I have been coming here for a couple of years. Needless to say, the consistency in both pho and service keeps me coming. I stick to the Pho VH special with 2 orders of rare steak and 2 well done brisket. The array of toppings they bring out is great too, I always request extra lime and onion for my pho! The restaurant is small, and sometimes you might have to wait during their dinner rush, but I have never waited more than 15 minutes. Only reason I docked a star is due to the fact they revoked their stamp card, which was a reason I came so much and would bring people too - for every 10 pho bowls purchased, you get one free one. They give you lots of meat and they have plenty of options to choose from. You can choose from thin or thick noodles and they have like 10 different options for proteins. I went with the steak, well done brisket, and fatty brisket with my bowl. I paid $13 and I got my money's worth with all the brisket that was loaded into my bowl. The noodles were well-cooked and the vegetables they brought us were fresh. Service was quick and friendly. The broth was a little on the lighter side for my taste but adding siracha and hoisin sauce helped alleviate that issue. All the meat I had was delicious and it ended up being a good bowl of pho especially while it was raining. It's around $13-16 per dish, depending on what you're getting, but the serving sizes are good for those prices (especially nowadays with rising costs). Every time I've come here, I'll normally get the com tam suon nuong cha bi and it comes with two whopping pieces of grilled pork chop, some pickled veggies, rice, shredded pork skin, and egg meatloaf. Honestly I've never had any complaints about the food. It's flavorful, hefty, and I could honestly eat half and save the other half for tomorrow's lunch if I was content with being like 70% full. My mom and I did notice during the most recent visit that the meat pieces were smaller for both of us, but it's still a good amount of food. The pho is also very flavorful and has a lot of meat and tendon, and they promote the fact that they 'don't use MSG' in their pho. I chose the herbal tea which is very refreshing! The reason I didn't give them a 5 is the customer service. There's minimal interaction which some customers can view as a positive aspect. In addition, there is a sign displaying gender neutral restrooms but the doors are labeled by gender. Inside the women's restroom the toilet paper sat above the empty toilet roll holder and a roll of paper towels sits above the automatic towel dispenser. I came in around lunch time so I interpret that as staff don't frequently freshen the restrooms or that attention to detail is not important to check prior to opening the restaurant for the day. Overall food is amazing and super cost effective. There was no wait when I arrived but there was a wait when I left. Staff are great about cleaning the empty tables timely and accommodating guests asap. I will definitely be back to try other dishes. Is handstand open number one best pho soup I have ever had anywhere and they bring you a little extras.
