Panang curry with sticky rice and spring rolls.
    Nhu Y P.

It was my first time here at Thai Village. I went for lunch, and I ordered the crispy spring rolls and the panang curry with sticky rice. While it was expensive, I would say, for myself and my young toddler, the portions were good. The food also tasted good. The spring rolls were crispy and hot. The curry had a nice peanut butter taste that wasn't overwhelming and a slight hint of spice. The server was very nice and accommodating. The place was very clean. I didn't have to wait long at all. I enjoyed my lunch here.

Plethora of free parking in Waipi'o Shopping Center. You're welcome to dress comfortably. Simple layout. This location can fit 50+ people in two separate dining areas. Thoughtful customer service from male employee. Our entrees arrived in a timely manner and were served piping hot! Fried Chicken contained fresh, huge pieces that were moist and tender on the inside. Couldn't resist outer layer of crispy, crunchy skin. Sweet, chili sauce poured over the chicken. Great balance. Remained hot for a very long time. Yummy! Pad Thai offered choice of protein. Generous portions of soft, thinly sliced beef, tofu, julienne carrots, and bean sprouts. Nom! Nom! Nom! Green Curry tasted fabulous with distinct flavors of fresh basil, coconut milk, tender beef slices, eggplant, green onions, green and red bell peppers. Curry does a great job of soaking into jasmine rice which is offered Ala carte. I remember informing male employee everything tasted delicious! He smiled and expressed gratitude.

7-19-25 Decided to FAST along with my fur Bebe from 1:25 a.m. Came here right after her 1:30 pm drop off at the vet for a procedure. Decided to order enough to eat there for lunch and have enough for dinner since hubs had gone to Kauai for a family reunion. The dish that tasted the best was the chicken satay. They don't put it on skewers here and the sauce was good. I enjoyed two spring rolls while they were nice and hot. I liked that the lettuce was fresh and crisp, there was also cucumber and the sauce was right on yummy. I like it here as the tables are in a long row so coming alone isn't a problem. There is a small room in the back with more tables. Hmmm... okay it's 7:25 pm , I think I'll go have some chicken satay and spring rolls for dinner. Rats! I should have ordered a curry too . The Thai iced coffee is excellent too- I brought it home in a take out cup, perfect for now too.

I've heard about Thai Village from friends who live further west for years. Finally got to try it. We ordered the curry pad Thai - per my friend - and spring rolls. The spring rolls were very comparable to my fave Thai restaurant in town. The curry pad Thai was interesting - it has a coconut milk flavor, without being too strong. There is a faint curry taste, but it's not spicy or overpowering. It's interesting. But you're asking the wrong person. My go to dish would be pad kee mao or drunken noodles. Next time. Restaurant is pretty clean, lots of seating, lots of lighting. There's a separate room in the back that I guess they fill after the front dining room is full. We sat back there by ourselves, which was nice. Lots and lots of parking. It's in the shopping center with Foodland, Big City Diner, and Calvary Chapel. I would go back, but I wouldn't drive out from town to eat here. My friend out west says town Thai is still best. Service was good and fast!

Had some good Thai food in Waipahu at this restaurant in the Waipi'o Shopping Center. It may be a small place, but it's big on taste at least. Thai Village is pretty authentic with the flavors and spiciness. Prices have gotten higher but they aren't that bad for the big portions you get. You can get things that are meaty, or you can get vegetarian options with tofu as a protein. Even though the place is small, it wasn't crowded. It's a place that doesn't even have bathrooms inside. These are actually located outside and have a key. A pretty big menu with lots of classic favorites. It's about $18 for an entree, which is kind of a lot but you're getting a lot. Each of us got a curry. These are made with fish sauce, but ask them to leave it out to make these vegetarian. I got the Green Curry. This is made with basil, bell peppers, coconut milk, eggplant, green curry sauce, and a choice of protein. Good spice and there's more you can add. There's other things like noodles and rice entrees if wanting something like those. Good place to get authentic Thai food. It's located in the part of the shopping center north of the Foodland and some other Chinese restaurant. There's plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians.

Had a good experience here with my son. Food tasted Good because the panang curry was so good and the pineapple chicken fried rice I ordered for my 7 yr old son he ate most of it and he's usually a picky eater so he definitely enjoyed it. They had a clean dining area, fast service, very friendly and respectful customer service too, bathroom was located outside on the right side of the building exiting the restaurant wasn't too far , clean restroom, we were their only customers since we went in early during daytime and a few customers ordered takeout, I'd say the prices are too pricey tho we only ordered two entrees and a few drinks and dessert yet our bill came out to almost $65, Yikes. But what's more important to me is customer service and it was perfect. So I'd definitely go back there again.

Newly renovated, same great taste. It's always our go to, very convenient Thai place. Food is always fresh and tasty, service is always friendly. Tonight we did a pickup order, but when you dine it it's has a cute family friendly ambiance.

