Best pho on the island at the best price
    Teri Y.

Been coming here for almost 30 yearyand its still excellent. Hole in the wall pho at its very best. You walk in and you smell beef broth and jasmine rice. We always order medium combo/dac biet. Plateful of sprouts, basil and half a lemon ( not a tiny useless wedge like most places). The broth is the star! I could just have that but of course the different slices of beef and cartilage and tripe... Im in heaven. The medium bowl is huge so know that at $16 you are getting a lot of good. I highly recommend trying this local longtime business.

There's a LOT of Vietnamese places to go have Pho... But, how many can you say have really good broth? Well, search no further and stop on by Cuu Long Vietnamese Restaurant. We came in just after the lunch rush. I always try to time my visits in between the Lunch and dinner rushes... We got there and literally everyone there eating just finished and all the tables needed to be bussed... They were super quick to clean a table for us. We sat down and ordered our food... The large combo pho is my go-to... And YES, the pho broth is what makes the place.... I taste the broth. Then, I add ball my fixens. Hoisin sauce, chili pepper oil, lemon, basil, culantro.... Perfection!!

I had to run an errand late in the evening and my daughter wanted pho. Our favorite places were closed already, so we tried Cuu Long. Service was quick and friendly. The broth wasn't as flavorful as other places, but it was still pretty tasty and open later than the others!

$16 side dish of poached dry chicken. Does this look appetizing?

First time eating here. I Ordered two items. Papaya salad and side dish of chicken. Was not impressed with the order I got. I had return the $16 side dish chicken which was very dry tasting (poached). The papaya salad I ate was ok nothing to boast about. I have had better at other Vietnamese restaurants. Maybe there's other dishes that are better? The staff had no problem with taking the chicken off my bill. Other than that the indoor dining has lots of seating with AC.

Excellent food, highly recommended when you're around pearl City area. Good amount of food for the price, reasonable price and authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I definitely will be back again.

Took my Mom and Auntie out for lunch, and they wanted Pho since it was windy and cold for them. It was a busy morning when we got in, but we got greeted and sat immediately. Great service, warm and welcoming interactions with us and other customers. Our water was always filled without us asking. Simple and homey interior, nothing fancy. The food is top notch, the broth is full flavor, generous meat portion. The spring rolls are homemade, made daily, not frozen. The veggies and herbs are crisp and fresh.

Amazing place! I got the pork Banh Mi and Thai tea--service was quick, the sandwich was excellent, and the Thai tea was lovely! Definitely recommend!

I got the large pho combo but I believe I could do the XL combo next time lol. He got the pork shrimp summer roll while I got the shrimp only summer roll appetizer. Everything was delicious! It felt nice because the lady called almost all the girls "sister" lol I thought that was cute! I should try other dishes next time with my pho lol

We planned to pick up dougnuts from Island Glazed. That was dessert, so what to eat for lunch. Craig T had mentioned he had a Uber drop-off their. So Cuu Long Vietnamese was our pick. We were there early so it wasn't busy. My wife ordered the Spring Rolls , and I got the Seafood Pho. Two good picks that we would order again. Clean and spacious seating. The service was friendly and fast. Enjoy

I frequent this restaurant for several reasons; first the Sour Soup, second the Vietnamese coffee, third they open at 10:00 which is when I'm hungry for breakfast/lunch aka Blunch. Located in Pearl Kai Shopping Center they've been here since the beginning of time or maybe just 30 years but as long as I remember. I'm not a Pho fan though you'll catch me in quite a few restaurants which specialize in the soup. I luv BunBo Hue but it's not offered here. I order the Seafood Sour Soup (served with fish and shrimp) years ago you'd get chunks of fresh fish, now it's previously frozen and most likely tilapia and maybe five mediumish shrimp...it's all good it's all about the flavor. It's also offered with chicken, tofu or just vegetable. It's a Tamarind flavored soup with a chunk of pineapple, fresh slices of tomato, taro stems and herbs. Comes with a side of rice but I always refuse the rice and let the soup shine on its own. If they opened at 6:00 I'd be first in line for their Vietnamese freshly brewed coffee. They bring it to you dripping into the cup with condensed milk waiting to be stirred in when the coffee is finished dripping. You can drink it hot or request a glass of ice to pour it over. I'm an iced fan because you can't drink it fast enough when it's that hot. I also like the Spring rolls, crispy traditional pork rolls (2 cut into 4 pieces) served with green leafy lettuce, rice noodles, basil, cucumbers all to messily roll up and dip in their savory sauce. If you've been here often you know that you don't wait to be seated....you be standing there forever while people stare at you. There are about eight tables for four or six people each and a communal table down the middle. When you're done you can sit and wait forever for one of the two busy servers to notice or you just get up and walk to the window in the back and ask to pay your check. It's not fine dining or fine service but I do love that soup and keep coming back.

My go to for dinner after shopping at Pearlridge. Thank goodness today not busy. Food is good

My all time favorite go to pho and all things Vietnamese. Best ice coffee hangs down. Service is always friendly and helpful.

Wow, the broth is delicious. My first phó experience as a new resident on the island of Oahu. The service is quick and the staff is attentive. All the needs you want to add to your phó is available. The setting is cozy and busy, with table turnover.

The service was very friendly and the server was incredibly knowledgable about their menu and how what made some of their dishes stand out from what's expected. First, the price was pretty high compared to the amount of food they served and the flavor of their menu. The pork rice bowl had way too much rice compared to the pork, and I think I only had half of the rice to eat with the pork on top. All the foods we ordered wasn't very flavorful either and they charged 3% for credit cards. The economy is tough right now so that may explain the card charge and the portion size but I don't think I'll be going to this place again. It was good to try but wasn't impressionable!

The soup itself is flavorful and packed with veggies, tofu and chicken. It always makes me feel better. The way they pack it to-go is perfect, they pack the noodles separately so they don't overcook. I also at times get the Pad Thai and spring rolls. The pad Thai is exactly what you want in a pad Thai. They don't skimp on any of the ingredients and the flavor is perfect. The spring rolls always come out fresh with crisp lettuce and basil. The sauce is deliciously sweet and tangy. While the place is small with 4-5 tables, it is very welcoming and the service is fast.

The crispy rice wrap was interesting, but was good and the satay chicken stick was also good with the peanut butter sauce. The spring rolls came out nice and crispy it had the right amount of vegetables and meat inside and went well with the dipping sauce, only thing for the 6 rolls they only have 2 small leaves of romaine to wrap the rolls in so we just ate it with out the romaine lettuce. I had the Evil Princess stir fried with pork and green beans and bamboo shoots, onions and basil leaves with a curry sauce. It was okay but on the sweeter side due to the coconut milk in the curry. My wife enjoyed the fried pork chop with her dipping sauce. The Pad Thai noodles with Chicken was okay, but on the sweeter side like more ketchup than flavor, there was a lot left so others thought the same. Men's restroom is dangerous they have brooms and other cleaning supplies as you enter the restroom, if you are not careful you could trip over the supplies, don't know why they don't place it more inside, because they have room in the restroom. Server was nice and friendly, this is a family run business, looks like the sister, brother, their mother who cleans the table non stop was very busy. And another family member doing the busing and dishes.
