3piece chicken with cabbage and yams
C A.

They say the hole in the wall be the best spots... let's say this is one of those spots the pics in my opinion did this place no justice... The food was amazing. Customer service was great as well.. I'll definitely be back when in the area. I had the 3 piece chicken with cabbage and candied yams.. seasoned very well

Located in an old Jack In The Box.

Kudos to Juicy's for focusing on made-to-order fried chicken, cooked from scratch. After a 12-15 minute wait, my lunch--breast and wing with crinkle-cut fries and a drink for $10.25--arrived piping hot. The chicken was indeed hot but leaned salty and garlicky, with oil that tasted a bit over-used and lingered on the palate. The breading lacked the crunch of top competitors, and the generous fries were noticeably greasy. Perhaps I just caught them on an off day.

Great food, disappointing that there's no AC in the restaurant tho, only portable fans blowing hot air. Got the 3 piece fried chicken meal with mac and cheese and collard greens and add on of the Catfish. Fried chicken was good, good flavor, very crispy. Mac and cheese was okay, tastes like krafts cheese or American single cheese. Collard greens was good but super salty, nice smoked smell tho. Corn bread was gooooood. The catfish was kinda small for $5 but it was super fresh. Overall 3.4/5 i would come agains to try different sides. Hopefully they get their AC fix.

Loved this little hole in the wall place. The counter staff was friendly and walked us through the menu, suggesting the cornbread over the roll and it was delicious! We got the three piece with two sides. The chicken was crispy, beautifully seasoned, and juicy. The fries were crispy and hot and the pinto beans were a little spicy and very hot. The fried okra was crispy and fries and the mac and cheese was hot and cheesy. I will highly recommend this place to everyone and we will be back!

Catfish and fries

I know their name has fried chicken in it, and their fried chicken is absolutely delicious but the best thing I've had here is the catfish. I went back again today for the fourth or fifth time and had the snack pack, which includes one piece of catfish or fried chicken or a pork chop along with fries. It is a steal at only six dollars. I also got a side of their pinto beans. The snack pack plus the beans was less than $10 and I couldn't even eat it all. The catfish fillets are large and the catfish is real catfish, not that Chinese swai fish that a lot of restaurants pass off as catfish. You can tell because it is very mild, delicate, and flaky and not wet and mushy like swai. The cornmeal breading is perfect and they cook it when you order so it's always hot and fresh. This was the first time I had their pinto beans and they were delicious. Well-seasoned and cooked all the way through. I can't tell you how often I have pinto beans at a restaurant that are still slightly firm or even hard in the middle. They're supposed to be really really soft and the juice is supposed to be brown, not clear. If the liquid part of your pinto beans is still clear, you haven't cooked them enough.. The fries are crinkle cut which are my favorite and they're fine. I need to try some of the other side items on my next visit. The employees are really friendly and helpful and seem to enjoy working there. If you haven't tried this restaurant, you definitely should ASAP Catfish = 5 stars Pinto beans = 5 stars Fries = 3 stars

3 wings and seasoned fries with buffalo and sweet chili sauces and a pickle/pepper cup.

Tried Juicy's for the first time today. Excellent!! Hubby had the catfish basket and I had the wing basket. Both came with fries that are seasoned with something better than season salt. The catfish filets and the whole chicken wings were cooked to perfection. I tried both of their sauces, buffalo and sweet chili. Both were very good. The little cup of pickles and peppers was a nice change from salad or coleslaw. And their sweet tea was just right. Not too sweet. Lameshia took our order and brought to our table in the time of 15 minutes she said it would take to prepare. I like that everything is cooked to order and not sitting under a heat lamp. The dine-in area was clean and not jammed up with too many tables. The music was playing at a volume that you could still carry on a conversation and not have to raise your voice. We will definitely go back.

Just to the right of the sign were two Level 2 chargers. We each ordered two 2 meat plates, which included two sides. When we got home and opened the to-go boxes, we realized we had WAY over-ordered. We had enough for two meals for each of us! We had chicken and pork ribs, mac & cheese and flat green beans. It was very tasty with a sweet and spicy barbecue sauce. I spoke with the owner and thanked him for supporting EVs, to which he replied, "How could I not? It's what's coming. How could I not get on board?" He mentioned that quite a few of his customers found him on Plugshare.com and stop by regularly for a meal and charge. I had to Google "So mote it be."