Fish Fillet with spicy garlic sauce

I love Thai Village! Their Waipio location looks small in the front but they have more tables and seats in the back. This time, we wanted to be adventurous and try new things. We ordered the fish fillet, curry pad thai, eggplant stirfry, and banana rice cake. The fish fillet is deep fried but the fish and batter is so light! It comes with a spicy garlic sauce to dip the fish in... that sauce is so good! I would buy a bottle of it! The curry pad thai is very unique and flavorful! It's like a step up from the regular pad thai. The eggplant stirfry is also good. I wanted to try the ong choy stirfry but they didn't have ong choy that day so I went with the eggplant which is something I've already tried from them. I wanted to try their desserts. Our server recommended the banana rice cake and tapioca. I've already tried tapioca so I went with the banana rice cake. It was interesting... it wasn't terrible but I don't think I'd get it again.

Typically, I love digging into a delicious yellow curry paired with some tasty pineapple fried rice. But this time, I decided to mix things up and give the pho combo a shot, along with some spring rolls that even came with a drink! To be honest, though, the pho broth didn't quite hit the mark for me--it was a little bland. So, I was really happy to fall back on my usual favorites!

Love this spot! My go to for Thai food take out! I order food from here and separate it into various containers with rice and wala it's my meal prep for work lunches for the week! Some of my faves from here are the yellow curry with chicken, chicken eggplant stir fry, chicken basil stir fry, and beef ong choy!

This was my go to Thai restaurant. Just remodeled and very bright now. It was so delicious. I ordered at least once a week. Service is fast and staff is friendly. Now to my One star rating. Look at the picture, these are not Pad See Ew noodles. They have recently changed from the delicious thick Thai noodle to these thin egg looking noodle. Taste is very different and does not taste like Thai food. I called thinking these noodles were temporary but the staff informed me that it is a permanent change. Sorry to say that I won't be ordering from Thai Village any more. If they go back to a thick Thai noodle please let me know. I really liked their food. Disappointing!

Other Thai restaurants pack their curry with filler, but this place doesn't! Their curry is the absolute best and their staff are always welcoming snd friendly. I would just go here for the great food alone, but the great staff makes it with an easy 5 stars. Parking is a little rough here, but that's because people are always eating here so you may need to pack a little far away. There is only one handicap stall, and so be ready to walk a little. Pricing is fair. Things have definitely gone up, but if you want cheap Thai food you won't get this kind of quality. I easily spend $50 to $100 on two people when I eat here so it's more of a treat and not an every day meal. It's great food and so I only get to treat myself when I can afford it. We can't live in luxury every day, and this Thai food is definitely a luxury! Their current restaurant dining area itself has an authentic Thai vibe, and sometimes they even play Thai music on the digital screen in the dining area. If you eat here then prepare to be immersed in Thai culture!

It has been so difficult to find one as perfect as they were. So, we are very well experienced in Thai food even in Thailand multiple times. Ordered green chicken curry, Pad Si-Eiw, spring rolls, rice. The spring rolls were good, lettuce leaves were tiny but fresh, dipping sauce was great too. The green curry was so awful tasting that we didn't eat it. I've never had green curry that didn't even taste like thai green curry like this. Not sure if fill in cook at lunchtime or what but it didn't even have coconut cream in the sauce. Had to take home to fix this problem, worst ever and would never recommend. Same with the Pad Si-Ew. Totally flavorless! You could tell they just threw it together with precooked pork, precooked broccoli, and tossed it onto the noodles barely fried in a dead sauce of nothing. Another total failure. Do not recommend this or any if this is how they prepare their food. Rice was standard. Will never return to this location again. Can't imagine where or how the good reviews came from but from our experience, they weren't even close.

She loves going to temples and loves Thai food so I definitely was excited to explore this temple together. Based on the address on Yelp, I got lost for a good 10-15 minutes. I almost gave up but luckily spotted it and had to do a U turn and we finally arrived. So I arrived 10 minutes before the food stalls closed but honestly they stayed opened a bit longer than their closing time. As I saw ppl arrive even later and was able to still make purchases. I do have to say that they do start cleaning, and not everything is available as things were being sold out. They have a table for you to grab utensils and condiments. There are some tables you can sit and eat the food that you purchase. Most of the food I purchased was about $10 each. And you pay each stall that you are at. My mom and I enjoyed everything we ordered, if only we were staying in Hawaii more days, we would definitely come back or even order more. The hard part is that they do not have a website and they are not open every Sunday either. So try calling or just randomly go and pray that it will be opened. I honestly really enjoyed my visit. Both a cool temple to go see and being able to eat authentic Thai food it was an extra bonus. 2 thumbs up from this Yelper. I highly recommend coming here if you have not been.
