We were visiting the area and missed eating Hawaiian food. I was so excited to see this place nearby. We were in luck because they were having an event! It was amazing turnout and loved seeing so many Pacific Islanders in one place. The food was spot on and tasted just like home! It was so 'Ono! We cannot wait to come back again the future! Came here for the first time for a Hawaii gathering this past weekend. Being born and raised from Hawaii, it was super nice to see fellow locals thriving in this area. I've tried many Hawaiian dishes and a lot were mediocre and/or below average, especially the poke (raw fish), but this place, was on point for sure. We ordered the kalbi plate, mixed plate (garlic chicken and bbq chicken plate), both the Hawaiian poke and spicy ahi poke, spam musubi, and a piece of Chantilly cake. The garlic chicken are in chicken wing form which isn't the normal cuts, but the flavor was the same exact way I remember it from home. The kalbi and mac salad was on point. The bbq chicken was ok. The spam musubi was the best that I had here in TX. The spicy ahi poke was more flavorful of the 2 pokes. Chantilly cake was amazing. They also sell a lot of other desserts, snacks, and Hawaii canned juices. Highly recommended. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Lots of tables to dine on. Clean restrooms next to a cool Spam canned wall and lots of parking outside. I'm pretty far from the DFW area, but will definitely be back if I'm ever in this area again.

Son and I stopped in for lunch on a weekday. We each got the two meat combo, so much food we had to take some home, and it was delicious. Super clean restaurant and super nice people. Will definitely be visiting again!

Came here today on 1/14 around 2:30PM, the place is tucked away on Harwood Rd. As soon as you walk in, everything is Hawaii and pineapple themed, along with the jams playing. Since we found this place on Yelp, everything looked so good we didn't know what to order. The very nice lady at the front counter offered suggestions as well as answered all of our questions. She was from Hawaii so I trusted her judgment, and asked her if this was her favorite Hawaiian food place. She said yes because it was the most authentic. I asked her what her favorite was and she said the mixed plate with crispy garlic chicken and teri beef, so we ordered a plate of that. We also ordered the Lava fries and they had a Teriyaki Tuesday special going on, and I do love my specials so I had to give that a try! The first thing we dipped our forks into was their Mac salad, and my bf really liked it. He said it tasted authentic, and I agreed. It wasn't your typical refrigerated Mac salad but authentic like it's made every morning, especially the texture of it. The Lava Fries were also bomb, the teriyaki beef on the fries were very flavorful and tender, and the crinkle fries was the cherry on top because it retained its crispness. The teriyaki chicken was good as well, I enjoyed the charred flavors seared into the chicken. The crispy garlic chicken wings were really good, I could smell the garlic as she was bringing my food to the table. I loved that they served a pineapple slice with everything. And they had a good selection of beverages and desserts. I didn't get to try their desserts this time but for sure looking forward to it next time. My bf had their pineapple soda, which I tried and thought it was tasty and not syrupy which is how I prefer my sodas. They have a bus out in front of their place so they might offer catering but I forgot to inquire. Overall, we can't wait to come back and try other menu items! We enjoyed our food and the service was great, loved that she took the time to come to our table to check on us and talk to us about Hawaii a bit. We appreciated that. They also had a spam wall that was really cool!

Good Hawaiian food with a nice ambiance tucked away in a strip mall. The mixed plates are the way to go for first timers as you get a variety of options. We both really enjoyed the teriyaki chicken, shredded pork was good too. They don't tell you on the menu the crispy garlic chicken is just fried chicken wings - they were okay as heavy on breading and only 3 per serving. Rice and mixed veggies were good, neither of us were fans of macaroni salad. Price point with a drink is about $20/person.

This is a Hawaiian spot in a strip mall in Hurst. Not far from the highway. Although I wouldn't consider this "authentic" Hawaiian food, it's pretty damn good if you ask me. I thoroughly enjoyed the garlic wings. They're lightly breaded and crispy and soaks the sauce right up. Even ordered again, to go and it was still fresh and crispy when I got home 20 mins away. The garlic shrimp is also tasty but the portion is 6 or 8 shrimp so not very filling. Their macaroni salad and butter mochi were also pretty tasty! Check this place out for a quick bite to eat. Great food, friendly staff, and clean environment.

I'm rating Pineapple Grill based on their catering for my church (Uncommon Church in EULESS)! So we were given the choice of chicken or pork bowl, or just chicken. My bowl of choice was the PORK. It was cooked just right, served warm, the flavor was kind of sweet but not overly so. My kiddo even enjoyed it and she doesn't normally eat shredded meat. The rice was plain but there were green onion topped that gave it a hint of salt, perfect for me (I don't need to be sweeping up from too much salt intake haha)! Thank you Pineapple Grill Texas for providing our lunch today, super job! Hopefully I can stop by your location in person and try the Hawaiian bowl :)

The spicy ahi poke is AMAZING! My favorites items/dishes from pineapple grill is the poke, spam musubi, and garlic chicken wings. I don't know what is it about their poke, but it's just so good. The tuna is fresh and has a kick to it but not too spicy. The spam musubi is one of the best I've had in the DFW area and it's only $2! Can't complain about that. A friend recommended the garlic chicken wings to me. Before trying it, I just overlooked it on the menu but after I took a bite I was hooked. It's a mix of fried chicken with sweet garlicy terkiyaki flavor. I've also tried the shrimp plate, grilled teriyaki beef, and loco moco. All of these were just okay. The shrimp on the shrimp plate still had the skin attached to them so when you peeled the skin off, you would loose the flavor or sauce that was originally on it. The portions are pretty big. I always have leftovers when I order the plates. Ill be back for that poke and spam musubi! read more

