I have only ordered take-out of Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef soup) and the Pho, but both were very delicious and the condiments were fresh. Staff/service was very good with the elder host, but the cellphone-younger-generation hire is disappointing as to be expected. read more

If you like Pho, you should try this new place in aiea. They serve Vietnamese and Japanese food. My husband and I was craving to have pho and our jeweler Paul Armbruster located in the same shopping area recommended this place to us. Right when you walk in, the staff is very friendly, the place is clean and the food is delicious. We came here for lunch and my husband and I ordered the Pho with steak and brisket, summer rolls and vermicelli with BBQ chicken & vegetables. The food came out quick, Pho soup was served hot, not like some other places I've been to. The BBQ chicken vermicelli portion was a lot, I had some left to take home. I would like to state first off this was completely my fault and the staff was very gracious to me but the long lecture I got was a bit uncalled for. I would like to start off with I have a mother just getting off of surgery and a family friend over helping with house repairs and I was tasked with calling pho time (which my family adores to eat at) to place an order. I had made the first call merging it when they picked up with my mother so i did not hear the opening remarks of the person on the other line. I was later asked to pick up additional food for our guest as I was getting ready to leave. My car was blocked and I was about to walk over while making the call. My car was being blocked and as I was making the call three people approached me from my father's friend saying that he could move his car and another person coming into our parking garage that would have made it impossible for our guest to move out of the way since we had no space and lived next to a highway. So while on the phone with the restaurant I was also trying to redirect our guest to stay in his spot and to have the other person park in her regular spot and could not hear the person on the phone at the start as I was distracted because I did not expect the other person to suddenly show up. I placed the extra order and decided to just walk to the restaurant (doing so later turned out to have given me mild sunburn) only to arrive and find out the restaurant was closed and the inside had no lights on. Looking it up I realized my phone had pulled up the Aiea location instead of the one near me like it normally should. Being a new location for pho time I don't think their online listing was updated yet but it was my callousness and oversight that caused the issue. I apologized profusely and the person on the phone was obviously annoyed rightfully so but in my defense when he stated the location the first time I was merging the call and didn't hear it, second time I was dealing with my car being blocked talking to three seperate people while calling, and the restraunt receptionist stated he mentioned it three times but my current call that I made to specifically apologize was the third instance as I had realized my error before calling the third time. I wholly accepted that this was my fault and would be willing to still pay over the phone by card but they rejected the idea and continued to put me down for my mistake. I insisted but they said there was no need for that while still being annoyed and I was repeatedly told I was told the location three times which lasted roughly 5 or more minutes of being lectured. It was my fault but understand I was unable to hear the beginning the first two times between merging calls, my blocked car, and the third call was me calling to apologize. And I was dealing with a guest who was helping with house repairs and attending to a mother weak from surgery. I stopped into this place yesterday for lunch and had a Vietnamese pho chicken noodle soup and a Banh mi barbecue chicken sandwich omg... my soup was so tasty it was really really good and my sandwich was filled with all the good pickled turnips and cucumber slices and cilantro with the Asian barbecue chicken, super tasty and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back soon to try the vermicelli Banh noodles. I hope to have papaya salad I didn't even check the menu if they did. I forgot to do this yesterday...that is what happens when you walk in and you're hungry! This time I ordered the pho burrito (chicken). All Incan say is "winner winner chicken dinner" with side order summer roll (no shrimp). Wait time for take out is 10 Minutes (normal) not a long wait. Phó Time: it's small and quaint, yet clean and straightforward. My waiter, whom I presume the owner, was professional and very welcoming. The menu was quintessential Vietnamese, and I was happy to see Bún bò Hue (a northern soup rarely seen in 'Americanized' Vietnamese restaurants). But I had to try the phó bò for a baseline. The condiments included a generous portion of fresh basil, lemon, and sprouts. What a stand-out and authentic broth! Light...aromatic - exactly as I remember it on the streets of Saigon. Husband order the combo pho and end up getting the same bowl that I got. he end up eating it since he was too hungry.
