Late lunch/early dinner in Waipahu, Oahu, Hawaii... I kind of wanted a salad, but Pho Mai Han was right there at Westgate Center, where I had parked for Teapresso Bar. I thought: I should just eat vermicelli with BBQ pork and spring rolls... it's kind of like a salad with noodles and protein! There were several empty tables in the spacious restaurant because it was an off hour. I was able to choose my own seat, which had menus placed at every table. Service was efficient and polite. The woman worker even commented on my photo taking... LOL! The food was okay. Is there a thing such as over-marinated meat? Or should I say that the pork was very flavorful? The spring roll didn't seem fresh and crunchy. Hmm... maybe the frying oil should be changed? The veggies were fresh and crisp! Noodles were nice and chewy! I should return for the pho one day...

The Pho broth is very light and it's missing the beefy taste and the spices that are normally what makes a great broth. The service though is good.

I ordered lunch from here on Uber eats. Ordered their combo banh mi sandwich that comes with charsui, steamed pork and pickled carrots and daikon with cucumber and pate. Also ordered their beef stew and chicken yellow curry with rice. Food wasn't bad but it didn't wow me.

Greeted & seated quickly. A few other patrons finishing up. Water served, orders taken. Food delivered in a timely manner. Tasty pho! Filling Banh Mi! Very pleased. Will def return for my pho fixes. Clean & tidy. Low volume noise.

Combination small pho, summer rolls & waiting for the calamari. After work kine meals w/ my bro! Yum!

Nice & attentive service. Food is good. They do have different pho bowl sizes. S/M/L. Some pho places only had one size bowls, so that's nice.

Meh. The vermicelli with BBQ pork and spring roll is overpriced AND there's a surprise 3% credit card surcharge (November 2024). The surcharge was not listed on the menu and we were not informed of this fee. Had I known, I would've paid in cash.

The best place to go when you party a little hard the night before.

Love coming here! Been coming here since high school! Their food is great! Service is always good. The restaurant is well maintained.

After reading the reviews i decided to give this place a try. I'll be honest, i wasn't impressed at all. The food was mediocre and the service was super slow. I believe this place is family owned. The cashier lady barely spoke English and got orders wrong and orders came out late. My son's katsu chicken curry was t cooked all the way. J saw blood fried into some of the chicken. I brought it up and she argued with me that it was "sauce". I'm sure yellow sauce doesn't turn red but what do i know... anyways the Vietnamese coffee was watered down. Didn't taste good. I threw it out. The combination pho was okay, the noodles for some reason tasted old. Safe to say I will not be going back here.

It's been awhile since I've been here but this time we ordered take out on a rainy day. Pho always the perfect food for a rainy day. This time around we ordered the pork chops and BBQ chicken along with a seafood pho and an order of Crispy spring rolls. I did a phone order and my husband wanted the pork chops and BBQ chicken combo but when I picked it up, I wondered why it costed so much until we got home and opened the plates to see that they gave us a plate of BBQ chicken and a plate of pork chops. My fault cuz I didn't specify. Anyway, as for the food, it was okay. They do give alot of noodles with the pho but the freshness of the shrimp in the pho is a hit or miss because one of the shrimps tasted "fishy." My Husband said the pork chops were ok, nothing special. The spring rolls were the best thing we ordered that day.

This was my first time eating pho here. The restaurant is located in the Westgate Shopping Center which is convenient for me since I work 5 minutes away, and today was a great day for pho as it's been overcast with drizzles of rain throughout the morning. I ordered the eye round steak pho (large) and it was surely filling. There were lots of bean sprouts and Thai basil to accompany the pho, and the broth was tasty. The large order is also quite a meal in itself. Atmosphere was simple and quiet. The service was quick and efficient. I love Vietnamese food and will definitely return to try some of the other menu items.

We wanted Thai iced coffee or Thai iced tea before shopping and decided to eat lunch here. Inside is much nicer than you'd imagine for this somewhat run down strip mall in the heart of Waipahu. We were there at 10:45 am so we were the only customers. So idk why the waitress forgot to give us our iced coffee. We ate our food and ny this time more tables were occupied. It looks like it has a good following. it's clean and spacious inside. We inquired about our iced coffee and told her to make them to go so we could do our errands. Lunch was $45, dang prices sure went up. It was good, my husband said the pho broth was tasty. Portions are generous too.

