One of my favorite places in Aiea ! Inside is nice and cozy, it is always a cool and comfortable temperature. I appreciate restaurants like these that serve hearty pho and made to order dishes. The staff is also so friendly. Go and support these family owned and operated businesses !

Been coming here for a few years, mostly for a quick lunch with co-workers. I love the lemon grass chicken banh mi with a side of broth to dip it into. The bread has a nice mouth feel to it against the softer and pickled elements in the sandwich. I also like their vermicelli dish #44. The meat is well seasoned and has a nice charred flavor. Service is quick and attentive for sit down. If you're in a rush, I would recommend calling ahead to place an order. Will be back to try more flavors from here.

We ordered ahead. And driver today dropped off the passenger and only made one circle. Came back around and passenger was back at curb to go home. No waiting at 4:50pm. And the food was greattttt! As always. Mahalo. See you next time.

Came across this place from an IG video because of the oxtail curry pho and the chicken wings! It did not disappoint!

Huge portions for reasonable pricing! My hubby & I love getting pho and this place did not disappoint! Portions are huge! We love all the fresh veggies. Service is quick and the owners are always so nice. When we get takeout, we always get the spring roll & bbq pork vermicelli bowls. Again, super fresh veggies, a generous portion of fish sauce (they also add chili flakes in it), and they always give 2 spring rolls & quite a bit of bbq pork. Other places only give 1 spring roll with combos. It's definitely enough for 2 meals for me! Overall, this is one of our go to places to get our pho fix!

My usual pho restaurant was sadly closed today. Based off the reviews, I decided to have lunch here with my sister. We came during lunch time 12-1ish. It was extremely busy & packed. Which usually means that the food must be very good. I was set on getting pho but because I saw a star next to bun bo hue & im such a fan, I decided to get bun Bo hue instead. The bun Bo hue broth was a mix of umami and spicy. But not too spicy. I loved how they were generous with the meat portion. I would say definitely in my top 3 of favorite bun bo hue's on the island. My sister got the combination pho and I got to taste their broth. I loved how their broth wasn't too light or too heavy. It was rich and super flavorful. Service was also really good. I'll definitely be coming back here to try more food items.

Their duck noodle is the best that I've ever had. The broth taste is very herbally and healthy, which is different than duck noodles at other places, which were mainly just soy sauce based. Their Vietnamese, coffee and bun rieu are also delicious. I came here weekly with my mom after her physical therapy session. Service is helpful and efficient. The place is always busy around lunchtime, even on weekdays. Place is usually packed but usually minimal wait to be seated; nice ambiance.

It was our first time and we called an hour ahead to reserve a table for 5 at 6:30pm on a Wednesday. The service was exceptional. Staff serving and checking on you with a smile. We had some apps: fried calamari, fried oysters, spring rolls and butter ckn wings, along with some pho, vermicelli and banh mi. The pork is so tasty! The fried oysters were also very good. We will definitely be back!

Was in the mood for some pho today so we decided to try this spot since it's on our way home. Pho Time is located in Aiea Town Square. They serve both Vietnamese & Japanese cuisine, however I think the menu was mostly Vietnamese. The dining space was a bit cramped, not ideal for large families or families with small children in strollers. Ordered pho with steak and brisket; the broth was beefy and flavorful and they gave plenty of meat. Just a heads up, they charge a 3% credit card surcharge.

Pho Time is pretty good for a quick lunch. Lots of meat in the combo pho and bun rieu had a strong shrimp paste scent but balanced flavors and lots of toppings. Taking a star off because we did have to sit by the door and each time it opened we were hit with a strong gust of wind.

I was craving pho and didn't want to drive all the way to Kapolei or Chinatown for good pho. My friends and I found this restaurant in Aiea, and at first, we were kind of skeptical as I've never really had a fantastic experience with the phos around the area. But we decided to check it out as a really good smoothie store was in the same area. It's located on the upper side closer to Moanalua Rd next to Tea Cafe in Aiea Town Square on Kauhale St. There's a big parking lot that used to be free for hours at a time. However, the entire parking lot is now managed by a parking company (can't remember the name). The first two hours are free but each hour after is about $2? We had to register our car on their app via QR code which could be difficult for the older folks to navigate through. So hopefully not registering for the two hours are okay for these folks. I got their small Eye Round Steak & Meatballs pho while my boyfriend got their large combination pho. It worked out because he gave me the tendons which I loooove. The small bowl was quite big! They gave a lot of proteins even for the two meats I got. The round eye steak was also very tender - a big plus. The flavor of the broth was soooo good. It wasn't the clear, clean ones which isn't a favorite of mine. I was quite impressed by it and couldn't stop eating it! My friend got their Bun Bo Hue, and I'm usually very suspicious on whether it'll be good or not if I've never had it previously.... But this was VERY good. There was a generous amount of protein, and the brisket was veryyy tender. Winner winner! The broth, mmmm, so good as well. Lots of umami! Overall, I would definitely come back as it's close to my relatives' home. The BBH was outstanding so that would probably be my next order!

