrimp is also tasty but the portion is 6 or 8 shrimp so not very filling. Their macaroni salad and butter mochi were also pretty tasty! Check this place out for a quick bite to eat. Great food, friendly staff, and clean environment.

Fantastic food. We had some garlic wings, a combo plate of teriyaki beef and chicken katsu and a garlic shrimp plate. Mac salad was fantastic. Teriyaki beef was tender with a nice grilled flavor. Skip the chicken katsu, not bad but nothing special compared to the rest. Shrimp was great and they were huge. Wings were great. Only 2 constructive criticisms: sauce the wings up a little more and poke some holes in the box so they dont steam and get less crispy and include some of that delightful garlic sauce on the side of the shrimp. The shrimp are shell on but deveined nicely and easy to peel. They were so good but a little more of the sauce wouldve been nice read more

Had them cater a work luncheon was blown away with how delicious everything was! Garlic chicken wings, pulled pork, veggies, rice and Mac all for a great price and everyone left happy! Highly recommend for catering as well as dining in! read more

Pineapple Grill is an amazing place for families. The owners are husband and wife, & they extend their love through the food they serve. The food served here is AMAZING! Full of flavor, and packed full in your plate. The closest restaurant to a Hawaiian's home cooked meal!! I would know! Not only does the food taste amazing and authentic, the drinks are also the typical juices you'd drink in Hawaii. Also, admirably, they offer discounts to law officers, as well as emergency and medical professionals. In other words, they appreciate our community hero's! Food is served quickly after ordered, and the staff do their best to accommodate any of your needs. Drove from Frisco and was NOT disappointed! The food here is always fresh and made with aloha, just like back home! The workers are friendly and always made sure we were doing ok. The spicy poke is perfect! The garlic chicken has the perfect amount of sauce and crisp! The fried noodles remind me of the manapua man from my childhood. And OMG the cakes! We've had the pineapple and guava cakes and both were delicious! Just the right amount of sweetness! I've searched and tried many "Hawaiian/Island food" places all over the DFW area (L&L, Anas, Aloha Hawaiian BBQ, Halos, etc) and this is HANDS DOWN the best and closest to the food from home and it's also served with the aloha spirit! read more

This place bring back memories of being back home in Hawaii ! I had the special of the day "Shoyu Chicken" it reminds me of the lunch wagon I use to go to for lunch near the beach and the music yes island songs on the speakers ! Some places you just feel at home. That how the folks are here. We are blessed to live in an area with such a large variety of food options. This place came from a food truck, landing here off of Harwood and Norwood. Hawaiian inspired spam and rice wrapped in seaweed, steak over steamed rice with gravy and an. Egg. Egg rolls, fried noodles and more. Everything tasted different from your standard Asian/Thai food. Not overly spicy and flavored just different. This place is worth a visit just so you can experience something New! If your a hard core Thai #5 spicy person this may not meet your needs. But try anyway because they are so nice. read more

My husband and I lived in Hawaii for many years, but have been in Texas for a few years and we're missing the traditional plate lunches of Hawaii. I ordered the Chicken Katy's & Hawaiian Pork. He ordered the Curry Chicken Katsu and the BBQ Chicken. We both loved our Katsus and the macaroni salad. Our second dishes were just okay. We did love the atmosphere created in the restaurant and did get a glimpse of Hawaii whole we were there. Will be back! read more

Tried this when I was craving chicken wings and the Yelp reviews were so positive. The wings did not disappoint! Crispy and a little sticky, perfectly cooked. This place stopped taking order over the phone because people did not pick up their orders. I feel their pain but, as a business, they just need to absorb that loss. This place is an awesome little spot. It's clean and not overdone inside. It being in a strip mall didnt really seem appealing, but the staff was great and the food is wonderful. The chicken sandwich was not dry in the least. The mahi mahi was cooked perfectly. All of the food was perfect, no complaints. When we visit Dallas, we will eat here again. read more

First couple of visits did suck horribly it was around the first of its opening and I wasn't going to come back but, my husband continued to go for the wings. Today we tried the fried noodles and loco moco, just deliciousbest loco moco I've had yet and noodles were very delightful. Guess I'll be going back soon. I'm rating it 2 stars I've never had a two in a row consistency in flavor and quality. But on a good day they are good. read more

We just ordered for the first time through Uber Eats and were extremely pleased with everything! Generous portions, well presented, delicious food! We ordered a variety of dishes and loved each one - Mac salad was amazing! Chicken Katsu was tender, Loco Moco was a huge portion! I had to call because I forgot something on the order and the lady who answered was extremely nice and friendly! We can't wait to visit in person! read more

Wanted to try some Hawaiian food before we went to Oahu this fall, and OH MY GOODNESS this place is AMAZING! We did Uber eats pick up, and it was perfect. They came to our car to deliver our food. The food was not only so delicious, but the portions are huge!! It was exactly what we were hoping for. The staff was very friendly as well. The loco moco was my personal fav, but everything we got was great. The noodles are perfect, the fries are perfect, the spam is perfect. Everything. Will definitely be going back many more times!!! read more

We went here on a whim and were so pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was! I had the salad which has the Teri Chicken on it - WOW! The chicken was so tender and flavorful, and the house made vinaigrette had just the right combination of heat and sweet. Hubs had the Crispy Garlic Chicken wings - they were crispy as promised, delicious and the portion size was perfect. He really enjoyed the side of Mac salad as well. read more

Established in 2017.

Pineapple Grill Texas first started as a food truck located in Roanoke, TX. During that time we served at many private and public events. Eventually after a lot of hard work we have opened up our restaurant located in Hurst, Tx. We are grateful to our loyal customers for all the support they have given us!

I ordered the laulau plate. The tossed salad was fresh and crunchy w/ dressing on it. At first look, I thought the mac salad would be dry and bland, but it was good! The laulau had a lot of pork in it. I was hoping for more luau leaves and a piece of fish, but it was still delicious. My husband had the short ribs and liked the flavor of it. We also ordered a few Spam musubis for our breakfast as we drive back home and was surprised that they make it with two slices of Spam. In summary, if we lived in the DFW area, this would be our go-to spot for Hawaiian and local food.

There are a few seats inside, and i feel like its more like a take to go type of place. But in the front, you'll see the poke section. but in the back you can definitely hear the wok going off when cooking chinese food. I also got a passion fruit green tea drink and it was perfectly made. If you're craving authentic chinese food, come here. Its not cheap, but 10x better than Panda Express.

Such huge portions for a Great price. The owner was so sweet up front. My Mom and I ordered Teriyaki chicken which lasted us the next day as Ieftovers. I typically get grossed out by chicken but these were duch Nice cuts i enjoyed every bite. The sides that came with were super refreshing.
