Pho combination ! I prefer beef on the side .
Jenny M.

I didn't know that pho place existed, and since I was living in Plano, I never thought to go there to have pho. Now that I've moved to Richardson, a friend told me about the place. I tried it, and it wasn't as bad as others said. I've gone there three times and was never disappointed. If anyone is ordering to go, the best way to get hot pho is to reboil the soup and then add the remaining noodles and meat after the soup is boiled; don't put it in the microwave with the noodles together. I personally prefer softer noodles, so I will cook my pho noodles with the soup. If you don't like softer noodles, then boil the soup first and add it, then turn off the heat.

Ben Bo Hue

First time here. Ordered large Ben Bo Hue. First time having this dish and was great. Service was super fast only minutes to get my order. Great broth! Will order again.

Loved their Bun Bo hue! It was so good and I'm such a big critic for bun Bo hue. So much flavors and with everything in it. Their service was amazing as well. Such a great place to have lunch or dinner with friends and family. It felt so cozy inside. Their dry noodle with grilled pork and egg rolls was also good as well.

Was looking for a place that has good Bun Bo Hue; got a recommendation from a group on FB. Decided to take a drive and give this place a shot. The Bun Bo Hue did not disappoint, only wish that they serve it with block of blood

Spring rolls

I got the grilled pork vermicelli and the spring rolls and they were pretty good! I liked the peanut sauce the spring rolls came with but I thought that the meat in the spring rolls were a bit tough. The grilled pork in the vermicelli was seasoned well and was tender. The service was pretty quick and there was no wait for a table for 7.

Beef noodle soup (Pho) & Vietnamese spring roll

I have tried this pho place every single time when I visited Plano/Richardson area for work in last 5 years. Beef broth (soup) here is one of the best. We stopper by for a lunch on a stormy day. Perfect day. Isn't it? Spring rolls just hits the spot with their thick peanut sauce. Service is quick. They'll take the order from your table and you'll get your food within 10 minutes max. Didn't worry too much about their ambiance since I get a very good pho every single time. Hasn't changed one bit since 2022.

Hands down one of if not the best bowl of Bun Bo in DFW. Most locals I've spoken to have said the best is currently Pho An, I ask how? In what way? The bowl here at Tay Do is as I like to praise: "Đậm đà, đầy đủ". The broth is immensely flavorful and well rounded. They give you the sate mam ruoc on the side (Sate chilli mixed with fermented shrimp paste) which is the cherry on top - that's how you know this is legit Bun Bo. The Pho is also great here as well if someone in your party doesn't want the BBH

Bún thịt nướng is one of Vietnam's most beloved street food dishes and for good reason and you can find at PhonTay Do. . It's a vibrant bowl of grilled pork over rice vermicelli, layered with fresh herbs, pickled vegetables, crushed peanuts, and crispy shallots, all tied together with a drizzle of nước chấm, the sweet-savory fish sauce dressing that makes everything sing. Here's what makes a great bowl stand out: Key Elements of a Stellar Bún Thịt Nướng * Grilled Pork: Smoky, tender, and marinated in lemongrass, garlic, and fish sauce. The char is essential. * Fresh Herbs: Mint, basil, and cilantro add brightness and balance. * Pickled Veggies: Julienned carrots and daikon offer crunch and tang. * Nước Chấm: The soul of the dish. Sweet, salty, sour, and spicy in perfect harmony. If you've had a standout version recently, I'd love to hear what made it special--was it the pork, the herbs, or that perfect sauce ratio? We decided to have Vietnamese soup for breakfast. My daughter loved the broth and said she'll come back again. Service was very good.

Bun Bo hue

My grandpa got some blood work done and wanted to eat lunch right after. It was 9 am but a lot of Vietnamese restaurants are open early. We were the only people inside and our order was quickly taken. I got the bun Bo hue, which is a Vietnamese beef noodle soup. It comes with a huge veggie plate as well as a fermented fish paste and a sate chili sauce. They don't skimp on the meat here. I got tons of slices of meat and a single piece of Vietnamese ham. They also give you 4 pieces of bones with skin, meat, and fat around them. The broth is not that spicy unless you add a lot of the chili sate sauce. Overall I loved the meat, they were all tender. The broth however was not as good as I was expecting.

The Bun Bo Hue, hands down what they're known for among the community! Service is fast and quick, food came out pretty quickly. BBh was super flavorful, great spice! Look at that color!

I travel quite the distance to eat at this place, And each and every time, it is always worth it. This has to be my favorite BBH ever. Definitely stop by if you're in the area.

Coconut Juice

Best pho I've had in town! Love their chicken pho and their coconut juice is something I crave on a daily basis. It's a cozy ambiance, very casual. Quick service and kind employees. Definitely recommend going.

For appetizers I ordered pork belly buns and veggie tempura. Pork belly was room temp and buns slightly warmer. I like pork belly with a little char or grilled, not boiled or steamed and definitely not room temperature. The veggie tempura was 2 pieces of zucchini, potato (not fully cooked) and butternut squash. Small portion and was undercooked. I would've sent it back to be fried more, had the waitress stopped back to check on the food. I ordered Spicy tonkatsu with extra Chasu. The extra chasu was served on a side plate, very small pieces which were not warm. The broth was thin was not hot and lacked any depth of flavor. Again, I would've asked for chili oil/sriracha and for it to be heated up, had the server returned. I think the waitress was new so hence to weak service. I suggest training wait staff in basic wait skills before turning them loose on their own. No check back after food was dropped and no drink refill. This was 2 stars for food, 3 stars for ambience and 2 stars for service. Because the waitress was (obviously) new I rounded up to 3 stars. Hopefully an off night.

The restaurant inside was thoughtfully decorated and the gentleman at the counter was very polite and offered exceptional service. He answered a couple of our questions regarding their menu which made it easier to make a decision. When I say this food packed such a major flavor punch, this is an understatement! Everyone there when considering which wrapped sandwich to get should absolutely get the Saj. It's thin and crispy and contents inside were reminiscent of delicious middle eastern street food but still offered something new! My mixed meat bowl came with three toppings. I chose feta (which was the real deal feta, not some crappy dried out American feta) along with both pickles and pickled turnips. The vinaigrette the salad was tossed in was acidic and bright and made me miss eating a salad. The meat when mixed together with their tahini and garlic sauce was exactly what I needed. Can't wait to come back and try more! Yall should too!

Negatives: the falafel sandwich while flavorful had almost no hummus in it and not enough tahini which made it too dry. The tabouleh salad was horrible. We were happy with the results. It was our first time eating this. It tasted better than it looked. 4 STARS Next up we shared the Bacon Bravo Turkey Sandwich. This use to be my favorite. It was truly disappointing. The bacon was nonexistent, the sandwich was dry it needed more than a drizzle. We didn't care for it at all. The presentation was great, but this sandwich was lacking. 2.5 STARS The lemonade use to be so good. It tasted like water with a splash of lemonade. 2.5 STARS The chips were good and provided a nice crunch. So overall the food and drink were decent. I wish we would have only picked the Ciabatta Cheesesteak Sandwich. Overall 3 STARS Ambiance was ok they desperately need someone to monitor the dining room. This person could and should make sure tables are clean. The floor/carpet was dirty from people dropping food. Napkins that were dirty were on the floor. It wasn't the best. 2.5 STARS I left with mixed emotions as the customer service and steak sandwich were great. However, the ambiance of the dining area was lacking. I'm still a fan, but I think Panera is slightly going down. Ingredients are shrinking and costs are pricey for the quality.