I genuinely want this place to succeed, which is why I still give it chances every so often. Today (Feb 24, 2026) I stopped in with my daughter just to pick up sides. Many menu items were unavailable (we were told no greens), so we ordered cabbage, sweet potatoes, and cornbread. The total was about $15 and I paid $20 and told him to keep the change as a tip. Unfortunately, the food quality was disappointing. The cabbage was essentially plain steamed cabbage -- very underseasoned and more like cafeteria vegetables than braised southern cabbage. I actually had to go home and re-season and cook it further just to make it edible. The sweet potatoes tasted good, but they had a noticeable smoky/BBQ odor, like they had absorbed grease or smoke from the kitchen environment. The cornbread itself was very good, but the portion was extremely small -- basically a sample-sized piece. Considering I tipped $5 on a small order, it would have been nice to include an additional piece or two. The biggest ongoing issue, though, is consistency. Over the years the restaurant is frequently out of items and the quality varies visit to visit. The dining/kitchen area is also visibly worn and could really benefit from a deep clean and upkeep. I truly say this respectfully because I remember how good this place used to be. The potential is still there, but right now the food and overall experience don't match the prices being charged.

Craving fried chicken and decided to head to Juicys Soul Food and learned they had closed....uggggh. Not to be deterred discovers Linda's Soul Food to go and called to inquire if they had fried chicken. They did. Yahoooo. Off we went. Upon arrival and as we entered this little gem I just admit I was worried. It was dead and appeared only one person was working. We learned they only had 4 meat offerings, fried chicken, fried pork chops, meatloaf and fried catfish. We were a bit disappointed when we learned they only had wings and legs for the fried chicken but moved on and placed an order. I had the fried chicken legs, collard greens, fried cabbage and Mac n cheese. She opted for the fried pork chops and Mac n cheese. The serving size are huge. 3 legs, 3 pork chops. Sides are plentiful. Are you ready? Absolutely delicious. The fried pork chops were the best we have ever had out. The Fried chicken was equally as good. HOT. JUICY. Soooo good. The Mac n cheese was better than Juicys. Cheesy and gooey goodness. I loved it. The collards were also better than Juicys....id argued one of the best I've ever had out. The dry erase board had the following listed; meatloaf, fried chicken, fried fish, fried pork chops. She did say they offer other things on the weekend. That statement confused me because it was Saturday around noon and the couple had to wait for someone to come unlock the door which implied that they were just opening. The couple inquired about options other than fried and was told that meatloaf was it. One asked if there was pork in the sides. Her response was "no pork at all" and the lady said, " Except the fried pork chops, right?" Well, as you see from the photo, there's pork in the greens. I ordered fried pork chops with mac & cheese, yams, and collard greens which came with cornbread. The only other side listed was cabbage. Lemon pound cake was the dessert offered. I was told my order should be ready in about 20 minutes. I left and went to Starbucks up the street and came back about 30 minutes later and he was putting my order into the bag. I want to preempt by saying give this place a try and see what you think. You may have a different experience. There is construction being done on the street in front of the establishment, FYI. I personally did not enjoy the taste of the food. The yams were okay, but again, the taste just wasn't there for me. The cashier did say that they've only been open a year so maybe it's a work in progress.

We had the pleasure of meeting Nana herself. Me and my mom enjoyed speaking with her. She was pleasant and friendly. I loved how she was very down to earth. My mom took a photo with her. My server was the sweetest and most polite person. She checked on me and my mom multiple times. She was friendly and helpful. So I must say my service was welcoming and AMAZING! I felt like part of the family! Now it's not a fancy place, but it was clean and cozy. Like a mom and pops place. Condiments are provided on the table. Even roses that were real are in a vase. You can dine in or they have a carry out side. Well I chose fish since that's what I wanted. The 2 piece filet meal comes with 2 sides. They will bring your food out in a plastic container. So if you have left overs it's already set to go. The food came out hot and fresh. The fish was fried nicely. I wish it was seasoned a bit more for my liking. It was pretty good though. It was a great size and again fried to perfection. The hush puppies were really tasty. The fried corn fritter was delicious. The pickled tartar sauce was unique and I loved it. OMG the cabbage was so DAMN GOOD! This stole the show. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned with love. It touched my soul and I wanted to lick my container. The Mac and Cheese was a NO for me. It was like black pepper and cheese sauce. It was just blah and II didn't even eat it. However, others may like it, but it wasn't that great. Sorry Nana! Overall I had a good visit!