First time here and they have plenty of tables and chairs to dine in. Very spacious! The food came out quick. I ordered a XL combination pho. It was big, big enough to share, which I did. I was a little disappointed with the broth. It didnt have much taste or flavor. I also ordered a Thai tea which was really sweet, but not disappointing. They also have boba tea available which is really cool and a perfect desert for after your meal. The service was amazing. Will I be back? probably not for pho, but I'd come back for Thai tea and boba.

First time here. The interior looks nice and clean and looks fancy as well. There are tables as well as counters and the biggest table can fit 8 people. It's not that busy when we came so we got seated immediately. We received the menu and after a few minutes of thinking.. we decided to order a large rare steak and brisket, short ribs and shrimp and springs rolls. The spring rolls came out first. Followed by the pho and rice plate. The food looked so good so we dig right in (after a few pictures of course). I tried the spring rolls first and it was really good. It went well with the lettuce and rice noodles with the fish sauce dip. The usual spring roll combo. The short ribs came with 3 pieces and the shrimp had 4. I'd wish there was more for the price ($14) but the taste was sooo good. Especially the short ribs. I'd totally recommend. They also have different plates that offer the short ribs so if you're not feeling the shrimp; they also have chicken, pork chop or both. The pho tasted good as well. It's usually depends on the person with what you put in (hoisan, sciracha, lemon, etc.) only down side is that we ordered with no cilantro but they forgot. No biggie though since most of the food was good. All in all the food was good, the staff are also checking in with how the food taste and water refills. I'd say try this place out if you're in the area and craving pho. Don't forgot the free lollipops at the cashier!

This location is just outside of Waipahu Town Center, a convenient drive for us from Pearl City. We arrived around 5:45pm on a Friday. The place is not very large and was packed. We waited just a short time for a table. As a note, the place cleared out by 6:30, so we might try to come a little later next time. We ordered spring rolls to share, and my gf ordered the Beef Back ribs Pho. I ordered the Short Ribs Pho. The spring rolls were ok, but I think we'll skip that the next time. We were overstuffed after eating that and downing the real star of the show here which was the pho. The meat was tender and flavorful and the broth was so good! It has a meaty flavor I have not experienced elsewhere. My gf knew going in when she ordered the Beef Back ribs that it was going to be more than she could eat and she truly struggled, it was a lot of meat even with my help. She thoroughly enjoyed every bite though. Service here was attentive and quick. Our food came out really fast, and the kind servers made sure to keep our water topped off and check in on us often. We were really glad to have tried this place and will be coming again. Is it enough to topple our favorite, Hale Vietnam? It's just such a different experience that I don't think comparison is possible. But I think over time this place will rank up there amongst our favorite places to go.

She loves going to temples and loves Thai food so I definitely was excited to explore this temple together. Based on the address on Yelp, I got lost for a good 10-15 minutes. I almost gave up but luckily spotted it and had to do a U turn and we finally arrived. So I arrived 10 minutes before the food stalls closed but honestly they stayed opened a bit longer than their closing time. As I saw ppl arrive even later and was able to still make purchases. I do have to say that they do start cleaning, and not everything is available as things were being sold out. They have a table for you to grab utensils and condiments. There are some tables you can sit and eat the food that you purchase. Most of the food I purchased was about $10 each. And you pay each stall that you are at. My mom and I enjoyed everything we ordered, if only we were staying in Hawaii more days, we would definitely come back or even order more. The hard part is that they do not have a website and they are not open every Sunday either. So try calling or just randomly go and pray that it will be opened. I honestly really enjoyed my visit. Both a cool temple to go see and being able to eat authentic Thai food it was an extra bonus. 2 thumbs up from this Yelper. I highly recommend coming here if you have not been. The green curry was so awful tasting that we didn't eat it. I've never had green curry that didn't even taste like thai green curry like this. Not sure if fill in cook at lunchtime or what but it didn't even have coconut cream in the sauce. Had to take home to fix this problem, worst ever and would never recommend. Same with the Pad Si-Ew. Totally flavorless! You could tell they just threw it together with precooked pork, precooked broccoli, and tossed it onto the noodles barely fried in a dead sauce of nothing. Another total failure. Do not recommend this or any if this is how they prepare their food. Rice was standard. Will never return to this location again.