I've never stepped foot in this restaurant, but I've UberEatsed probably half of the menu and the food here is just soooo good. I am obsessed with that crispy chicken. Fact: I was going to drive 22 miles today just for that chicken, but I forgot they're closed on Sundays. I cry. But really, it's just a testament to how delicious their food really is. The staff is so welcoming and happy. For my first time, they gave some pretty awesome. I got the crispy garlic chicken plate with rice and steamed veggies paired a passion orange Hawaiian sun beverage. Everything was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend checking this place out! read more

Their spam masubi is good and big, and their mac salad is sooo good. Their shredded pork is super flavorful and juicy. Their garlic chicken wings are amazing, id go there just for the wings! Their garlic shrimp is good but they leave the shells on which makes it difficult to eat and the flavor gets somewhat lost once you remove the shell. Their steamed rice is always on point, moderately priced. Will go back! read more

Stopped by this little place and we were so pleasantly surprised! We came in on a Friday night with a group and six and it wasn't that busy at all. You go in, grab a menu at the register, order, then find a place to sit and eat. There was plenty of room inside the restaurant and everything we got was delicious! My favorite dish would definitely be the crispy garlic chicken. The crispiness and flavor were perfect and I would recommend you to try it first if you can't decide on what you want! My husband and I split a combo plate with teri beef and chicken katsu. The teri beef was my favorite and chicken katsu was just fried chicken breast so I probably won't get that again. Usually it's served with a sauce which we didn't get so I'm not sure if they serve it with the sauce or not. The side of macaroni salad was perfect! One thing I could do without would be the pickled cucumber slices, but that's because it has a strong taste of rice vinegar(?) which I'm not a fan of. Do give this place a try if you are in the area! read more

Decided to try out a new place today with my coworkers. I got the pork belly sandwich and the garlic wing fries. Coworker got Mahi mahi sandwich, fish is under-seasoned. long wait time, under-seasoned, And my pork belly sandwich was just very fatty. It made it hard to eat honestly. Hidden gem for sure. Found this place after a yelp search. The lady at the front was super nice and the food came out really fast. I ordered the mixed plate with teriyaki beef and chicken, rice and Mac salad for sides and a spam musubi because why not lol. The teriyaki beef was SOOOO GOOD! The chicken was on the dry side like it was over cooked but I know it would've been good had it not been. The rice to spam ratio in the musubi was kinda off. Just way too much rice. The Mac salad was honestly the worst I've ever tasted :(. I'd just get a double scoop of rice because the vegetables aren't steamed either, just crunchy lol. Just gonna skip that next time. I'd definitely eat here again and would recommend to anybody wanting some good Hawaiian food read more

Good fresh food. It's not the islands but pretty close! Would like to see a different katsu sauce...this one tastes like cocktail sauce so it's not quite right. Also, please make your teriyaki sauce readily available..it's delicious. Perfectly steamed rice. Macaroni salad is good. Teriyaki is outstanding and chicken katsu is perfect. This was recommended by a coworker that is married to a Native Islander. He definitely didn't steer us wrong! This is the go to for Hawaiian in the area. The portions are bigger than any other Hawaiian place around. The mac salad is the best around. The Kalua pork is BOMB. The bbq beef and chicken are both super tasty, and make great leftovers too! read more

Went here earlier today with a couple buddies after a long day of community service for my birthday, and was blown away. Here are some reason's I was blown away: The flavor I felt like I was on the Diner's Drive-ins, and Dives. Seriously. That episode with the Garlic Furikake Chicken reminds me of their garlic chicken. Their Kalua pork and bbq chicken are also amazing as well The price 10-15 bucks, for a huge portion that fills you up The presentation great contrast of color and looks amazing. The cleanliness Came in on a slow and rainy Saturday morning at 11am, and the restaurant was very clean. 10/10 will be back here again, and I'm going to try the Loco Moco Ps. Try the mango vinaigrette. You're eating Hawaiian food for crying out loud. read more

This place was SO delicious. I ordered the Kalbi short ribs and my boyfriend ordered the hamburger steak and we were both so excited at how good their food was. The ribs were absolutely amazing, I could have kept eating them long after I was no longer hungry! The owners are also super delightful and friendly! Nothing better than really yummy food with the added benefit of getting to support a small business! We'll definitely be going back.. soon!! read more

I was checking out apartments in Bedford before lunch and the leasing agent recommended I try this place and boy was I not disappointed! I have been there twice now and they will definitely be seeing more of me. It's the best bang for your buck especially since their menu is well priced. I love the seasoning in their spam musubi and the crispy garlic chicken is sooo good! Even if you're not in the area, it's worth going out of your way! read more

This new restaurant in Hurst is amazing!! Pineapple Grill started as a food truck and was so well known for their amazing food, they opened up a storefront. The atmosphere is so nice and clean, everything in the restaurant is brand new. Besides the delicious food, the owners are the best part. They make sure every customer is satisfied and are all around great people! 5 stars for the best new restaurant in the MidCities. read more

This place is absolutely phenomenal!!! My wife found it while looking for some Hawaiian spots closer to our area as we would usually go to Arlington. We gave it a try and was blown away! Father and son were running the counter, they were super welcoming and answered any questions we had with a smile. We ordered and took our seats. Decor is nothing fancy but it has a very homie feel to it especially with the soothing Hawaiian music playing. The son brought our food to us and went over everything. I was hooked on the first bite the bbq chicken and beef are incredible. We also go the pork bbq cheese fries and omg I couldn't stop even after I felt full! 10 stars out of 5 will definitely be back! read more

Established in 2017.

Pineapple Grill Texas first started as a food truck located in Roanoke, TX. During that time we served at many private and public events. Eventually after a lot of hard work we have opened up our restaurant located in Hurst, Tx. We are grateful to our loyal customers for all the support they have given us!
