This place is known for its BANH CUON, so do not be fooled by its name. We also tried their #7 pho tai gau, which was a little weak and tasted more bland- 2 stars. The noodles may have been thawed, so we had a hard time breaking them apart from the hot broth. Do not come here for pho. The star of the show was definitely the banh cuon, and I think I have found my FAVORITE BANH CUON place! We ordered the BANH UOT DAC BIET $16 and the BANH CUON DAC BIET $16. The difference between banh uot and banh cuon is that banh uot are the plain rice rolls, and banh "cuon," meaning "rolled" in Vietnamese, is rolled into a filling, in this case, pork and mushroom. The plates were large and came out warm and so fresh. They were soft and melted in your mouth... omg. The dac biet or special plates come with pork floss on top. It was a tasty addition, not to mention the meal was healthy and I did not taste msg like other places. Banh Cuon Luu Luyen is pretty good, but they have a lot of msg in their rolls. By the way, make sure to BRING CASH. Otherwise, they will automatically charge an additional 15% on your credit card. They do specifically list this on the bottom of their menu. I also noticed that Quan Hop serves their Bun Bo Hue with chili and what seemed to be ginger on the side, while Quan Hy served theirs with just the chili. One advantage Quan Hop definitely has is the parking situation.