Great place to come with the family. I highly recommend the Curry Oxtail Ramen which is probably one of the best that I have ever had! Very meaty and the portions were great. So many things to order here as we usually get appetizers to share. The service is quick and friendly as it seems like it is family operated. This a great neighborhood eatery that you can come in and enjoy yourself in a casual environment without having to pay an arm and a leg with very good portions. You will probably have leftovers for another meal. Lots of free parking and easy to find if you are ever in the Aiea area.

We got smoked out and it got bad to the point where my eyes were getting watery. Not sure if this happens all the time at this spot- this was my first time. The service was okay. We waited over 10 minutes to get cups of water and to put in our order. I totally get that they were short handed which also explains why it took almost 40 minutes for us to be served. Ordered the Negi-Hamachi to try something different. Hamachi is my favorite fish served sashimi style so I decided to switch it up and order the Negi-Hamachi which is finely chopped, yellow-tail with green onion and wasabi over sushi rice served with tsukemono and miso soup. I was super happy with this because the Hamachi was delicious and surprisingly, I did not feel bloated or too full afterwards.

They just remade my order at this location and did not charge me again, even though the mistake was completely mine. I don't know what happened to the order at the other location. Since it was a common order maybe they waited to see if someone else ordered that? That kind of service really stands out. They definitely did not need to do that, and it made a big difference, especially since I was trying to eat quickly before going into work. Since they were already helping me out, I added a fried fish side, and it was really good. It was very crispy and came with a sweet and sour sauce that worked well with it. I liked the rice too, the perfect kind to soak up the curry and pair with the katsu. The Katsu Kushi was fun to eat as it had a good amount of variety. I enjoyed the mochi quite a lot, the beef was a bit tough to eat, and I would note that the soft shell crab was extremely fishy. Like INEDIBLE fishy. It's a suitable replacement for the time, for families to enjoy sushi or a Teppanyaki dinner "show". The layout has the Teppanyaki dining tables in the front as you enter, rather than at the back of on the side. I suppose it gives an air of excitement as you walk in and watch the chefs put on their show, but the level of "noise" it creates is a bit overwhelming if you're trying to enjoy a nice dinner with a date, or family and friends Our extended family (10 people) went there for an early (5:30pm) dinner on Saturday, before Father's Day, and were seated at the side room behind the glass partitions. From there, we could hear everything happening at the Teppanyaki tables, as though we were right there; especially when they sang "Happy birthday" about 4 different times for the parties enjoying their dinner. Just as a "heads up", I'm not against it, but it was really difficult for us in the other room to actually have a normal conversation across the table while ago that was happening. The food is pretty decent, with a wide selection of sushi rolls and other standard items. I'm not a big sushi roll eater, I prefer great sashimi and an occasional nigiri, but the rolls were pretty good, with several unique offerings. They have Oyster shooters and Uni shooters that come as 2 per order. There were 3 of us (me, my daughter and SIL), so we asked if we could just order 3, rather than 4, but sadly, no. It was fine, and someone in the group ate the other one, but I wished they would price it as each; as most other restaurants that have this item do. The sashimi was average, but it's more of a family dining spot, rather than a sushi bar. The service was good, and everyone enjoyed the food and fellowship. I may be tempted to come to try the Teppanyaki in the future, especially if I'm bringing my granddaughter for the show.

But the chicken katsu was one of the worst I've ever had on O'ahu. The chicken katsu was greasy and soaked in old oil that tasted rancid and oxidized, which made the panko a disappointingly saturated mess. The panko was way too browned, and neither flaky or freshly crunchy like katsu should truly be, and was a far cry from the photo in the menu. The poor, fatty chicken quality and the rubbery skin left on the chicken pieces just added to the gristly and chewy nature of the katsu. Charging customers these prices for this kind of subpar quality chicken is absolutely insulting, and we couldn't even finish the dish. It's such a disappointment to write this kind of review, but others need to know what they're getting when they order katsu at Gyotaku.
